Rose's pov
Chloe snitched on me so now I have to clean the dishes which is her chore. A loud sigh came out of my mouth, and started on the dishes. "Lizzie!" I suddenly shout because...I don't know. "She's not here" mom comes out of no where, scaring the Holy Ghost out of me.
"I thought since she's now living here, she wouldn't be always gone" I mumble as I clean a plate. We literally have a dishwasher. Why am I killing myself?
"She has a movie to film" She says walking away. I roll my eyes and look out the window that's above the sink. I see Peter and Shawn walking up the path. We upgraded our security because of something.
I don't really know what happened but last year, someone was stalking mom or something. I don't know. There's now a gate with a code.
The boys know the code, I know it, my annoying sister knows it and Lizzie of course. Then a couple more people. Close people. Like Florence and some others. Doesn't matter.
"The boys are here" I dry my hands on the towel and run to the door to greet them. We've all gotten close. They're like my older brothers. Shawn actually coaches my soccer team. Well, helps the coach, but still a coach.
I open the door just as Peter was about to knock. "Hello boys" I always say that when they come over. They hate it.
"Shut up kid" Peter says patting my head and walking inside. "Hey kid" Shawn says nicely. I smile at him and point upstairs. "Chloe's room" they nod and run up the stairs.
I go back to cleaning the dishes. I soon finished so I went out in the back to practice soccer. We have a big backyard so there's a pool and more space for some soccer nets.
I'm the goalie and I actually enjoy it. Sometimes there's not much going on since all the exciting stuff is on the other side of the field but that's okay. I like being goalie since I get a different colour jersey as everyone else and I get these cool gloves that I occasionally hit my sister with when she's being annoying.
But today I'm being a forward.
Chloe's pov
"No way! That's so funny" I laugh as I roll around on my bed. "Babe stop. It's really not that funny" Emma tries to hold me down but I keep squirming.
"Chloe Elizabeth Quinn Johansson! Stop moving so I can get cuddles" Emma pouts making me stop instantly. "Sorry. But it's just so funny" I lay on the bed with her on top of me.
"So" Emma intertwines our hands. I look down at her. "So?" I don't know what's happening. "You going to Charli's party tomorrow?" Ah, I actually knew this was coming.
"Yes, are you?" I use my free hand to comb her hair and massage her scalp. She lets out a soft moan. I smirk and continue.
"You see, I don't really like Charli but she invited me and she already payed for the food so it would be rude to decline now" of course she would say something like this. It's because of the food. Always about the food.
"Haha okay" I continue massaging her scalp and she let out another moan but a little louder. "Eww god no" I hear Peter's voice from outside my door.
I don't think Emma knows he was there so I continued and she let another moan. "Nah I'm leaving" that was Shawn. "Can you get off me for a second?" I ask Emma. She sighs and gets off.
I go and open the door to see the boys about to leave. "Where are you going?" I ask making them turn around and covering their eyes with their hands. I sigh and grab their hands lowering them.
But their eyes are still closed. "Idiots. Open your eyes" I slap the back of their heads. "Ouch" the both say finally opening their eyes.
"How did you get dressed so fast?" The fuck? "I was always dressed idiots" I walk back in my room and lay down on the bed. Emma immediately cuddles me again.
I do what I was doing before, massaging her scalp. She let our another soft moan and the boys eyes went wide. "So that's what you guys were doing" Shawn says making Peter slaps his arm.
"What did you think we were doing?" Emma ask the boys. "Nothing!" I roll my eyes. "I'm not that stupid. Rose is literally outside in the back, mom is somewhere in the house and Lizzie will be coming anytime soon" they nod and sit down on the bed.
"Besides, she would be much louder if-" "stop! Right now you little bitch" she slaps my stomach. "Wait, since when do you have abs?" Abs lifts my shirt up, revealing my lower half of my stomach. "Are we going to ignore that she just called her girlfriend a bitch?" Shawn ask.
"Um since Sebby and Mackie made me go to the gym with them" We all ignore him and I just know that Peter is rolling his eyes right now. "Please, I've had abs since day one" he shows us his muscles and everyone looked at him.
Who asked? Like why is he talking? "Anyways, are you guys going to Rose's soccer game?" Shawn ask turning my tv on. He looked through Netflix and chose the new season of Stranger Things.
"Yeah. She's paying me $50 just to go and watch her. I never been so I guess it's time" I answer his question. "I want to come" Emma gets up, which made me groan since she used her elbows and they were digging into my side.
"Sorry" she kisses my cheek. I smile in appreciation. "Peter, you in?" Emma ask going to my snack drawer to get some stuff. "Can't. My sister is making me go shopping with her" we all laugh.
It's funny because he always goes. He could easily just say no but he says yes all the time. I think he secretly likes it.
Emma came back with some chips in her hand and started to eat it. "What times the game?" She ask with her mouth full. "Eww and it's at 5" I look at my watch. It's only 3 so we have time.
We then watch the show because we're bored but I can't stop hearing people laughing out back. I swear to god if Rose is having fun destroying my stuff, it will be then end of that Smurf.
I get up and look outside my window. I see Rose playing with Lizzie and mom is the goalie. "Watch" I jump since Shawn being behind me all of the sudden. "Watch what?" He points to Rose.
I watch her every move. "Damn! She really broke moms legs" now everyone is behind me. Emma has her arms wrapped around my waist and looking over my shoulder.
"I taught her that move" Shawn says proudly. Okay? Who asked? He opens my window and shouts. "You better use that in todays game or no ice cream" apparently he buys everyone ice cream after their games. Which is nice but he will be broke soon.
She does a thumbs up and continues. "Well kids, shall we go and see what the Johansson's have for food downstairs?" Shawn ask while walking out the door. "He's eating all our food I swear" I follow him with the two others behind me.
"At least he's buying you some more" Emma tells me as she jumps on my back. I knew this was coming so I was ready. We walked to the kitchen and Shawn already started his food.
I swear this man eats for a whole zoo. We just sit there watching his every move. He already knows where everything is so it's easy for him. Even I don't know where everything is and I live here.
"Chloe! Your coming to my game. Shawn stop eating. Hi Peter. How's your family? Good? That's good. Oh and Emma, your going to have to tell my sister soon" Rose rambles obviously not realizing what she said.
I felt Emma tense up a little beside me. "Tell me what?" I look over at her. She's looking anywhere but me right now. "Um...I need to change" Rose runs up the stairs and slams her door.
"She was going to find out sooner or later" Peter speaks. The fuck is going on? "Hey kids. Chloe get ready, we're leaving soon" mom says taking her shoes off.
Lizzie is behind her and she tickles her side. Wrong move. "You better run" mom says as Lizzie runs away. Too where? I don't know.
"Um I need to go" Peter awkwardly walks to the door and leaves. "Okay?" I'm so confused. "Yeah, I should get going" Shawn says after he left. "Okay, see you later then" I frown.
After he left, I pulled Emma to the living room and sat her on the couch. I stood in front of her, crossing my arms, looking for an explanation.
"What's up?" She ask like there's nothing happened. "What does Rose mean by that?" I ask tapping my foot on the floor. "Mean by what?" I sigh. Maybe it's nothing special but the way Peter said that I was going to find out sooner or later...that's what scares me.
"Look, what Rose and Peter said...it's not a big deal" she leans back on the couch. "Then what is it?" She's not even looking at me. "Um..."
