While this is technically my original idea (to my knowledge) I'm still going to give NonbinaryAugust credit for this idea seeing as they were the first one to write it.
If you haven't read it I highly recommend doing so, actually, you should read all of their books.

It was dark outside, raining, not a light rain a heavy rain, the kind of rain that hurt your head when you were outside.
A man washed up on the shore with a flipped-over boat snapped in two and buried in the sand.
The sun rose up and the rain softened, a tall ragged man laid face first into the sandy beach.
A blond boy walked down to the beach as he normally did unsure why he would.
"What the fuck-"
The blond stood over the half-dead man looking over his body.
His chestnut brown hair was soaking wet with some sand intertwining with his hair, and his trench coat was half off his body looking like the waves were trying to steal it back it had some patterns one which looked like a flag of sorts.
"Fuck... that really fucking hurt-"
The body spoke lifting up his head and coughing up some sand, he looked up at the boy.
"T-Tommy?"
"Huh?"
"TOMMY!"
He sat up quickly trapping the boy in a hug.
"YO- dude.. I don't know who the fuck you are man"
"What? It's me. Wilbur"
"Wilbur?"
"YES!"
There was a silence between the two.
"That's a stupid name-"
Tommy pushed Wilbur off of him and walked away.
"TOMMY WAIT!"
Wilbur ran after him catching up and leaving him out of breath.
"Dude, you ran only a few blocks how are you already tired?"
"That's not- important."
"Also what's with the white in your hair? You old or something."
Tommy laughed at his own joke which Wilbur wasn't too happy with.
"That's... not important either... you know I have a question, Toms!"
"Don't call me Toms."
"Okay- um where am I?"
Tommy laughed and shook his head,
"Your first day on the SMP I guess."
"Well-"
"That's okay mate, I'll be your tour guide."
He grabbed Wilbur's hand and lead him around the SMP.
"It's odd how you didn't spawn with everyone else... but that's beside the point, this is the community house!"
Wilbur was confused by everything that was happening, the whole SMP was different.
Nothing was left that he remembered other than grass and trees, not even Las Neades was there.
"And this is my humble abode."
"Oh... it's nice."
"Thank you, big man."
"Big man?"
"Yeah. You're a tall fuck so- big man."
"Hm..."
Two people started walking up a stone road one held some blocks and the other held a chest, Wilbur was already thrown off by the stone roads instead of the wooden prime path he was used to, so much he hardly paid any attention to the people walking up the path.
"Hey, big man-"
"Tommy?"
He pointed at the two people,
"Since this is your first day on the server you should make some friends, be careful with that small goat-looking guy he's kind of weird, and the duck one-"
Wilbur stopped listening at the duck part and instead looking to the duck.
It was Quackity.
"Wilbur?"
Tommy punched him in the arm quickly grabbing his attention.
"What-"
"Hey, Tommy who's your friend?"
"Why are they so tall-"
Wilbur let out a small disappointed sigh staring down at the two.
"This is... Wilbur dumb name I know"
Tommy laughed and so did the goat hybrid.
"Quackity! I would shake your hand, but mine are kind of occupied at the moment"
"Oh, would you like some help then?"
"Sure, I'm helping tubbo build his base"
Quackity motioned over to the goat hybrid next to him.
"Yeah! You can join us if you want,"
Quackity nodded.
"You can stay at my house if you want,"
"Su...sure"

We left Tommy at his house and I helped Quackity carry the chest.
"Thanks a lot, man!" (Why did Closer start playing 😶)
"Yeah, if it weren't for you this would have taken us all day."
"It's no problem, so are you two the only ones living up here or?"
"Nah, there's this Phil guy, some enderman person,"
"Ranboo-"
"Thank you, uh who else..."
Quackity paused as we continued to walk up the mountain,
"Oh George, Niki, and some fox kid whose name I honestly forgot."
Fundy was here?
If no one remembers me... I might be able to make it up to him!
"Wil? why are you smiling all of a sudden?"
"Huh? Oh it's nothing, just haven't seen people in a long time"
"Well, you should have a fun time here then, everyone's pretty nice."
"Oh, I'm sure I'll love it.."
Once we made it to the top it was a nice looking village place, with dirt paths leading to houses, farms, and what looked like little stores.
It was a lot nicer than anything I'd ever seen on the server.
We dropped the stuff off at where Tubbo's house was going to be.
"Thanks for the help Q! Oh and you um.. Wil?"
"No problem.. and yeah"
"Bye Tubs! See you later,"
"Bye ma!"
Quackity giggled a bit taking my hand and dragging me to a cottage.
"You live here?"
"Yep!"
"A lot different from Las Nevadas..."
"Where? Is that where you're from?"
He looked back at me confused, what the hell even happened here..
First Tommy doesn't remember me, the server's completely different (Material girl LMAOO), Tubbo NOR Quackity remembers me, Quackity, Tubbo, Phil, Ranboo, George, Niki, and Fundy live in a meadow surrounded by mountain, and Quackity doesn't even know what Las Nevadas is...
"Do... do you not like to talk about it?"
"Huh?"
"You just went quiet when I asked if that's where you were from, so-"
"Nah, it's um... a place someone I knew owned."
"Oh? What happened to them?"
I looked him in the eye, he still had that scar from Techno, plus the same hair and beanie he had always worn. So it's the same person, he's just different.
(Galway girl. Why :D)
"I... I don't know.."
