Walking through the streets of Trost You found yourself zoning out as memories flashed across your sight
Building you hadn't seen in years covered Trost like a blanket

You'd been in the underground for about a month now
Zel and Liam trained you in the ways of assassination ever since your first mission
Right now you were walking down a hall of a rich man's house or the equivalent of rich here
Your right sleeve which Zel had redesigned dragged across the floor with a white scythe blade poking out
Arriving at your destination you leaned against the wall staring at a shut door
You waited for Zel and Liam to signal you
When the door burst open as really ugly fat man came running out in his underwear
Before he could notice you standing there as he ran from his room, you swing your scythe across his neck

Zel: you need to be more careful what if a guard heard his head fall
(Y/n): we were payed to kill him nows he's dead
Entering the room you look at the bed where a bloody girl is lead her face completely swollen
Liam: what a bastard he kidnapped girls then used them for fun
Zel: we should get out of here you leave our calling card

Zel and Liam climbed out a window leaving you alone inside
Opening your coat you pull out a black brush
Painting a man in a black coat on the wall
Finishing the drawing you head for the window

Stopping you look at the bed where the girl was laying

She wouldn't be able to see you face case you had your hood up so it was fine

She slightly nodded

Moving her lips she let out a creaky raspy reply

Placing your scythe on your back you pick the girl up bridal style and head for the window
Climbing out you find Zel and Liam waiting for you

Liam: and she has so many diseases it won't matter
Liam pulled out a book
Liam: that man liked injecting the girls and seeing what happens he even kept a journal

(Y/n): some place
Liam: come on you can't be serious
(Y/n): your doing this to get a better life why shouldn't she have that chance
Zel: fine but your responsible for her

The three of you began running across the rooftops heading back home
It didn't take long even with you carrying the girl
Zel: she's gonna sleep downstairs

Placing her on a couch in the middle of the factory floor you head to Liam

(Y/n): I need the book it has her illness in it

Zel: I'm going to go tell our buyer the jobs done don't do anything stupid while I'm gone
Taking the book from Liam you ignore Zel as he watches you lean above the girl

The girl opened her eyes and tried to answer you

She nodded
Walking away you head to the make shift kitchen Liam had made
Grabbing a cup of water you offer it to the girl
She tries taking it but can't get a proper hold on it
(Y/n): open your mouth
She obeyed, allowing you to carefully waterfall the drink into her mouth

(Y/n): ok what's your name?
Girl: Lana
Having her name you open the book and begin Flipping through the pages looking for her details
You found them on the last page and they were very detailed with everything about her physical and mental
It seems she was only a year older then you
You then write down the medicines you will need
(Y/n): I know where to get the cures for this, I'll be back
Placing the book next to her head you begin walking away
Lana: wait what's your name?
(Y/n): I can't tell you that it's a rule as long as I wear this coat
Lana: then why are you doing this?
(Y/n): cause our goal is to get a better life so why not allow others to have one as well
Liam: yeah we meant just us not slave girls

Leaving the factory you head for one of the pillers that held up the great stony ceiling
Not long ago you had used your power to dig a tunnel to the surface one that only you could open
Climbing inside you closed it behind you then started heading out into sunlight
Once outside you headed straight for Trost where the Warriors are
Arriving at the refugee camp you search for the three finding them standing around beds talking

They all jumped and turned to you

Bertholdt: it's definitely him
Reiner: what are you wearing?
(Y/n): nothing now I need your assistance
Annie: you've been gone a month You just can't come back and ask us to do things
(Y/n): I need you to get me these medicines
You pass Reiner the piece of paper you had written on
Reiner: these are easy to get why do you need us
(Y/n): I need to steal them I have no money to buy them
Annie: are you listening to me, we aren't your slaves
(Y/n): how long do you think it will take I need them as fast as possible and can't steal them myself
Reiner: it won't take long
(Y/n): I will wait round here, don't say my name when you come back
Bertholdt: um ok why?
(Y/n): I can't tell you
Reiner: fine
Reiner grabbed Annie and Bertholdt dragging them away
Not wanting any soldier to see you
You begin climbing the rafters hiding in the darkness till the three Warriors return
It only took about a hour for them to return and begin looking for you
Dropping behind them you grab the bag with the medicine
(Y/n): I must be going now
Reiner: (y/n) wait
(Y/n): why
Reiner: we've learnt that the Royal family is in hiding the king is a fake
(Y/n): that will come in handy goodbye
Walking away you leave the three standing there and head back to your secret tunnel
Returning back to the underground you go straight to the factory
Where Zel has returned with the payment from the job
Zel: there you are where were you
(Y/n): shopping
You shake the bag with the medication as you walk to Lana
(Y/n): take these
You begin setting up for her to take the medication
Lana: thank you
Once she takes the medication she seems to let out a silent sigh of relief
Zel: I guess we have to handle this now
Liam: who are you
Lana: Lana Winters
Your body stiffened at her surname
Zel: why were you in that house
Lana: last month my father was killed and without his money my mum sold me off to keep living herself
Zel: how'd he die?
Lana: some person wearing a chain killed him in the streets from what I heard
Zel turned towards you not saying anything

Lana: no I don't
Zel: i know what your thinking and its no

Zel: you want her to join us don't you
(Y/n): wouldn't it make sense to increase our numbers
Liam: he isn't wrong also it will be nice to have a girl around there's so much masculinity here

You'd made them both titan skin weapons but wouldn't let them know how you got them

Zel: Fine Lana Winters would you like to join us the black coats

The two boys began taking their coats off to relax

Zel walked over to bucket where a spare coat was stored incase one of you ruined yours
Zel: I'll have to make more now, here catch
Zel threw the coat at Lana

Walking off you entered the bathroom

Lana: so what's up with him he doesn't seem to trust me after saving me

As you listend from inside the bathroom you cut yourself and create a bow and quiver full of arrows
Once done you leave the bathroom passing Lana the quiver and bow

Zel: yes here's your share
Zel through a coin bag at you, which you caught in your right hand
Your chains rattled as you did so
Lana: what was that noise
Liam: probably something in the factory this place is old
Zel: do you think you can walk Lana?
Lana: maybe in a few hours
Zel: then we'll give you the tour later
(Y/n): I'm going to bed
Zel: actually (y/n) I want to talk to you
(Y/n): ok
Zel lead you upstairs to a office he uses to keep track of all the contracts

You closed the door behind you locking it

Zel: do you remember the man you killed that lead to you joining us

Zel rushed you grabbing your coats front
Zel: why would you bring her here and have her join us when you killed her father
(Y/n): I didn't know who she was and she's one of us now it doesn't matter
Zel ripped you hood down so he could look into your eyes

Moving to the door you unlock it and head back downstairs
Liam: what was that about?

Lana was watching you not blinking she seemed to be trying to burn your face into her mind
(Y/n): Zel pulled it down to talk to me he couldn't see my eyes
Lana: so when can I start working?
Liam: once we get a grasp of your skills we are assassins, we can't let someone with no training out on a mission
Lana: I see, how long did it take (y/n) to be allowed
Liam: he's a special case we found him when he killed someone
Zel walking down behind you slapped Liams head
Zel: don't talk about (y/n) past without permission
Liam seemed to have no idea that you were the one who killed Lana's dad as he looked confused by Zel hitting him
(Y/n): you should rest, in four hours take more medication the same amount as earlier
For the next week Lana joined you in training as she recovered from her illness
Everyday she grew stronger and stronger showing immense skill in stealth
Along with growing stronger everyday she tried getting you to take your coat off at least twice a day
Ever since Zel ordered you to hide what you did, you hadn't taken your coat off once around her
Lana would follow you around talking nearly none stop as you'd just sit there Silently
She didn't seem to mind you not replying cause she kept talking as you just stared at her
Lana: so (y/n) why is your sleeve so big?
Lana leaned down and went to pull your sleeve up
Grabbing her wrist you stare into her eyes

Lana: oh sorry I didn't know, you don't tell me about yourself
(Y/n): what's there to say I'm (y/n) Tybur a human male assassin
Lana: that's the first time you've said your surname
(Y/n): is it?
Lana: yes
(Y/n): interesting
You let go of Lana's wrist and scratch your chin
Lana: why are you a assassin?
(Y/n): I'm using our clients to learn about some people I must find
Ever since joining the group you'd been investing all your rich clients trying to find any links to the royal family be it by blood or money
You'd found a few leads that all led to dead ends
Lana: is it your family?
(Y/n): what do you mean?
Lana: are you looking for your family?
(Y/n): I don't have a family why would I look for one now
Lana: cause everyone needs people to care about, ever since joining the blacks coats I've seen you all as my family
(Y/n): why?
Lana: cause I have no one else to care about we have bonds stronger then any other
(Y/n): bonds like links in a chain?
Lana: yes and together we make one big chain each of us being a link in this family
(Y/n): interesting
Standing up you walk away from Lana
Lana: where are you going?
(Y/n): to make my links
Heading into your bedroom you pull your chain out your sleeve
(Y/n): each family member is a link in the chain of freindship and family
You begin engraving a name into each link
Zel, Liam, Lana
(Y/n): only the most important will join my chain of life
