Kai sat in the Quinjet and watched through the window as they entered Sokovia.
" This is where y'all grew up?" Kai asked.
" It used to be nicer." Pietro defended.
" Still better than where I was raised." Kai said.
" Come on kids, time to get the people to evacuate." Steve told them.
They nodded as the jet landed and the started to unload. Kai, Wanda and Pietro stood next to each other looking over the city. Kai looked at Wanda, and noticed something.
" Is that Nat's jacket?" Kai asked looking at her red leather jacket.
Wanda just shrugged.
" Pietro ran around the city and warn the police and people that live at the edge of the city." Steve instructed.
Pietro ran off in a blue haze.
" Wanda, use your powers to get people out of their homes and out of the city." Steve told her.
Wanda nodded and gave a quick glance at Kai before walking towards the middle of the town square.
" Kai, you, me and Clint are going to help direct everyone to safety." Steve looked at her.
" Aye, aye, Captain." Kai saluted him before walking off.
It didn't take long before people started frantically walking around the town square trying to get out. Kai directed people out of harms way, and tried to keep people calm. She looked over and saw Wanda's powers reaching hundreds of people. She entranced Kai so much that Kai almost didn't notice all of the robots starting to break through the ground.
" Oh fucking shit." Kai said pulling out her gun and shooting one in the head.
Everyone started to scream and running.
" Go! This way! Come on!" Kai shouted.
Another robot blasted at her. Kai dodged it, and pulled out her dagger and threw it. It went straight through its head. She then turned and shot another one that was creeping up behind her.
Another one started to break through the ground but Kai just stomped on it's head before it could even get fully out. When she did that she felt the ground start to rumble. She looked up confused, like she knew she was a super Solider but damn. Then the ground started to float up. Kai ran towards the edge, grabbing her dagger along the way and saw a growing crack. A whole chunk of the city was being broken off from the rest and floating towards the atmosphere.
Kai heard cracking and saw Wanda standing next to the edge too. But her spot was about to break. Kai rushed over to her and tackled to her the side just as the spot she was standing in crumbled. Wanda looked at the missing piece of rock.
" Thank you." Wanda looked at Kai.
" Yeah no problem, rookie." Kai smirked before standing up and rushing towards the middle of the floating rock.
She started shooting the robots again. Wanda joined her side using.
" Stark you make sure the city comes down safe. The rest of use have one job, tear these things apart. You get hurt, hurt them back. You get killed, walk it off." Steve came over comms.
" Wow, he's pep talks are really going down." Kai joked.
Wanda just looked at her as she fought robots.
" Right, not use to me making jokes as a coping mechanism." Kai remember.
Kai saw the Hulk start smashing robots.
" Nat." Kai whispered to herself.
She shot the last robot in that area before running off to find Nat.
" Wait, don't leave me." Wanda called after her as she followed.
They ran down an alley and found Clint with a hoard of robots above him.
Kai immediately jumped into action and ran on top of a car and jump towards one. Pulling out two daggers and slicing them down the robot. Clint started shooting them and Wanda tried to keep up. Kai shot another and then killed two with her dagger. One blasted at her, hitting her shoulder making Kai fall to her side on the hood of the car. It also didn't help that a piece of broken glass cut her right above her eyebrow.
She groaned and pushed herself back up wiping away the blood that was about to drip over her eye.
More started to arrive.
" I need to reload!" Kai shouted as she ran inside a building.
Clint and Wanda following. Wanda crawled towards the way mumbling to herself.
" Hey, hey, you okay?" Clint asked Wanda.
" This is all our fault." Wanda said.
" Hey look at me, it's your fault, it's everyone's fault. Who cares? Are you up for this? Are you? Look I just need to know. Because the city is flying. Okay, look the city is flying. We're fighting an army of robots, and I have a bow and arrow, non of this makes sense. But I'm going back out there cause it's my job. And Kai is probably bleeding out right now but I know she'll go back out there too. Okay? But we can't do our job and babysit. It doesn't matter what you did or what you were. If you go out there, you fight, and you fight to kill. Stay in here, your good. I'll send your brother to come find you. But if you step out that door. You are an Avenger. Alright, good chat. You ready Kai?" Clint asked.
" As much as I can be." Kai cocked her now fully loaded gun.
Clint kicked open the door and they walked out and started shooting the robots. A second later Wanda walked out of the door and within seconds destroyed all the robots.
" Why do I even try anymore." Kai said wiping the blood from her head.
" Okay we are all clear here." Clint said.
" We are not clear. We are very not clear!" Steve said.
" Alright we are coming to you." Kai said.
Suddenly Pietro ran towards them grabbed Wanda and ran off but not before saying:
" Keep up old man."
Clint sighed and aimed a shot at Pietro.
" Nobody would know. Just you and me." Clint said.
" Come on buddy." Kai patted Clint's back.
" Last I saw him, Ultron was sitting on him. Yeah he'll be missed that quick little bastard. I miss him already." Clint said as they ran towards the action.
" Oh shit are going through a cloud right now?" Kai asked as all of the sudden it became grey and foggy.
" In there, come on." Clint saw everyone going inside a hospital.
Kai saw Steve and Nat talking. She immediately ran over to them.
" Natty!" Kai called.
" юнлинг!" Nat turned and saw her running towards her.
Translation: youngling
They immediately hugged.
" You're bleeding." Nat looked at her head.
" I'm okay, I promise." Kai told her.
" I don't think we are getting out of this." Nat told her.
" I know. But what a great view." Kai looked at the sky.
" I'm glad you like the view Romanoff. But I got a better one." Fury's voice came over comms.
And then the helicarriers appeared in front of them.
" Nice right? Pulled her out of mothballs with a couple of old friends. She's dusty but she will do." Fury said.
" Fury, you son of a bitch." Steve said.
" Ooh! You kiss your mouthed with that mouth?" Fury asked.
Kai smiled as lifeboats started towards them.
" This is S.H.I.E.L.D.?" Pietro asked.
" This is what S.H.I.E.L.D. is suppose to be." Steve told him.
" This is not so bad." Pietro said.
" Let's load them up." Steve told them.
People started running out of buildings and Kai, Steve, Nat, Pietro, Wanda, and Clint started getting people on the boat.
" Thor I have a plan." Tony said.
" No time they are coming for the core." Thor told them.
" Rhodey get the rest these people on the carrier. Avengers time to work for a living." Tony told them.
They all started running towards the core to protect it from the robots. Thor, The Vision and Pietro were the first there.
" Come on I have an easier way." Nat whispered to Kai.
She looked over a huge truck. Kai matched her smirk.
" You are a genius red." Kai nodded and they ran to the truck.
Nat got in the drivers seat and Kai got in the passenger seat.
Nat put it in drive and took off.
" Romanoff you and Banner better not be playing hide the zucchini." Tony told her.
" Calm down. Not all of us can fly." Nat told him as they hit a ramp and flew right at the core.
They landed and got out of the truck joining the rest of the group.
" The Widows have arrived." Kai said.
" What's the drill?" Nat asked.
" This is the drill. If Ultron gets a hand on the core, we lose." Tony told them.
The Hulk joined them just as Ultron floated down.
" Is that the best you can do?" Thor yelled.
Ultron raised his hand and an army of robots joined at his side.
" You had to ask." Steve sighed.
" This is the best I can do. This is exactly what I wanted. All of you, versus all of me. How could you possibly hope to stop me?" Ultron asked asked.
" Well, like the old man said together." Tony said.
" And probably water, cause you're metal-and ya know rust, cause water makes metal-screw it, TOGETHER!" Kai shouted.
Then The Hulk roared and the robots started running towards them. They destroyed the robots as The Vision fought Ultron. Tony and Thor joined Vision and blasted everything they had at him.
" You know, with the benefit of hindsight-"
Ultron started but Hulk threw him.
All the robots started running and flew off.
" We can't let them leave not one. Rhodey." Tony said.
" Got it. Oh no I didn't say you could leave. Here comes the war mac-" Rhodey started but Vision took out all the robots before he could.
" Uh what?" Rhodey asked.
" You got to get out of here, even I can tell the airs starting to get thin. You three get on a boat, I'll sweep for stragglers. Be right behind you." Steve said.
" What about the core?" Clint asked.
" I'll protect it. It's my job." Wanda said.
Clint nodded then looked at the two Widows.
" Romanoffs." Clint said.
Then those three started to run back to the edge of the city.
They saw a car with the keys still in it and jumped in.
" I know what I need to do. The dinning room. If I knock that east wall, it'd make a nice work space for Laura huh? Put your some baffling. She can't hear the kids running around. What do you think?" Clint asked.
" You guys could always eat in the kitchen anyways." Nat said.
" No one eats in a dinning room." Clint agreed as they came to a stop.
They heard a the Hulk roar. Kai looked at Nat nervously.
" We don't have much time." Clint told Nat noticing Kai's look.
" Then get your ass on a boat. Kai you too." Nat looked between them.
" Natty-" Kai started.
" Go." Nat told her before running off towards the Hulk.
Kai sighed and her and Clint head for a lifeboat. Just as they got on they heard a woman crying that her son was still somewhere. Kai looked and saw a little boy in the ruble.
" There." Kai said and ran of the boat.
Clint followed her.
" Hey come on let's go." Kai coaxed him out of his hiding spot.
Clint picked him up and they started back to the boat when they saw Ultron in a jet firing at them.
Clint turned to save the kid and Kai cradled the kids head for extra protection. But there was no impact. Kai looked up and saw a car blocking them and a bloody Pietro standing next to it.
" What you didn't see that coming?" Pietro asked before falling limp to the ground.
Steve joined them and looked down at Pietro. Clint handed Kai the kid and him and Steve picked up Pietro. They all loaded onto the boat. Kai handed the kid off to his mom, and then fell into the nearest seat. She watched as the rock started to fall then blow up. All the remains falling into the sea.
Kai hoped that Nat was safe. And that everyone else was too. She didn't get to think to much about it because her eyes inventorially closed and she passed out from exhaustion.

Kai and Wanda walked around the new Avengers Compound. They were heading for training with Steve and Nat. This would be the last training session before Kai would head back to school.
" Are you sure you want to go back to school?" Wanda asked.
" Why, are you going to miss me?" Kai teased.
" Well, you are the only one around here that knows how to have any fun." Wanda said.
Kai chuckled and nodded.
" Don't worry, I'm sure there will be plenty of trouble to get into while I'm gone." Kai told her.
" I am going to miss you." Wanda said.
" I'll miss you too, but hey once you start on missions you won't even notice I'm gone. And I'll be back before you know it." Kai assured her.
" If Harry or anyone else for that matter gives you trouble, write to me and I'll teach them a lesson." Wanda told her.
" I'll keep that in mind." Kai chuckled.
Suddenly Wanda hugged her. Kai hugged back instantly.
" I won't be gone forever." Kai told her.
" I know, I just want to lose anyone else." Wanda said.
" You won't. I'm immortal, I can't die." Kai teased.
Wanda chuckled and nodded as she pulled away.
" Now come on let's get to training, so I can watch you beat Sam's ass." Kai smirked.
Wanda matched her smirked and they continued walking to the training room.
