"Good morning, Angel." Finn uttered as Lexi began to stir from her sleep. Lexi let out a soft grumble in response as she rolled over. As Finn placed an unknown object onto the nightstand, the noise caused Lexi to waken further, her eyes opening slightly. Finn then opened the curtains, letting in the all of natural light from the early morning. Lexi let out an ungodly hiss as she swiftly pulled the covers of her face so that no part of her body was visible to the light. "And I thought I was the vampire in this relationship." Finn teased as he tried to uncover Lexi's face.
"It's too early" Lexi groaned as she tightened her hold on the sheets to prevent Finn from making her face visible to the outside world.
"Too early for waffles?" Finn taunted. Lexi instantly perked up at his words. Once Lexi uncovered her face from the blankets she spoke.
"Waffles?" Lexi skepticized as she narrowed her eyes at Finn who was now hovering above her.
"Yes" Finn said, tilting his head towards the nightstand as he fixed up the parts of Lexi's hair that had been messed up when she was burying herself under the sheets. Lexi followed Finn's gesture causing her eyes to land on the tray which Finn had previously placed on the nightstand.
WAFFLES
Lexi then sat up, her eyes still on the plate whilst Finn stood off the bed. As Finn placed the tray over Lexi's lap, Lexi ran her fingers down his jaw before pressing their lips together.
"Thank you" Lexi whispered as she pulled away. Finn nodded in acknowledgement before moving to lie next to her.

"Right this way" The waitress said as she grabbed two menus and began to lead Kai and Lexi to one of the booths at the back of the grill. After having lived together for almost 2 months, Kai was finally taking Lexi on a date.
"Thank you" Lexi said as the lady placed the menus onto the table before smiling and walking away. Kai, who had been silent since they left the mansion, remained quiet as he gestured for Lexi to sit on one side of the booth. Once Lexi was seated, Kai instantly slid into the same side of the booth as her. "Sitting on the same side kind of defeats the purpose of getting a booth" Lexi teased as she moved over so that Kai could have more room.
"I know" Kai chirped as he handed her a menu.
"So he does speak." Lexi mocked.
"I was thinking earlier." Kai said, trying to excuse his silence on the drive.
"About?" Lexi prompted.
"Something." Kai alluded as he rested his hand on Lexi's thigh. Before Lexi could reply she flinched under Kai's hand, the sharp sensation of Kai siphoning from her burning through her veins for a short moment. Once Lexi pieced together what had happened, she looked up at Kai, confused. "Do you trust me?" Kai asked, not giving Lexi enough time to question him.
"Of course."
"Then that will make sense later." Kai reassured.
ooooooooooookay?
Kai and Lexi then fell into a stream of sweet conversation once the same waitress took their orders. After a while, the waitress returned with their meals.
"Thank you" Lexi uttered as the waitress placed down each of their orders. Once the waitress was gone, Lexi, as is on a default setting, placed a few fries into her mouth. As Lexi continued eating, she felt Kai's hand which had been resting on her thigh beginning to move higher. In response, Lexi wriggled her legs, trying to shake off Kai's movements. Kai however, moved his hand to cup the inside of Lexi's thigh. Lexi, not wanting to give Kai the reaction he was so clearly searching for, distracted herself with the food in front of her.
Kai and Lexi then continued talking, Lexi trying to ignore the placement of Kai's hand, Kai doing everything possible to stimulate any sort of reaction from her.
Reasons that I regret wearing a skirt:

As Lexi and Kai's conversation continued, Kai trailed his hand even further up Lexi's leg until he was met with the seam of Lexi's underwear. Lexi shifted uncomfortably as she took note of how many people were currently around them. Whilst Lexi was distracted with her counting, Kai slowly pushed aside the fabric and entered one of his fingers causing Lexi to cross her legs in an attempt to eliminate Kai's intrusion. As Lexi's eyes had been focussed on her plate and the people in front of her since Kai had begun teasing her, Lexi had to turn her head in order to look at Kai who was sitting next to her...
or who was meant to be sitting next to her.
As soon as Lexi's eyes raised to where Kai was meant to be sitting, her expression dropped.
Where the fuck is he?
"Over here" Kai called as he watched her from across the table. Noticing Lexi's confusion in relation to his change of position, Kai clarified, "Sorry, tough choice between being close to you and watching you whilst- you know."

As Lexi was consumed with confusion, her gaze dropped to see that Kai's hand wasn't there although she could feel it... she could definitely feel it. Lexi's mind, still clouded by the pleasure of Kai's magical movements, began to think over-

As Lexi began to process the thought, Kai added another finger which he then curled perfectly causing Lexi's mind to stutter whilst a quite moan slipped from her lips making her cover her mouth with her hand for a short moment. The gesture triggered a smug smirk to overtake Kai's lips as he continued eating his fries.
Lexi narrowed her eyes at him as he watched her with nothing but amusement and admiration. Trying to prompt a louder reaction from Lexi, Kai continued to test her response to different movements. Lexi, determined to ruin Kai's experiment, tried to distract herself from Kai actions by focussing her gaze on Kai as she observed every detail of him.
The only conclusion Lexi managed to come to was that Kai eating is one of the sexiest things she has ever witnessed.
Safe to say this did not do well for her frustration.
Deciding to try a different approach, Lexi began to rack her brain for any spell to over power Kai's. This would have been a good plan if her mind was able to think of something other than Kai taking over the table they were currently sitting at.
Okay,
I give up.
Once Lexi gave into Kai's spell, she dug her nails into the palms of her hands whilst her teeth rested into her lower lip. As Kai quickened his movements, Lexi couldn't stop her thighs from trembling as she attempted to control the muffled whimpers threatening to escape her sealed lips.
"You know what I find interesting about places like this?" Kai asked rhetorically as he gestured around them with a half-eaten fry. "All of the booths towards the back can go so unnoticed, you know? Someone could be- I don't know- getting fucked back here" Kai mocked, "And no one would notice."
And this smug fucker still believes he's getting laid.
JUST YOU WAIT-
"Is that why you chose to come here?" Lexi asked through her somewhat grit teeth whilst her nails began to dig painfully hard into the palms of her hands.
"Pretty much" Kai teased. "Places like this don't exactly scream romance. Plus a little birdy told me that you used to like coming here with Damien, Stefano and Brenda."
Little birdy?

I'm going to assume he is referring to Kol, Damon, Stefan, and Bonnie.
As Kai's movements quickened to an inhuman speed, Lexi closed her eyes and tried to clench her thighs together even more.
"Aw, come on" Kai started, "Not even going to keep eye contact whilst you finish."
"I am not giving you that satisfaction" Lexi whispered before her teeth dug even further into her bottom lip, unintentionally drawing blood. As Lexi eyes momentarily re-opened, she saw Kai who appeared to be entranced.
What is this man-
Before Lexi could continue her trail of thought, the metallic taste of the blood from her lip began to seep into her mouth. Lexi then noticed how Kai's eyes were trained on the area of her lip where Lexi could only assume the blood was coming from.
oh this fucker just levelled the playing field.
Lexi instantly responded to the revelation by chanting the short lyrics of a spell which replicated the wound Kai had left before he had healed her when re-activating the bond. As Kai's eyes shifted to the new injury, his mouth ran dry causing his smug composure to falter.
Due to the depth of Kai's bite, it did not take long for a large droplet of blood to run down Lexi's throat resulting in the dark veins under Kai's eyes to flicker through. Kai's eyes then began to flutter open and closed whilst his control over his eyes began to withdraw.
"Not fair" Kai muttered.
"Very fair" Lexi countered, trying to hide how her spell had only made her more stimulated. Kai's mouth twitched slightly as his fangs threatened to extend.
"Fuck this" Kai mumbled as he stood up grabbed Lexi's wrist before pulling her towards the exit, ignoring their left over food, the cheque, and their waitress who was trying to stop them from leaving. As soon as they were outside, Kai tightly gripped her waist before vamp speeding home.
I am really good at this whole mate bond thing.
