My plan to talk to Veronica didn't work whatsoever. It just made mine and Veronicas occatinal bickering start back up.
"Welcome to the inaugural meeting of the Swords and Serpents Club." I heard Jugheads voice coming from an empty classroom.
Why are the serpants at school when they could leave? I would have thought they would be excited to put on normal clothes.
"Which is what, exactly?" I heard Toni ask so I started walking faster towards the class room.
"Like I told Forgarty to lure him back to dear ol' Riverdale, we are a gaming group. Sanctioned by Mr. Weatherbee, himself. Where like-minded students can meet and concoct. World-building, role playing scenarios, inhabiting fantastical heroes and dispatching mythological creatures." I heard Jughead answer as I approuched the class room.
In a scoff Toni asked, "No, but really?"
By now I was leaning in the door way in my short cheer uniform completely unnoticed. Now what are you up to Jughead Jones?
And why do I have the feeling that it's not a gaming club?
"It's a club, for us. A safe haven where we can be Serpents, during school hours and under evereyone's noses we're not shedding our skins. We're lying low, in the tall grass." Jughead said walking toward Toni.
I started slow clapping, "That was quite the speech, if I didn't hear it, I would think your all nerds."
"What are you doing at school so late?" Jughead asked turning to look at me.
"Oh you know just spying on after school clubs because I have nothing better to do." I shrugged standing up straight and walking towards him.
"What are you really doing Cheerleader?" Sweet Pea asked looking at me.
"Well for your information I would like to annonce that I just got the serpant dress code fixed." I smiled widly after a long conversation with Mr. Weatherbee.
"Wait so we can wear serpant Jackets?" Toni asked.
"No, but you don't have to wear these stupid uniforms." I said tugging at the neck of Toni's uniform, "And your serpant tattoo's can be shown."
I walked around each of the serpants and rolled up their sleeves to show their tattoos. But I had to roll down Sweet Pea's turtle neck for his tattoo to be shown.
Everyone thanked me and when I walked out I was met with a pissed off Veronica. I just beat her at her own game.
I smiled before skipping past the girl and giving her a wink on the way out of the building.
