And it's that special time where we introduce the main characters. Because this new world is heavily based on fantasy RPG games, they will be separated into classes, similar to Dungeons and Dragons - which Twist is based on.
Now, let us begin.
Team FRSB
Name: Yin Marigold Rose
Class: Cleric
Weapon: Holy Staff, Katana
Occupation: Adventurer
Race: Human
Abilities: Yin, as a cleric, has the ability to heal his party and apply buffs, such as barriers that can repel lower level magic. However, when it comes down to melee he uses his katana.
Primary Stats: Constitution, Dexterity
Personality: Yin is kind, and prefers not to hold grudges. Willing to ignore his own personal wants, he desires nothing more than to help the people around him. Despite this, however, his affiliation with the Church of Light has left him a racist bigot towards anything that isn't human. Perhaps one day, he will understand the truth and change his ways.
Alignment: Neutral Good
Lore: Stripped of his memories, he does not remember the First and Second Timeline. He grew up alongside his siblings; Ruby Rose, Vao Branwen, and Yang Xiao-Long. With them, he also grew up with Cardin Winchester, Russell Thrush, Dove Bronzewing, and Sky Lark. As a cleric, he is affiliated with the Church of Light, and his deity is the God of Light.
Name: Vao Dusty Branwen
Class: Rogue/Thief
Weapon: Battle-axe, Explosives
Occupation: Adventurer
Race: Human
Abilities: Despite being a rogue, Vao uses a battle-axe and possesses a great deal of strength, despite having no muscle mass. As a rogue, he is more suited for scouting and stealth, relying on his strength to defend himself if necessary. Like a rogue, he fights very dirty. Vao also displays a strange ability to communicate with animals and certain monsters.
Primary Stats: Charisma, Strength
Personality: Vao is the complete opposite of his brother. He is a rude alcoholic, but he means well. His greed leads him into dangerous situations, and his inability to read proves to be problematic at times. Quite often his low intelligence is the punchline for jokes. Due to his upbringing, he harbors no ill will towards other races.
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Lore: Like Yin, he does not have any memory of the previous Timelines. Growing up with his siblings and friends, he is acquainted with Hei Xiong Jr., the bartender at the local Adventurer's Guild. He is not a part of the Church, choosing instead to drink and flirt with other adventurers - regardless of gender.
Name: Verde Forest
Class: Witch
Weapon: Magic Staff, Dagger
Occupation: Hermit (formerly), Adventurer (current)
Race: Human
Abilities: As a witch, Verde is capable of casting spells using her staff, and lower level spells using her hands. She displays a genius level intelligence. When she is unable to use her spells for whatever reason, she resorts to a small dagger. As a witch, she cannot take very much damage.
Primary Stats: Intelligence, Wisdom
Personality: Verde is incapable of expressing herself due to childhood trauma. This leads to her showing little reaction to most situations, enabling her to think clearly and rationally. However, she develops a trust in Vao, which allows her to express herself when she is alone with him. She expresses a deep hatred for the Church, and fears priests.
Alignment: True Neutral
Lore: As with Yin and Vao, she does not remember the previous Timelines. Verde grew up with an abusive father before she fled and lived deep within the forested swamps, where she lived alone for three years and studied magic. Considered a heretic to the Church of Light, she is not allowed in most stores and faces heavy prejudice. If it hadn't been for Vao, she'd have been executed for heresy. She does not like the Church of Light for obvious reasons - they would prefer to see her dead.
Name: Sasha Steel
Class: Barbarian
Weapon: Curved Greatsword
Occupation: Adventurer
Race: Elf
Abilities: Sasha is the strongest member of FRSB. She is able to be used as a tank, soaking damage like a sponge, as well as provide heavy blows. However, if she takes too much damage she can die if Yin does not provide healing support.
Primary Stats: Strength, Constitution
Personality: Sasha is a friendly adventurer who loves to go on adventures with her friends. She loves the heat of battle, and prefers quests that involve fighting. She doesn't talk about her past, and will change the subject.
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Lore: Like the rest of her party, Sasha does not remember the previous Timelines. She grew up in a small village far away in a desert, where she was forced into joining a gang of bandits. Forced to kill men, women, and children under the threat her family would be murdered, Sasha spent most of her preteen and teenage years with the bandits. After her family was murdered, she fled, and met FRSB.

Class: Noble
Weapon: Rapier
Occupation: Royalty
Race: Human
Abilities: Because Salem is a member of the Royal Family, she has an enormous amount of money, and has valuable connections across Twist. She is skilled with her rapier, but lacks true combat experience.
Primary Stats: Dexterity, Wisdom
Personality: Salem is a nervous noble who fears the worst in situations. She prefers the more cautious approach, and accompanies Yin, Vao, Verde, and Sasha out of fear something bad will happen to them. She is shown to be very caring, valuing her friendship with FRSB. She does not trust the Church mornits deity, believing the God of Light and the God of Darkness to be orchestrating a nightmarish life.
Alignment: Neutral Good
Lore: Salem is one of the only two characters who remembers the First and Second Timeline. This is the direct cause of her being incredibly nervous and caring about the safety of FRSB. She feels nothing but guilt and shame for her actions in the previous Timelines, and accompanies FRSB in hopes to keep them safe. In this Timeline, she grew up as royalty, and serves as a princess. Due to being royalty, she is affiliated with the Church of Light, but holds a hatred for its deity.
Name: Oswald
Class: Knight
Weapon: Cane Sword
Occupation: Adventurer
Race: Unknown
Abilities: This strange knight shows great swordsmanship. He is rumored to have other abilities, but they are unknown to many aside from himself. He is very knowledgeable about the world, often giving valuable advice to adventurers.
Primary Stats: Unknown
Personality: He is shown to speak respectfully to others, but will call them out for rash and poor decisions. His goals are unknown, and nothing else is known about his personality.
Alignment: Unknown
Lore: Despite being a knight, he has no connection to the Royal Family nor the Church of Light. He occasionally appears to give FRSB advice and tips, and displays a wariness around Salem. His true identity is unknown, due to wearing a helmet and full set of plate armor to conceal himself. Rumor has it his name is not Oswald.
Name: Raven Branwen
Class: Warrior
Weapon: An ōdachi named Omen
Occupation: Adventurer (formerly), flower vendor (current)
Race: Human
Abilities: Raven displays a deep knowledge of battle, making her useful for any party. She shows spectacular swordsmanship, and a lust for a fight.
Primary Stats: Strength, Dexterity
Personality: Raven is strict and harsh, but she has a gentle side - at least, that's what Vao and Yang say. Despite her tendency to be rude, she knows what she is talking about and acts as a mentor for her children. However, she is a bad influence on Vao, encouraging him to steal and punishing him if he's caught.
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Lore: Raven used to be an adventurer, but retired when she gave birth to Yang, and later Vao. Her children fear her, but also respect her. She runs a flower stall in the Faralda market with her twin brother, Qrow Branwen. Sometimes she accompanies Team FRSB on quests, and regularly goes with Vao to steal from homes. Like her brother and son, she is an alcoholic.
Name: Ruby Rose
Class: Warrior
Weapon: A scythe she painted red named Crescent Rose.
Occupation: Adventurer
Race: Human
Abilities: Ruby shows great dexterity with her scythe, able to pinpoint weak spots in her opponents. Despite living with a cleric, she knows no miracles.
Primary Stats: Dexterity, Constitution
Personality: Ruby is easily excited, and has a fondness for weapons. Kind to any she meets, she is one of the few who is not openly discriminatory towards other races, but the effects of the Church has left her wary of anything that isn't human. She idolizes being a hero.
Alignment: Lawful Good
Lore: Ruby grew up in the same household as Yin, and thus has adopted some of his behaviors. However, due to not being a confrontational person, Ruby tends to shy away from being openly racist. She sometimes joins Team FRSB on quests, but usually stays with her own party.
Name: Yang Xiao-Long
Class: Brawler
Weapon: Gauntlets
Occupation: Adventurer
Race: Human
Abilities: Yang possesses great physical strength, only beaten by Sasha, and equal to Vao. She can hold her own in a fight, displaying above average stamina.
Primary Stats: Strength, Constitution
Personality: Yang is an energetic extrovert. With a love for fighting, she is the only member of her household who does not excessively drink - she has a few, but never to the point of her mother and brother. Yang likes jokes.
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Lore: Yang grew up in the same household as Vao, and thus grew up with Raven teaching her to treat everybody the same. After all, race doesn't matter when you're stealing. Yang doesn't usually go on quests with FRSB, but will help if she is needed.
