No one's POV
"Why do we have to watch a horror movie?!" Zander said. "Because it's Jake's night to pick the movie" Luke said
The two of them were waiting in the living room, while Jake was in his room picking out a movie for them to watch
"I just don't wanna have nightmares..." Zander sighed
Before him or Luke could respond, Jake ran in with not one, but two movies. "....why are there two." Zander said sternly.
"Well," Jake said smiling as he placed the movie cases on the coffee table. "I found too good ones. Figured I'd let you two pick"
Zander and Luke looked at the movies presented before them. They were Scream, and The Shining. "Which is less scary..." Zander said. "Eh. Kind of so-so" Jake said. "I guess Scream is more scary?"
"Then I say we watch The Shining." Zander said. "I'm good either way" Luke said. Jake nodded and picked up the two movies. "Alright, Scream it is."

Zander wanted to sit between Luke and Jake. He figured if he was scared, he'd have someone on either side of him to protect him
Jake had a bowl of popcorn on the coffee table. All three of them had their own drink too, plus some chocolate and chips on the table. "Hey, if you guys want, we can watch both-"
"No!" Zander said instantly. "I'll probably already be scared enough from this one!"
"I'm sure you'll be fine, Zander" Luke said, holding Zander's hand which made him blush. "You ready?" Jake asked. "Sure" Luke smiled. "I guess.." Zander sighed

"So..you got a boyfriend?"
"Why? You wanna ask me out on a date?"
"Maybe...do you have a boyfriend?"
"No"
Zander felt his arm being tapped with something, and he flinched. He turned and saw Jake holding the popcorn bowl towards him. "Uh...I-I'm good" Zander said. Jake nodded then looked at Luke, who took some of the popcorn. The movie wasn't too terrifying so far, just someone talking on the phone with a stranger.
"You never told me your name.."
"Why do you wanna know my name?"
"Cause I wanna know who I'm looking at..."
"Did he just say who he's looking at?" Luke asked. Jake nodded
"..what did you say...?"
"I said I wanna know who I'm talking to.."
"That's not what you said.."
"What do you think I said?"
Zander shifted closer to Luke. He looked at Jake and saw that he wasn't phased. "Trust me guys, this movie's sick" he smiled
"Wait...I thought we were gonna go out"
"I don't think so.."
"DON'T HANG UP ON ME"
"Luke.......?"
Luke looked at Zander, seeing he was visibly disturbed. Luke put his arm around Zander and patted his shoulder. Zander leaned his head on Luke's shoulder, starting to relax a little. But that relaxation didn't last long
"You getting scared?"
"No, bored..."
The next moment the phone rang in the movie, Jake's cell phone rang at the same time. Zander screamed and grabbed Luke, who flinched and quickly looked at Jake. Jake grabbed his cell phone off the coffee table and looked at it. "Just my mom" he said "I'll text her and say we're busy, and I can call back later"
Luke managed to calm down, and hugged Zander who was shaking. "Luke, I'm scared......" he said, his voice shaking
Luke continued to hug Zander as the movie continued

Next thing they knew, the screen was showing a horrific, literally deadly sight. Zander screamed, hiding his face with a pillow. Luke was also shaking at this point, now wishing he was closer to Jake
"Damn!" Jake said "I forgot how crazy this movie is! I haven't seen it in forever!"
He turned and saw Luke and Zander now grabbing onto each other, both extremely scared. Luke kept pulling Zander close, and Zander was almost in tears
"Guys, do..you want me to sit between the two of y-"
"YES....!!!" both Luke and Zander screamed before Jake could finish his sentence. Jake smiled a bit, and him and the other two boys got themselves situated again. Once they all got seated, Luke instantly put his arms around Jake's waste and rested his head on his shoulder while shaking. Zander kept his pillow with him
Jake heard Zander talking, but the words were muffled due to the pillow covering his face. Jake gently moved the pillow down so he could hear Zander
"Can I go in the other room for a bit.....?"
Jake nodded and kissed Zander's cheek, before Zander got up and left the room quicky, leaving Luke and Jake alone together
"How you doing..?" Jake asked, looking at Luke. "..scared..." was all Luke could say out of fear. Jake kissed Luke's forehead and hugged him. "I can keep hold of you the whole way through if you want.."
Luke was still shaking and could barley get a few words out. "Wh-What ab-bout Zander....?" he finally got out after ten minutes. "I can hug him too..." Jake smiled

Meanwhile in the kitchen, Zander was leaning on the counter. He was shaking and looking through his phone. He could still hear the background noises of the scary movie in the living room, and almost every noise made him flinch. He looked back in and saw Luke and Jake on the couch together

Zander walked back into the living room after about eleven minutes, and sat down next to Jake while shaking still. "You feel better...?" Jake asked. Luke kept his face buried in Jake's shoulder. "N-No, I'm still scared" Zander said "but I want hugs too."
Jake chuckled a bit then pulled Zander close. "You're both too cute.." Jake said. Luke managed to smile a bit, and Zander just nodded

"I-Is i-it o-o-over.....?"
Jake nodded and Zander moved his pillow from his face. "G-God, th-that was horrible..." he said. Jake patted his head then they both looked at Luke, who had fallen asleep. "How could he have fallen asleep through all....all that...?!" Zander said. Jake shrugged. He gently shook Luke, making him wake up. "How long have I been asleep...?" he asked tiredly
"A bit" Jake said
"How much of the movie did I miss....?"
"I think about the last 40 minutes...?" Jake said.
Zander stretched a bit, and Luke sat up. "Luke, you wanna watch The Shining? I know Zander won't and that's fully fine" Jake smirked jokingly
"Noooo..." Zander whined. "No more scary stuff..."
"Aight, I'm kidding" Jake shrugged. "I'm good.." Luke smiled nervously. Jake nodded
"Can we go to bed...?" Zander asked. Jake nodded, and him and Luke got up. "I want one of you to stay with me tonight." Zander said, slightly demanding. "I'm scared, and don't wanna be alone..."
"I'll stay with you, no questions asked.." Luke said. "I-I'm...also really scared..."
"You guys could both stay with me tonight" Jake said. Zander and Luke both nodded immediately

"Your beds really soft.." Zander sighed while putting the blanket over himself. Jake smiled and layed beside him, with Luke then laying next to Jake. "I love both of you guys.." Jake said. "I love you too.." Luke said. "So do I..." Zander yawned before falling asleep.
"Tonight was certainly a night.." Jake said. "Sorry if I permanently scarred both of you..."
"Nah, it's fine.." Luke said. "We'll get over it. Well, I know at least I will"
Jake turned to face Luke and hugged him. "Wake me if you get scared.." he said, and Luke nodded
"Night Jake.."
"Goodnight Luke.."

I only know the first five minutes of it because I heard it in a tiktok audio, and wanted to see where it came from.
