After their unpleasant conversation at the water fall scarlet made her way back to the mansion alone, immediately she got in she went upstairs to her room.
So many questions played in her head as she paced the room, who were these people? how did Zack know her real name? what other things does Zack know about her? why did he want to ruin Roman? And what does marrying her have to do with Roman's downfall?
It took everything in her to not scream and trash the place, she had to control herself if she wanted to stay on top of the situation, she had to get to the bottom of this whole thing, quickly she picked up her phone and dialled the number of the only person she could trust with this.
"Hello Scarlet why have you called?"
"Carlos Hay un problema" scarlet said in Spanish.
"Qué pasa?" Carlos asked.
"Hay un hombre llamado Zack Adam que me conoce como Davina" scarlet said.
"¿Qué? ¿cómo?" Carlos asked.
"no sé Necesito que averigües todo lo que hay sobre él lo antes posible" Scarlet said.
"está bien, lo haré" Carlos said.
"Gracias," Scarlet said and ended the call.
Scarlet sat on her bed and let out the breath she's been holding, she dropped her phone beside her and placed her hand on her head waiting patiently for Carlos's call.
There were so many secrets about her that if they ever came to light it would destroy her, it will destroy everything she has worked for, she sighed as the flashback of Zack calling her Davina played in her mind.
Davina was meant to be a secret until she fulfilled her goals until accomplished the mission that was given to her and if Zack is a threat to the whole mission then she wouldn't think twice about getting rid of him through any means possible, no one can she's Davina especially not Roman.
Scarlet quickly picked up her phone the moment she heard it ring and picked up the call without checking the caller I'd.
"que encontraste?" Scarlet said immediately she picked up the call.
"asi que hablas espanol?" Roman said.
"Oh" Scarlet said then removed the phone from her ear to check the caller ID.
"Mr Roman" Scarlet said disappointed.
"Has anything strange happened?" Roman asked.
"Strange? How Mr Roman?" Scarlet asked confused by his question.
"I believe you are keeping your eyes open for any strange thing or am I wrong to assume you are that smart"Roman said.
Scarlet rolled her eyes.
"I am sure you are not wrong sir anyways I haven't noticed anything strange, do you suspect Jack or something?" Scarlet said intentionally not telling him about her conversation with Zack and how weird his family seems.
"He's up to something I need you to find out what it is, that's why I choose you for the auction, don't make me regret not sending Alexa instead, find out whatever you can you have just one day left" Roman said.
"I'll find out what I can and I believe I am the only one who can do this, Zack wouldn't have bid for that dress if Alexa was wearing it" Scarlet said.
"True but I would have won the bid if it wasn't for some circumstances, 'cause I wouldn't mind taking that dress off you scarlet" Roman said.
Scarlet didn't know how to respond to what he just said, and it was a shame how her body responded to his words and how she was shamelessly imagining it.
"Scarlet to earth please" Roman said his voice was a bit husky this time, he too was affected by his own words.
"Am here!" Scarlet exclaimed as embarrassment washed over her.
"Find out whatever it is and get back to me," Roman said and ended the call.
Scarlet let out the breath she's been holding, a small smile crept up her face when she remembered what Roman had just said to her.
"No scarlet you can't be that girl! No! What are you smiling for you idiot? Roman is your boss and he dislikes you remember? So don't be stupid, you have so many issues to deal with now, you are not in high school you horny old lady" Scarlet said to her reflection in the mirror.
She sighed and went back to sit on her bed, she had to think of how to play both sides while still carrying out her mission, Roman suspects Zack even though they were best friends which meant that Zack was sloppy or Roman isn't easy to fool, she had to gain both their trust and still find a way to eliminate Zack in the process, he knew her as Davina that alone is punishable by death.
The knock on her door brought her out of her train of thought, she rolled her eyes and made her way to the door, Scarlet sighed before pulling the door open. She was surprised to see the girl from the dining table at her door.
"Can I come in please?" the girl said nervously.
"Su..re" Scarlet said hesitantly and stepped out of the way so she could enter while giving her a suspicious look.
The girl entered the room and began pacing, Scarlet closed the door and crossed her hand on her chest, she slowly made her way towards the girl, she had to be careful around any of the Adams.
"Davina you have to help me" the girl blurted out.
"What!?" Scarlet exclaimed horrified
"You are Davina, right? Zack told me" the girl said.
"No! My name is Scarlet Amelia Finn who is Davina? And why do you need help?" Scarlet said.
"That's not possible your eyes, you have her eyes, you eat the same way I studied you at the breakfast table you are her" the girl said fidgeting as she spoke.
At this point fear crept into Scarlet, these people were beyond weird, something was going on and she needed to leave this place immediately, none of them was familiar in any way but yet they knew her down to how she ate, if things weren't weird before it sure was now, but then again she could use this to her advantage she also needed to know what was going on here and whoever this girl was, she would be useful to her, so her hunter instincts kicked in, scarlet the manipulator surfaced, she knew how to handle young girls like this if she wanted this girl to give her everything she needed she had to gain her trust and that's exactly what she was going to do
"Yes you know me well...so why do you need my help?" Scarlet said.
"I-I-we-we-we-." The girl stuttered.
"Calm down and talk to me okay," Scarlet said and moved closer to the girl and held her shaking hands.
"I need you to help me kill him," the girl said.
"Kill who?" Scarlet asked.
"You need to help me," the girl said fidgeting as tears rolled down her face.
"Shhh calm down who do you want to kill?" Scarlet asked as she rubbed the girls' hands to calm her down.
"Zack," the girl said.
"What?".....
