No one's POV
It was another normal day at Rosemeadow Highschool with Drew, Liam, and Henry. Liam and Henry were goofing off and just being their normal selves. The group was in the hall by Henry's locker when two members of the music club, Zander and Hailey, walked by. As they walked by, Henry and Liam started poking at them, making rude comments and nasty jokes towards them. Hailey looked down and sighed, whereas Zander just rolled his eyes at them
"Ignore them, sis.." he said. Hailey looked at Zander
"They're just imbeciles who have nothing good or useful to do in their spare time"
Drew raised his head from his phone, and looked in the direction Hailey and Zander were headed. He then looked at Henry and Liam, who stopped their goofing off
"Man, those two suck." Liam sighed. Henry nodded in agreement, them saw Lia and Zoey a bit down the hall. Instantly he brushed off whatever he was discussing before with the other boys, and ran to them. Liam just laughed, and Drew turned to him
"Don't understand why they gotta call you an imbecile." Drew said. Liam shrugged. "They're just jealous of how handsome I am." he said winking at Drew
"Yeah, yeah,whatever..." Drew said, rolling his eyes. He looked back down at his phone. As he did, Henry walked back over and began talking with Liam
If Drew had to admit it, he thought Liam was pretty handsome. Anytime Henry or anyone got close to him, it kinda made him jealous since he wanted to be the one close with him
"She's so stuck up.." Henry sighed
"Hey man, you'll get her love eventually. Or maybe someone else's!" Liam said, making Henry smiled
That was another thing about Liam that Drew loved. How he seemed to always know just what to say when someone was upset. How he always managed make people laugh, or even just smile. Drew was always finding himself distracted, thinking about how sweet and cute Liam was
"Drew? Hey, earth to Drew?"
Drew snapped out of his trance, only to realize Liam was snapping his fingers in front of Drew's face
"You alright?" Liam asked. Drew nodded in response
"Oh, uh...yeah. Yeah, I'm fine."
Liam nodded, and the group headed off on their separate ways to their next classes

Drew got home from school, and immediately had gone up to his room. All he told his parents was that he had homework, and would be in his room for a while
Truth be told, he was doing the complete opposite of homework. Or really, anything for that matter. He had gone up to his room, locked himself in, gone to his bed, and just fell back onto it. He was staring up at his ceiling fan as it slowly turned in circles.
He wanted to tell Liam how he felt, but there were a few problems with that. He didn't know how to tell him. He didn't know when to tell him. He didn't know if he even should tell him. He was worried about what reaction he'd get when and if he told him
What if he laughed? What if he was disgusted by Drew? What if he liked someone else? What if it made him uncomfortable?
The 'what if's' were bugging Drew to the point he needed some advice. Advice from someone who he could trust with a secret

Meanwhile at Jake's house, he was already texting back and forth with Liam, trying to give Liam advice on confessions
Liam🍅: What if he gets mad at me or something??
Jake🎙️: I'm sure he won't, Liam. Drew wouldn't get mad during a love confession
Liam🍅: How would you know??
Jake🎙️: Well, here's the thing. You see....I don't-
Liam🍅: You're so weird
As Jake was laying on the living room couch, texting with Liam, a notification from another number texting him dropped down at the top of his screen
A text from Drew
Drew😒: Jake, can we talk?
Jake🎙️: Hey, Drew. Yeah, we can talk! What's up?
Drew😒: ....first of all, can you keep a secret?
Jake🎙️: Depends on the secret...what's going on? Are you okay?
Drew😒: Yeah, I'm okay. Don't worry. But you see...I like Liam...a lot...like, A LOT a lot...
Jake's eyes went wide as he read Drew's text to him over and over again. Was this just a fluke?
A small part of Jake wanted to just tell Drew and Liam "Hey, turns out he likes you back! I know, I'm texting him as I'm texting you right now!"
But he wouldn't do that to two of his closest friends. They were both trusting them with their secrets, and he wouldn't just out them both like that
"Ohh boy...I'm gonna be here a while tonight..." Jake said talking to himself
"Whatcha doing?"
"A-AHH...!!"
Jake had jumped a bit, almost falling off the couch from the sudden small voice. He was so busy looking at his phone, he hadn't even realized his little brother had walked in
"M-Milo....!" he said, turning to his brother who was standing at the end of the couch. "How many times have I told you to please not jump scare me like that...!!"
"It's not my fault you don't pay attention to something that isn't your phone!" Milo said, smirking a bit at the fact he had successfully scared his older brother
"And, if you must know," Jake continued "I'm talking to Liam and Drew...they both need help with something..."
"Ooh, what kind of stuff?" Milo asked
"It's highschool stuff..." Jake sighed, not wanting to get into this with his brother. Milo rolled his eyes, then left to go to his room

After a long, long night of Jake going back and forth between giving advice through text to Liam, and giving advice through text to Drew. Finally, he had told them both the same thing, which was;
"I think if you really love him, just find a good time to talk to him about it. And be honest about your feelings with him."
Jake fell back on his bed, exhausted. He just was hoping things would go well for his two friends the next day at school

The next day at school, Liam and Drew happened to be the first ones to get there, and got there at around the same time. Quickly they went up to each other after spotting one another. At the same time, both of them said;
"I need to talk to you about something."
Both of them just kinda stared at each other in a bit of shock. Then Liam laughed a bit
"Sorry, you first.." he said smiling. Drew felt his face grow a bit warmer
"Uh...listen, I......" he started to say
All of a sudden, they heard a familiar voice shouting from a bit away
"AND THEY WERE ROOMMATES!!!"
Drew flinched a bit in surprise, then turned around. Distanced a good way's away from him and Liam, was Henry. A couple people getting off his bus were staring at him like he was crazy, a few laughing at him
Liam was laughing, but then yelled back "OH MY GOD, THEY WERE ROOMMATES!!!"
"You two have the weirdest ways of greeting each other." Drew said, turning back to Liam as Henry ran over
Liam shrugged
"How do you two even have this much energy at this ungodly hour?" Drew asked
"Cause we're awesome" Henry smiled. He then turned, and saw Jake getting off of his bus. Drew and Liam watched as he quickly ran towards the bus. Then they looked back at each other
"Sorry about that...what's up?" Liam asked
"Uh...well...I was wondering, can you meet me later on the school rooftop...? At lunch...?" Drew asked. Liam felt a bit confused, but also nervous. Despite the mixed feelings, he agreed
"Yep! Sure!"
Jake and Henry walked over, and the four boys headed inside

At lunch, Drew was making his way up to the school's rooftop. He stomach was full of butterflies as he was thinking about what he was about to tell Liam
When he got up the stairs and opened the doors to the rooftop, he saw Liam there, sitting on one of the benches on the roof. Liam turned, and looked at Drew as he was walking over
"Oh, hey..sorry, did I keep you waiting...?" Drew asked
"Nah..just got here about...."
Liam looked at the time on his phone
"...two minutes ago!"
Drew nodded, and sat beside Liam. Both of them looked up at the sky, watching the clouds slowly pass, in silence. Five minutes passed. Then ten. At that point, Drew figure he had to say something
"Hey, Liam...?"
Liam turned and looked at Drew
"Yeah?"
"Uh....u-uh......"
Drew was suddenly at a loss for words. He wanted to say he liked Liam, but this felt too forward. At least for him. Quickly he thought up something to say
"Didn't....you have something you wanted to tell me...?"
"Oh..! Right..." Liam said, as he shifted a bit so he was fully facing Drew
"Well...uh...Drew, you see...the thing is...."
Liam looked down, his face turning pink. Drew immediately noticed that, and he also started blushing
Liam took a deep breath, then just said what he wanted to say
"Drew, I'm in love with you...I understand if...if you don't feel the same way, but...I just wanted to tell you how I felt...I think you're...really amazing...you're funny, you're sweet, you're charming...and I don't think I could ever love anyone that isn't you..."
Drew's face went from pink to red as Liam continued
"Again, if you don't feel the same, I won't be angry with you..."
Drew was silent, trying to find the right words to respond with
"Liam, I...."
Liam felt sick suddenly, and looked down. "Is he about to turn me down....?" he thought to himself
"I'm in love with you too..." Drew said. Liam looked back up at him
"Wh-Wha.......really....?!" he smiled excitedly
Drew nodded, smiling a bit too
"Oh, thank god...that feels so much better being off my mind..." Liam sighed. Drew nodded
"I actually had to...ask Jake last night for a bit of help with confessing..." Liam admitted, a bit embarassed
Drew's eyes went a bit wide, and he stared at Liam
"Huh...so did I..." he said
Both of them laughed a bit, then stared at each other
"Hey Liam...?" Drew said after a few seconds of silence
"What?" Liam responded
"Uh....can....can I kiss you...?"
Liam's face went red, then he just smiled and said;
"Yeah, sure..!"
Drew turned so he was facing Liam, then kissed him. Both of them stayed like that for a short few minutes, then looked at each other
"Love you..." Liam smiled, holding Drew's hand. Drew smiled back and said;
"I love you too..."
