Captain: Are you sure about this Blake? We're sailing into Atlas military territory
Blake: Please. A little girl's life is at stake here. If we leave her at that military outpost, who knows what the Atlas military will do to her next
The Captain of the Vale cruise said nothing for a few moments before speaking again.
Captain: Alright then. I'll take you all to this military outpost to save this girl
Nora: Yes!!
Captain: However! There's no guarantee that there will be no combat. You guys better be prepared to fight if you want to make it out of there alive

The Captain then turned to his crew

Onboard Illustrious' production ship, I oversaw the aerial and naval bombardment of the outpost while we sailed closer towards it. The plan is that we first attack the military outpost to wipe out all, or at least most of the gun installations on the outpost so that our production ships can sail closer to the outpost without much interruption. Once we're close enough, my shipgirls will dismantle their production ships and summon their riggings for them to fight with me on land. After we've rescued Eleanor, we'll summon our production ships again and leave this outpost. Nearby, Valiant's production ship fired another salvo at the outpost while more planes took off from Illustrious' production ship
Illustrious: Evan sama! My planes didn't find any more gun installations
Evan: Okay but continue bombarding the outpost in case there are hidden gun installations
Just as I said that, a dust powered round came from the outpost and hit illustrious' production ship
Evan: Like just now
Valiant's production ship fired another salvo and scored hits on the place where the round came from. a few minutes later, the communicator aboard illustrious' production ship received an incoming transmission
Valiant (transmission): My king! Are you alright
Evan: Yes. I am okay
Valiant: Don't worry. I took care of the gun installation already
Evan: I saw that. Good job Valiant
I ended the transmission as illustrious sent more planes to attack the outpost while we steamed closer towards it
We attacked the outpost as we steamed closer towards it until we reached a point where i felt that it's time to commence the 2nd phase of the mission
Evan: Everyone dismantle your production ships and summon your riggings!! It's time to commence phase 2 of the operation
I spoke to all of my shipgirls using the communicator aboard illustrious production ship
Evan's shipgirls except for illustrious (transmission): Ryokai/Roger!
Illustrious: Should I do it now?
Evan: Not yet. I need to get ready first
Illustrious nodded and I left the bridge to go to the Commander's Quarters. Once inside I put on a bulletproof vest and some leg armor before going back to the bridge. i may be able to tank offensive magic due to my high Resistance, it is offset by my low defence making me unable to tank physical attacks hence the bulletproof vest
Evan: I'm ready, illustrious. You can start dismantling your production ship now
I was about to leave and go to the flight deck to fly off either using my jet caliber or Mir when Illustrious stopped me
Illustrious: Wait!

Illustrious: I have a special request Evan sama

Illustrious and I are standing on the edge of the flight deck holding each other's hands. The others have finished dismantling their production ships and are now sailing towards the outpost

The cold, silent winds of the night blew against us, trying to blow off Illustrious' summer lady hat and my white peaked cap. I felt illustrious gripping my hand tighter to endure the cold

The sea was quiet as the others have finished dismantling their ships and have already left
Illustrious: I wish I could do this with you longer Evan sama. However, we're on a mission so there's no more time to waste. Let's do it and leave before the environment here becomes too cold and silent for your warmth to overcome

Illustrious giggled before closing her eyes and her production ship began to glow blue

With Mir on my shoulder as usual, the two of us prepared to jump into the sea

Illustrious and I ran and jumped off the flight deck of Illustrious' production ship, still grabbing onto each others hands before a swordfish torpedo bomber took off from it just before the production ship dismantled / transformed / deconstructed / exploded / whatever you want to call it, into wisdom cubes. As I was falling into the sea, I felt my body being held in a bridal position and I saw illustrious, with her riggings active, holding me in a bridal position

The swordfish torpedo bomber flew over the outpost and dropped a few bombs on it before becoming a streak of light that came back to illustrious.
Illustrious: Looks like I overdid it a little. Consider this my payment to the military outpost for damaging my production ship just now
Evan: Ironwood is not going to be happy about that
Illustrious giggled and I chuckled in response before we heard the sound of aircraft approaching

I exclaimed, trying to warn illustrious just as machine gun fire splattered the water surrounding us, making our clothes wet in the process. The two of us angrily glared at the Atlas airships in response
Illustrious: How rude. Attacking a lady like that
Streaks of light flew out from illustrious' flight deck as she launched her aircraft to combat the attacking Atlas airships. The lights turned into seafires and seafangs that engaged the Atlas airships, downing most of them and scaring the rest off
Illustrious: Hmph. Those Atlas brutes don't know how to properly treat a lady
Evan: Yes. For now, let's move before we become sitting ducks. Full steam ahead!!
With Illustrious carrying me in a bridal position with her riggings active, we move towards the outpost while shooting down Atlas airships attacking us along the way
Illustrious: Evan sama. The others are waiting for us over there!
I felt a sudden jerk as illustrious used her remaining power to sail at full speed before jumping up and landing on the coastline of the outpost

Evan: Phase 1 complete. Illustrious you can put me down now
Illustrious slowly put me down and I looked at the outpost right in front of us
Glorious: Evan, before we continue the operation we have some "uninvited guests"

Glorious gestured her right arm towards Lexington and I saw Victoria, Clementine, and Calysta with her
