TRIPLETS HOUSE 8:57PM
MATT WAS NOT HAPPY, he was sure he had never been this furious before. Sure, his fights with Nick were definitely up there, but this was something else.
He had hurt her.
His Bella.
The girl with the purest soul ever, his best friend.
And he couldn't stop her pain, he couldn't take it away from her and that just made it so much worse.
He could only hold her, while she sobbed in his arms about how much she hates boys especially Vinnie Hacker and all he could do was listen.
He felt so so helpless.
"Why me, Matt" She cried, wiping her eyes and removing herself from grip, staring up at him. "Why does she hate me that much to do that"
"She's a- excuse my language - A BITCH!" he exclaimed, making Bella laugh, immediately making him smile.
"That's true" Bella sighed, playing with her fingers in her lap. "I mean.. i was out of his league anyway" she said, more so trying to convincing herself that.
"Oh you so were" Matt scoffed as if it was obvious "I'm surprised Nick hasn't came in here to tell you "i told you so" he rolled his eyes "But honestly Bella, you deserve so much better than these silly boys, i promise"
She just scoffed "I try to tell myself that all the time" she sighed and Matt nodded, placing a kiss on her head as they just sat in silence in each other's arms.
She felt like such a hypocrite.
How was she here complaining about some boy in her best friends arms when she had done so much worse to him. If he ever found out, which she couldn't even think about , he would be so heartbroken.
But it had to happen one day.
And well, right now he was feeling bad for her so, why not now ?
But she couldn't, it's selfish.
Not without Chris's consent to tell him.
And just the fact she was scared shitless of his reaction.
But how much longer could she go on lying to him. The guilt was eating at her, more and more everyday.
"Matt, i have to tell you something" she started, in a quiet voice, he frowned down at her confused on what she was going to say.
"Bitch, don't just start with that and go silent" He laughed "Go on, tell me" he said smiling down at her, making her feel even worse knowing how quickly that smile will be washed off his face as soon as he hears what she's about to say.
It's now or never.
"Do you remember that night, at Aidens party and i was crying-."
"BELLA" a loud voice cut them off making them both jump, turning to look at the door where they found Chris, Nick and Amara.
It was Nick who shouted her name, of course.
"How- um- how are you feeling?" Nick asked, scratching the back of his head, acting weird.
"Fine"
"Okay can you guys leave? She was about to tell me something, for MY ears only" Matt rolled his eyes, the three teens at the bedroom door all shared looks.
"Matt, me and Amara need to show you something" Nick said walking over to his brother and picking him up while Matt protested making them all burst into laughter.
"Nick get the FUCK off me" Matt said scratching and hitting him.
"Okay Bella" Nick scoffed making them all burst into laughter again. After a few minutes of Nick trying to pull Matt away from his grip on the door frame it was just Bella and Chris left in the room.
She didn't even get to look at him before he jumped down her throat.
"The fuck were you about to tell him Bella?" Chris frowned, Bella's eyes widened.
That's why Nick was acting weird, they had heard their conversation, which made her frown back at him, getting up and walking over to him.
"Were you listening to our conversation!" She said, tapping her finger into his chest "Have your ever heard of um- PRIVACY? You're so annoying-."
"Me? You were about to tell him! Without even talking to me about it first? That's fucked up!"
"He's going to find out eventually!" she yelled back "it might as well be now, i need to get it off my chest Chris, it's so hard lying to him"
"You've had no problem lying about for the past few weeks? What, now Vinnie has fucked you over, you want to fuck me over too?" Chris scoffed, watching Bella's face drop, immediately regretting his choice of words.
"You're such an asshole! It's YOUR fault Chris! It's all your fault! If you hadn't messed me around for so long i wouldn't have gone looking for Vinnie as a distraction!" She said shoving his chest. "If you had just made it clear to olivia you didn't fucking like i wouldn't of been hurt in the process! And if youd just NEVER kissed me that night, it would of all been avoided!" She said, still pushing him, tears rolling down her cheeks. "It's your fault Chris" she sobbed. "It's all you"
He grabbed her hands, stopping her from hitting his chest, and just pulled her into a hug, much to her dismay but it didn't take her long to relax and hug him back.
"I let you in everytime" She said into chest "I forgive you everytime and i don't even know why i allow myself too, but i just do. And you take it for granted"
"I know"
"You take me for granted"
"I know" he repeated, kissing her temple and cheek a few times and then placing his head in her neck whispering "im so sorry" over and over again.
"I keep hurting you, baby" he whispered, knowing she deserved so much better, and wanting nothing more to let her go, but he couldn't.
No matter how much he tried.
