No one's POV
"Are these song lyrics?! Man, what a dork!"
Three bullies had surrounded Jake, taunting him with hurtful comments. They had taken his notebook and we're flipping through it
"Hey, give that back...!!" Jake said. One of the boys not holding the book shoved Jake back into his locker before going back to join the other two in looking. "Oh man, this is some seriously cringey stuff!" the one holding the book laughed. Then his eyes widened as an idea sprung to mind. "Perhaps the whole school should know about it..."
"N-NO, PLEASE...!!!" Jake panicked. The other three boys laughed as they ripped a few pages out of the book. Jake watched in horror as the three boys cackled maniacally as they teared out page after page. Once they were done with their little game, they stared at Jake as he was still leaning against the locker he'd been pushed into. They tossed the ripped out and slightly crumpled papers onto Jake. Jake slid down against the locker to the floor as the papers fluttered down all around him, tears welling up in his eyes

"I TOLD you he was just using us!"
Jake looked around the pitch blackness at the slightly familiar sounding voice. He saw the music club standing in the distance together
"G-Guys....?!"
He started to run over, but when he got closer he felt slightly pushed back as if an invisible forcefield was there to stop him from getting in
"That jackass is gonna regret everything he ever did to us..."
The voice speaking was also the one from before. Zander's
"How should we hurt him, Hailey?" Milly asked "Physically or emotionally?"
"H-Hailey.....!!" Jake screamed as he tried.to push himself closer to the club. None of them could hear him though
"Personally, I say we let the whole school know just how much of a jerk he is.." Hailey smiled. Jake noticed she was staring down at a cell phone. She tapped the screen and the recording started to play again
"HECK, HAILEY CAN'T EVEN SING WITHOUT ME BECAUSE OF HER STUPID STAGE FRIGHT!!! AND THEY PROBABLY WOULDN'T STAND A CHANCE WITHOUT ME!! THEY SHOULD BE GRATEFUL I EVEN JOINED THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE!! THEY SHOULD'VE KNOWN FROM THE MOMENT I JOINED THAT I WOULDN'T BE A MUSIC FREAK!!!"
"Let's make this lovely work of art go viral~" Hailey smiled "I'm sure the whole school would love to know just what perfect pretty boy Jake Sterling really thinks of the people that get close to him..."

"Damn, Jake, you really ARE a loser."
"Wh-What....?"
Jake stared in shock at the three people before him that he thought he could trust. Henry, Liam, and Drew
"Drew's right." Liam said "we should've left you on that street corner where you were standing."
"He wasn't on a street corner, he was in the hall." Henry said. "Shuttup, it's a metaphor!" Liam whispered as he elbowed Henry
"And never in a million years would I expect you to pick that lame-ass club over us. You're REAL friends." Drew continued, ignoring Liam and Henry
Jake stared at them with tears running down his face. "You really are a freak, huh?" Drew smirked. Liam and Henry had stopped their bickering, and were now cackling with laughter at Jake. Jake was shaking like crazy as watched his so called "friends" laugh. The music club, and Jake's tormentors all gathered around him as well. All of them were crowded around him laughing
"STOP IT....!!! STOP IT STOP IT STOP IT....!!!"

Jake jolted up in his bed in a cold sweat, shaking uncontrollably. He looked around his room in a panic. His stomach was hurting from how scared he was, and he wrapped his arms around his torso. Tears started to pour from his eyes. The only thing he could think of was the horrible nightmare he just experienced
"C-Calm down, you're fine...." he said to himself as he tried to calm down "it was just a dream....j-just.....a stupid....dream...."
Jake layed back down, resting his head on his pillow. He took a few deep breaths, trying to calm himself down, despite how badly he was shaking. He grabbed his phone off his side table and looked at the time. 1:25 in the morning
"Oh boy, I gotta get some sleep..." Jake sighed as he put his phone back. He rolled onto his side and closed his eyes, ready to go back to sleep
After a few minutes though, Jake hadn't fallen back asleep and didn't really feel like it. He sat up again shaking, and stared around his room. He picked up his phone again and opened his contacts. Usually whenever he had a nightmare, he'd text Drew to talk. The first couple of times it happened, Drew would laugh and tell Jake "man up" or "don't be so wimpy" or something like that. But as time went on, Drew had actually became more understanding of it all. As Jake opened Drew's contact, ready to text him about his troubles, he thought back to the part of his nightmare involving Drew, Liam, and Henry. It hurt to even begin to think about the possibility of that happening, and was glad it hadn't. He hoped it would stay that way, as he began texting
Jake🍑: Drew, are you awake..?
After about five minutes, the typing bubble popped up. Then Drew's message
Drew❤️: What the hell?! Jake, it's 1:30 in the morning!!
Jake🍑: I know, I'm sorry...I'm just not having a good night right now...
Drew❤️: Oh, what now??
Jake🍑: I had another nightmare and I'm really scared and don't wanna go back to sleep :(
Drew❤️: Again?? Damn. Well, I guess even though I was having a good sleep, we can chat till you fall back asleep
Jake🍑: Drew, I don't think just texting isn't going to be enough this time. It's really bad
Drew❤️: Okay? Do you want me to call you?
Jake🍑: I was actually wondering if you could come over for the night...? My brother's sleeping over at a friend's house, and my parents are out for the night on a date, so it'll just be us
Drew didn't immediately responded after. In fact it took him several minutes to
Drew❤️: You expect me to get out of my comfy bed, leave my house, and come to your place just to comfort you after a nightmare??
Jake🍑: Please Drew...??
Another few minutes passed, then another text
Drew❤️: Fine, I'll be there in 15.
Jake🍑: Thank you❤️❤️❤️

Almost 20 minutes later, Jake heard his doorbell ring from his room. He got up and headed downstairs. When he opened the door, he saw Drew standing there with his bag
"Hello."
"Hi.." Jake said. He looked pretty upset
"I'm sorry to call you here this late at night..."
"s'alright..." Drew sighed "I'm just super tired.'
The two of them headed inside and up to Jake's room, closing the door once they got in
"So, ya wanna talk to me about what happened?" Drew asked sitting down on the bed. Jake stayed at the door, staring nervously at him. "Uh...I dunno...."
"Alright, well, at least come over and lay down for a bit."
Drew layed back on the bed as Jake walked over, then layed down beside him. Suddenly all his tears came pouring out of him, catching Drew off guard
"W-Woah, you okay....?"
"I-It was horrible......!!"
Next thing they both knew, Drew was sitting there listening to Jake tell his terrifying story through sobs and uncontrollable shaking. By the time he was done, he still hadn't stopped crying. Drew stared at him feeling awful for the state he was in. A few seconds after Jake finished retelling his nightmare, Drew shifted forward a bit. He then wrapped his arms around Jake's waste and pulled him into a hug
"Ssh...it's alright..." he said in a soft tone of voice "you're okay...it wasn't real...none of it was real..."
Jake looked down. "I-I know..." he said as he continued to shake "I-I just......it......."
"It felt like it and it got to you....?" Drew added, to which Jake nodded
"Yeah..."
"Jake, listen to me..." Drew said. He held Jake's face in his hands as he talked. "That music club.....they're a bunch of jerks....unlike me and the guys, they didn't give you a chance to explain yourself...me, Henry, and Liam....we know you're not a bad person....and as long as you've got me by your side, no one will mess with you or make you feel bad about yourself...."
Jake had stopped shaking a bit as he continued to stare at Drew. His face still had a few tears streaking down it, but it had also turned pink. Drew gave him a smile before kissing his forehead. "You feel better now...?" he asked. "A little bit..." Jake smiled
"Think ya feel calm enough to go back to sleep....?"
Jake thought for a moment, then nodded. But then asked "can...I maybe play soft music on my phone....?"
Drew nodded as he let Jake reach to his side table for his phone. He opened his music app, and searched for a specific album of relaxing music. Once it was playing, he put his phone back on his side table then turned to face Drew again. Drew put his arms around Jake's waste once more, pulling him close. Jake leaned his head into Drew's chest as he began to feel tired
"You okay now...?" Drew asked. Jake nodded in response
"I love you, Drew..." he said sleepily
"I love you too, Jakey..."
