Logan sits on the curb of the street. Expecting Johnny to call the police. Logan loves a good police chase.
Logan hears footsteps behind her and she turns around.
"Hey Johnny. Call the police yet?" Logan asks.
"I'm not gonna call the police. You beat my ass fair and square." Johnny says. "Where'd you learn the karate?"
"You knew what that was?" Logan asks, surprised. "My father taught me."
"Would you be interested in joining my dojo?" Johnny asks. "You'd be my second student."
"Sure. Sounds fun." Logan says. "How much money you need?"
"50 bucks an hour." Johnny says.
"Ok. When do we start?" Logan asks.
"We start on Monday. That gives you two days to get ready." Johnny says. "Mini Mall. 9 am." Johnny walks away.

The next morning, Logan starts riding the skateboard that she found in the dumpster to the interview of her new job at Larusso Auto Group.
Logan walks in wearing a black t-shirt and some old jeans.
"Hi! Are you Logan?" A brunette woman asks.
"Yeah I'm here for the interview." Logan says.
"Follow me to my office." The woman says. Logan follows her and sits down.
"So, I'm Amanda, the assistant CEO." The woman says.
"I'm Logan. It's nice to meet you." Logan says.
"Let's get started right away then!" Amanda says. "So, why do you want this job?"
"Well, I want the experience of working. You know? I want to learn about how working is." Logan says. Of course that's a complete lie.
"That's great!" Amanda says. "How are you helping Larusso Auto Group?"
"Well I think I'm a hard worker and I want to help in any way I can." Logan says. Again, lying.
"Logan, you're hired!" Amanda says. She hands her a shirt. "You can start tomorrow."
"Actually, can I start right now?" Logan asks. "I uh. Really want the experience."
"Oh umm. Sure." Amanda says. "Can you please go pop some of the popcorn?"
"Yes of course." Logan says. She walks over to the popcorn machine but she bumps into someone.
"Oh! I'm sorry. Are you ok?" A boy asks. He has longer brownish blond hair.
"Y-yeah." Logan says. They lock eyes. "Oh um, I'm Logan."
"Hi. I'm Robby. You new here?" he asks.
"Yeah." Logan says.
"Same." Robby says. He smiles.
"Hey new kid!" Louie asks. Robby looks at him.
"Yeah?" Robby asks. "Be right back." He says to Logan. He walks over to Louie.
Logan smiles and goes and pops some popcorn.
A car engine roars. Robby is in the car and Daniel Larusso starts yelling.
Robby runs out and Louie starts laughing. Daniel runs after Robby.
"Hey! Stop laughing!" Logan yells at Louie.
Louie walks up to Logan. "What are you gonna do about it?"
Logans temper gives out again. She kicks Louie in the face and Louie falls to the ground. People around her gasp. Logan looks around. "Shit." She says. She drops her new Larusso shirt and sprints out.
Logan runs as far away as possible and finally gets back to Reseda. She sits down on the curb and tries to catch her breath. She goes to a bar and asks for an interview.
A few minutes later, Logan gets a job as a waiter. 9 bucks an hour. She works for a few hours and gets 80 bucks because of the tips.
That night, Logan walks back to the apartments and she sits at the wall, ready to sleep.
"Hey homeless piece of shit!" A boy yells. He chucks a can at Logan. Logan gets up.
"Don't make me kick your ass." Logan says.
The boys come up to her and start kicking her. Logan gets up and sweeps their legs. They all fall.
"I said don't make me kick your ass."
One of the boys gets up and tries to punch Logan but she kicks him in the gut. She starts walking away but then someone jumps on top of her back. They must've jumped from the second floor balcony.
Logan tumbles to the ground and whacks her head on the concrete. Her ears start ringing. The boys all get on top of her and start punching her everywhere. Logan is barely conscious.
"Hey ass wipes!!" Someone says. Logans vision gets blurry and then her eyes shut.

Logan wakes up the next morning at 11:30 in the morning. She groans. Everything hurts. She has ice packs all over her body. Her right eye is swollen shut.
"You want eggs for breakfast?" Someone asks.
"What?" Logan groans. She sees Johnny in the kitchen.
"I said do you want eggs for breakfast?" Johnny says again.
"Yeah sure." Logan says. "What time is it?"
"11:30." Johnny says.
"Shit!" Logan yells. She gets up. She feels her pockets. Her money is still there. She runs out of Johnny's house.
Logan runs to the laundromat and shoves her bloody work uniform into the washing machine. She steals someone else's shirt out of one of the machines and puts it on.
Logan has to be at work by 12:30. At this time, its 12:00 already. Logan shoves her clothes in the dryer and turns it on immediately. She looks around the laundromat and sees one of the boys that beat her up last night. She gets low and hides behind the dryer.
"No Logan. Don't be a pussy." Logan says to herself. She stands up and walks over to the boy. "Morning shithead." She says. She punches him in the face and then kicks him in the face. The boy is out cold.
Logan smiles and walks to the dryer. She opens it and feels her clothing. Its damp. Logan sighs. "It'll have to do for now."
Logan starts running to work and she puts on her uniform. She gets to work.
