For the last 36 hours you've been training non stop, your shirt has been completely ruined by the amount of sweat coming off you
In this time you haven't said a single word to any of the other Warriors though a few of them were in the middle of sitting and watching you right now
As you passed them a few words could be made out
Pieck: you sure you'll be able to control (y/n) he has problems with who gives him orders
Marcel: it will be fine Magath has named me leader of this mission
Reiner: this mission should be easy get in get out and destroy any devil's in our way
Bertholdt: we should be careful I've spoken to (y/n) about the island and he believes they have the best anti titan weapons in the world
Reiner: first off thats insane their on a island where can they get the materials for stuff like that, second why were you and (y/n) talking about that
Bertholdt: (y/n) likes learning things about the world and we just got on the topic
Continuing your training you ran out of ear shot from the others
You weren't really paying attention to your training anymore as today was the day you will be sent to the island the only thing you needed was Magath to come grab you
Pieck: (y/n) come here!
Turning your head you see Pieck waving at you
(Y/n) thoughts: I should probably stop now so I don't exhaust myself for the mission
Slowing your jog to a walk you begin to make your way over to the others
(Y/n): do you need something?
Pieck: yeah we were curious have you seen Annie?
(Y/n): no not since yesterday when she came here to train on her free day
Reiner: she better not be late this mission will make us heroes
Zeke: I'm sure Annie is just off training her kick somewhere quiet
(Y/n): do you want me to go find her?
Zeke: hmm
Reiner: yeah Magath should be here soon go find her
Zeke: yes go find Annie and bring her here ill explain to magath
(Y/n): yes sir
Turning you walked towards the gate which lead to the Eldian zone
The time getting there was alot faster walking on your own feet
Guard: hey there (y/n) what can I do for you today?
(Y/n): has Annie leonhart left the camp today
The guard pulled out a document and began reading
Guard: no she hasn't
(Y/n): then I wish to enter and find her
Guard: alright just be careful
Allowing you to enter the Guard watched as you walked past
Having been allowed to read the files on the other Warriors you knew where Annie lived even if you've never been there before
As you walked straight to where Annie's house should be located the feeling of being watched followed after you like a starving dog
(Y/n): who ever you are you'll do better following me if you actually payed attention to your feet
Eldianmale: and who are you to assume I'm following you
(Y/n): I am (y/n) and I don't want any trouble as I'm not permitted to kill you
Eldianmale: oh we have a tough guy well guess what tough without any Guards around I can beat your Marleyan ass for all the shit you've put us through
Around a crowd began to form as people glared at your bandless arms
(Y/n): if you don't back off I will have no choice but to handle you
Eldianmale: try it punk I bet your just a rich boy
The man began to poke you in the chest with everyword
Eldianmale: well aren't you going to handle me
(Y/n): this is so bothersome
Grabbing his finger before it left your chest you gave it a good yank bending it backwards
Eldianmale: Aahh you little bastard!
In a fit of rage the grown man tried to slap you across the face
Bending slightly backwards you avoid his hand as it soars past your nose, before it even finished moving you move up to the man placing a uppercut to the bottom of his jaw
(Y/n): this is over I have orders to complete
Turning back in the direction of Annie's house you shove past the group of Eldians that had surrounded the fight
Behind someone tapped the man to make sure he was ok making the unconscious man's body fall to the floor
(Y/n): I should make this fast I can't be having fist fights with every drunk man I come across
Making it to the stairs that lead down to Annie's house you see Annie down below with a crying man hugging her
(Y/n): what am I looking at?
The crying man began to yell
Man: please just promise me you'll come back alive I can't lose you, I know what I did was wrong but please come back alive!
Tears began to come down Annie's face as she stared at the man
Annie: ok i promise father
The two continued to cry as they didn't want to leave the other
(Y/n): is this what family should be like caring for eachother
Inside you something yelled not to interupt but something else reminded you it was a order to bring Annie to base
From years of forced training to follow orders your body began to move on its own down the stairs to Annie and her father
Neither one noticed as you walked up to them
(Y/n): Annie I have orders to bring you to base to prepare for the mission
Annie's tears stopped as her head turned glaring at you
Annie: I'm coming I just had something important to do
Mrleonhart: hey you who are you?
(Y/n): I am (y/n) the Warhammer
Mrleonhart: do you think you could protect Annie on this mission
Annie looked at her father a look of Annoyance and understanding on her face
(Y/n): well I haven't been ordered to
Mrleonhart: please I beg you I can't lose her
Looking at the sad man's face you did something you couldn't believe
(Y/n): I promise to try and keep her safe to the best of my abilities
Mrleonhart: thank you young man
Annie: we have to go
(Y/n): yes Zeke told me to bring you to them so lets go
Turning both you and Annie left Mrleonhart on the floor he was still crying
(Y/n): he cares about you doesn't he
Annie: yes and I care about him we're the only family the other has
(Y/n): so family is meant to care for eachother
Annie looked at you clearly confused by what you mean
(Y/n) thoughts: does this mean I don't have a family as no one cares about me like that
Annie: why did you accept his request you don't do anything unless ordered to you don't even eat unless your told to
(Y/n): I'm not sure
Annie: maybe I missed judged you your not just a rich machine
(Y/n): what do you mean?
Annie: just now you seemed more human then I've ever seen
(Y/n): is that a good thing?
Annie: you'll just have to figure it out yourself
Making it to the gate Annie had to stop and fill out some documents to allow her outside the Eldian zone
Guard: that's everything your all set to go
When the two of you finally made it back to base you found Magath with a really fancy car waiting for you
Magath: (y/n) you aren't in trouble as Zeke explained why you were missing but Mrs Leonhart this is very unlike you
Annie: I apologise sir I had some family matters to attend to
Magath: that's what yesterday was for now both of you in the car It's time to leave!
Magath basically threw both you in the car with Marcel Reiner and Bertholdt
Magath: get moving and let them know to make the announcement
Driver: yes sir
The soldier driving the car grabbed a communication device form the car and spoke into it
As the car left the military base speakers that were normally used in evacuation scenarios began to screech as a woman's voice came out
Woman: greetings to all residents of Marley the military has some important news, today heading to the docks is a car filled with some of our brave Warriors who shall be going to the island of devils to end the threat once and for all
Around cheers filled the streets as people came running to find the Warriors going to the island
People cheered and waved at you They all looked like a great weight of stress had finally been removed
Reiner and Marcel began waving to the Marleyans with big grins
(Y/n): sir do we have to make such a spectacle of this
Magath: yes it's a way of increasing Morale throughout the city
(Y/n): I understand sir
To you it felt like a eternity till the car reached the docks allowing you to escape all the noise and eyes
For some reason you couldn't understand all those people looking at you with such joy and hope made your spine shiver
You'd never experienced people being glad to see you like this even Pieck didnt act like that when she saw you and she was the closest thing to a friend you had
(Y/n) thoughts: stop it (y/n) the other Warriors aren't your friends you have a mission to complete master Willy has decided you don't need friends
Magath: this ship shall take us straight to the island so i hope you have no unfinished business back home
Bertholdt: are we going to the same place as criminal Eldians
Magath: yes, now set sail!
A giant horn burst out from the ship as its engines began running leaving the mainland behind
Magath: you all have clothes prepared for you in your rooms go and get changed they were specifically chosen so that you will look like the island devil's to help your infiltration
Reiner: sir what of our arm bands
Magath: once you depart for the wall you will hand your arm bands over to us
Marcel: will we be able to contact you once we leave
Magath: no you will not the island is a communication dead zone also Marcel shall be the leader for those of you that don't know, now dismissed
Walking off you head towards where the rooms are to find the change of clothes that were prepared
Once you found the room you found that all the boys would be sharing a room
(Y/n): which one of these clothes are mine?
Picking up each shirt you placed them against your chest to find the one that would fit
On the farthest bed from the door you find a purple shirt with brown trousers that are the only ones that would fit you
(Y/n): purple that's a odd colour to wear for common clothing
Ripping the right sleeve off you begin to get changed, placing your normal fancy clothing on the bed
Just as you finished the door swung open as the other male Warriors walked in
Reiner: our clothes!
They all stared at the mess you had made cause when one shirt and trousers wasn't the right size you'd had just thrown it back onto the bed making a mess as things got knocked over
Marcel: (y/n) why would you do this?
(Y/n): I was looking for the clothes that would fit me so when they didn't match my size I just put them back on the bed
Reiner: please tell me you didn't try wearing them
(Y/n): I did not I only measured them against my clothed body
Marcel: ok I understand why you did it but you need to think about how bothersome this is for us now we have no idea which ones are ours
(Y/n): is it bad?
Bertholdt: not really just annoying
The boys began Shuffling round the room picking up the pieces of clothing trying to figure out which one belongs to who and picking up the few things the clothes knocked over
Reiner: how long do you think it will take to arrive at the island
(Y/n): from the Marleyan reports about 4 to 5 hours
Reiner: man what are we suppose to do for all that time
Marcel: we should prepare for arrival
Bertholdt: how?
Marcel: by talking about our plan for when we arrive
(Y/n): shouldn't we have Annie here for that
Marcel: good idea Reiner Bertholdt go grab Annie
Reiner: ok come on Bertholdt
The two boys left the room once their foot's vanished Marcel leaned against his bed
Marcel: man this is stressful
(Y/n): how so?
Marcel: I need to get this off my chest so the truth is Reiner wasn't me-
The hallway filled with screams of pain and fear as Reiner and Bertholdt came running back into the room and locked the door behind them
The door shuddered as Reiner and Bertholdt pushed against it
Annie: get out here so I can kill you!
Reiner: we're sorry Annie please stop!
You watched at steam came from Reiner and Bertholdt
(Y/n): you two are injured
Marcel: what happened?
Bertholdt: Reiner walked into Annie's room as she was starting to get changed
Marcel: what!
Reiner: I didn't see anything she hadn't removed anything yet!
Annie: I will break this door down!
(Y/n): Annie why are you so angry!
Annie: (y/n) stay out of this!
Marcel: (y/n) I'm sorry about this but can you handle Annie
(Y/n): is that a order?
Marcel: I guess
Walking to the door you move Reiner and Bertholdt out the way and open it just enough that you can slip through
Annie tried charging past you but Reiner and Bertholdt shut the door behind you before she could
Annie: move (y/n)
(Y/n): I don't understand your angry but I've been ordered to stop you
Annie: Reiner is a gross pig
(Y/n): but he didn't see anything?
Annie: that's not the point it's the principle of the situation
(Y/n): so he broke a unspoken rule?
Annie: how am I meant to explain this to you
(Y/n): with words
Annie: you are so stupid sometimes!
Annie stormed off back towards her room completely pissed off that you don't understand her anger
Except you did understand why she was angry you'd tricked Annie into thinking you didn't understand and the Annoyance of trying to explain it to you made her forget her anger at Reiner and Bertholdt
(Y/n): I have stopped Annie's assault Marcel
Marcel: good work (y/n)
Reiner: thanks you saved us
Bertholdt: do you really not understand why she was angry?
(Y/n): no I understand completely, it's just I know my ignorance on things annoys the hell out of her
Marcel: you tricked her and made her focus on something else
(Y/n): it was the only way to end this peacefully
Reiner: since when do you end things peacefully?
(Y/n): since fighting would just waste energy that we need to save for the mission
For the next couple of hours you and the other boys talked about diffrent strategies that could work, till Magath came down and ordered you all to the deck as the ship would be arriving in a few minutes
Magath: Marcel go grab Annie from her room
Marcel: yes sir!
Marcel ran back down the stairs into the ship leaving you Reiner and Bertholdt alone with Magath
Magath: I want you all to read these before you depart
Magath passed each of you a document filled with knowledge about the island and walls
(Y/n): it says here that titans mostly hang around the wall what about the most recent changed ones
Magath: for the past month Marley hasn't changed any Eldians in preparation of this mission
Marcel and Annie came walking up the stairs joining the line, without hesitation Magath gave them the documents as well
Magath: when we anchor you will be leaving with no breaks
Everyone: yes sir!
Magath: prove to Marley you Eldians aren't just worthless scum
Everyone: yes sir!
With the ship anchoring Magath lead the group to the top of a giant wall where Eldians get thrown off of and turned into titans
Magath: take these they should keep you alive while you travel
Magath passed each of you one bag full of supplies
Magath: now give me your arm bands!
Everyone stepped up to Magath with a look of unease handing him their arm bands
Magath: now get going Marley is counting on you
Around Marleyan soldiers saluted and watched the group
Marcel: Annie transform
Annie: ok
Walking to the edge Annie cut herself then dropped off the edge
Following her fall lightning exploded infront of you all
Marcel: everyone climb onto Annie
Under Marcels orders you jumped off the edge of the wall landing on Annie's titan form
Once everyone was balanced Annie began running away from the wall
(Y/n) thoughts: this will be the first time my actions won't be reported to the Tyburs
Marcel: hey (y/n) are you ok?
(Y/n): I feel strangely free I've never felt like this before
Marcel: I sort of agree with you there without my arm band I feel like I can do anything
Reiner: balancing here is really hard
Bertholdt: just hold on to Annie's hair
Reiner: I much more prefer riding (y/n) at least then we get seats
At Reiners words Annie jerked her right shoulder knocking Reiner and Bertholdt over
Reiner: hey watch it we could fall!
Marcel: it's your fault for being rude Reiner
Bertholdt: what did I do to deserve that
(Y/n): nothing just bad luck on your end
Marcel: Annie continue running till you can't anymore then I'll take over
Annie let out a grunt to show she had heard him
Marcel: this place is so peaceful just miles of grass and trees not like Marley with all its smoke and stone
(Y/n): it will make it very hard for a titan to sneak up on us
Reiner: there won't be any titans till we get closer to the wall probably when it's in view we'll have to have our guard up
(Y/n): do you think the reports are true and it's around the same height as the colossal titan
Bertholdt: I believe so it is made up from colossal like titans
Marcel: oh yeah Annie if it gets dark while your running we'll set up camp
Once again Annie grunted to show she understood
Reiner: it's a shame that (y/n) will be the only one able to properly communicate in his titan form
Marcel: yes that will make it hard to work together if we all need to transform at one point
Bertholdt: how so?
Marcel: normally well have Pieck Zeke and (y/n) to relay messages along with ground squads without the ground squad I won't be able to give new orders if I need to transform
Bertholdt: so over half our communication has been stripped away
(Y/n): yes meaning we all can't transform at once at any point unless we have a proper plan beforehand
Annie continued to run for a couple hours till she had no more stamina to keep her titan form moving
Stopping her run Annie allowed everyone to climb down before leaving her nape
Marcel: (y/n) help her down ill check if there's a need for me to transform
(Y/n): yes sir
Marcel: don't call me sir we are friends just call me by my name
(Y/n): I'll go help her down
You walked over to Annie who was in the middle of climbing down her steaming titan body
(Y/n): place your foot in my hand
Getting under Annie you moved your hands into a foothold for Annie
Annie: you better not let me fall
Placing her foot into your hands Annie lowered herself into you using your shoulders for more stability
(Y/n): why would I drop you?
Annie: never mind
Moving her other foot to the floor Annie completely let go of you and began walking towards the group
Marcel: the sun is about to set so I believe we should set up camp
Annie: good I need to sleep
(Y/n): I will gather wood for a fire
Bertholdt: I'll help (y/n)
Marcel: alright me and Reiner will set the tents up Annie I want you to rest
Reiner: what about food?
Marcel: we'll handle that once we have a fire to cook with
Walking away from everyone else you and Bertholdt headed towards a small cluster of trees in the distance
Bertholdt: hey (y/n)
(Y/n): what is it Bertholdt
Bertholdt: what do you think of Annie
(Y/n): she's a strong Warrior I respect her battle abilities and where she lacks she makes up for it in other places
Bertholdt: that's not what I meant
(Y/n): then what do you mean?
Bertholdt: I meant do you have any romantic feeling for her
(Y/n): as in If I see her as a friend?
Bertholdt: no not that either
(Y/n): then I have no idea what your talking about
Bertholdt: it doesn't matter you've said enough to answer my question
(Y/n): how did I answer your question when I don't know what it was
Bertholdt: just by you not understanding my question has confirmed the answer
(Y/n): was this a test?
Bertholdt: no I was just worried about something
(Y/n): this was a personal thing?
Bertholdt: yes
(Y/n): then don't bring it up again we are on a mission personal feelings must not get involved
While you both had been talking you'd gathered enough wood each to make multiple campfires
Returning to the spot where Marcel and Reiner had finished setting up the tents you allowed the wood to just fall to the floor
(Y/n): we have the wood
Reiner: great now who knows how to cook?
You all looked at eachother waiting for someone to step up and admit they can cook
Marcel: this doesn't look good
(Y/n): If no one has cooking skills I will handle making the food
Reiner: have you ever cooked before?
(Y/n): no but it can't be that hard
With no one stopping you from volunteering you set up a cooking pot above a freshly made fire
Annie: we really should have prepared more
Reiner: it's not like we left the only ones who know how to cook behind
Bertholdt: actually Zeke knows how to cook a bit he's not great but he can make something edible
For the next 30 minutes you focused on making a pot of vegetable soup
(Y/n): it's ready
Reiner: wow that looks amazing
Marcel: looks like you can cook (y/n)
Everyone filled up a bowl And without hesitation Reiner ate a giant spoon full
As he swallowed Reiners face to a ghastly green
Reiner: that's terrible!
Marcel: it can't be that bad
Marcel took a bite then began vomiting on the grass
Annie: I think I'll just go hungry tonight
Annie poured her bowl into the grass
(Y/n): Bertholdt what's your plan are you eating
Bertholdt looked at Reiner and Marcel who looked like they were dying then at you
Bertholdt: um I think
(Y/n): we need to eat to keep our strength up Bertholdt
Bertholdt gulped and took a bite of your soup
Which then lead to him falling unconscious after vomiting
(Y/n): interesting
Making yourself a bowl you ate the soup with no trouble as it tasted fine to you
Reiner: (y/n) how could you make something so terrible
(Y/n): if you don't want it don't eat it
Marcel: (y/n) I think you shouldn't cook anymore
(Y/n): if that's what you want
For the next couple of hours you all sat in silence till Bertholdt regained consciousness
Bertholdt: hey even if we destroy the wall how can we be sure the king won't use the founding titan
Reiner: what're you talking about do you have such little faith in Marley's research
Marcel: that's right there's no going back, tommorow we attack the wall
No one seemed to be happy at the moment as you look at their faces
Reiner: huh whats the matter you all do want to kill the island demons don't you?
Reiners voice filled with Annoyance as he looked at you all
Reiner: don't you remember what they've all done?
In a fit of rage Reiner stood up and began yelling
Reiner: we are Warriors chosen to bring the worlds judgement down on these demons!
Marcel: I'm sorry
Reiner: huh?
Marcel: Reiner I'm sorry you weren't suppose to become a warrior, I made you look good to the army while making Porco look worse
Reiner: what?
Marcel: I wanted to protect my brother I'm sorry, Reiner I'm sorry
No one said a word as they looked at Reiner who was just standing there with his mouth hanging open
You'd all been awake for so long that behind Reiner the sun was starting to come up
(Y/n): this doesn't change the fact we need to attack the wall
As you sat there the ground began shaking as a titan crawled out of the ground like a giant mole
Your eyes widened as it reached for Reiner you couldn't move to protect him
This was the first normal titan you'd ever experienced and something you haven't felt since a very young age came back
Fear
Being the only one able to move Marcel jumped and shoved Reiner out the way getting grabbed himself
Marcel: AHHHH--
Marcels screams got cut off as the titan bit him in half then shoving his remains down its throat
Bertholdt and Reiner ran past you leaving you and Annie watching the titan though a few seconds later Annie ran away as well
You just stood there as the titan finished eating it hadn't noticed you at all and once it felt satisfied the beast ran off in the opposite direction the Warriors had run
(Y/n): I've failed my orders were to make sure that this mission was completed at all cost but without Marcel there's no way we can complete it
Then a Realisation hit you with Marcel dead that means the next in charge would be the highest ranking of the group which was you because of your Tybur status
(Y/n): I can still save this mission, you will be missed Marcel
With the titan out of sight you turn and began trying to find the others you didn't want to chase the titan and be unable to find the others after with a prisoner
It took you a few minutes to find the others and what you found was Reiner choking Annie till she fell unconscious
(Y/n): explain
Bertholdt: Annie and Reiner got into a fight about ending the mission
(Y/n): we aren't ending the mission that is a order
Reiner: what?
(Y/n): with Marcel dead the position of leader fall to the highest ranking person in the group and that would be me
Reiner: is that true?
Bertholdt: yes
(Y/n): now we are going to the wall Bertholdt grab Annie
Walking away from them you plunge your nails into your arm causing it to bleed
Activating your transformation your white titan form grabs a hold of the others and begin running in the direction of the walls
(Y/n): when we arrive Bertholdt will destroy the outer gate then Reiner will destroy the inner gate ill guard Annie then we'll meet up and hide within the evacuation
