Marco's P.O.V
Ten years since I last saw my friends...ten years us sins have been in hiding when we had been framed for killing Grand Master Zaratras. No we wouldn't have killed him; that man was kind with all of us and we liked it...he treated us like his equals and never asked us what our sins were. I missed my friends but I knew or well guessed that one day I will see them again I just had to wait...that's something that I have been doing this past decade along with training and I had to admit I was proud of how I looked.
I got muscles in the right place I was lean thankfully, my powers I could control all of them and my favourite thing to do when knights came was to use my lies and put the lies of this place was haunted. I had chosen to live near a village where the water could heal wounds and it was there that I would train, meditate and relax. Being around the water helped me to knock out all the sounds around me and to relax me; I had learnt long ago how to control my anger and I knew now...my anger can become my will to fight and protect those that need my protection. I gave that protection to this village; lately I noticed something was wrong with the Holy knights and I didn't like it one little bit...the newbies who had no power one day; all of a sudden over night have gotten powers out of no where.
I left my little home that was on the edge of the woods and the furthest from the village which I liked; it meant I would have my own privacy and some quiet but I was far away enough that if danger came on this side of the town I would be able to protect the village and give the people time to run. I had my side my weapons were on me and my sword was my sacred weapon...the single blade was great to use on weaker opponents like the knights, or bandits of which was what I mostly dealt with lately.
I had started walking to the stream where I meditated and something was making me go on alert; I stopped in the woods and closed my eyes letting my mind go silent and my senses sharpened. I was shocked when I felt a strong power ahead of me near the stream and I frowned as I ran and jumped into the tree branches and started jumping from one tree to the next before I stopped a couple rows in the shadows and was grateful I could hide my presence.
I frowned watching a bunch of people walking into a tavern and I was curious; this tavern had just appeared out of no where since I left here last night. I thought maybe someone had used a spell to move it around but at the moment I wasn't picking up on anything and sighed softly. "Guess I'm going to the waterfall."
I moved onto a branch and headed to the west that was upstream and towards the waterfall that fed this stream. I didn't want to even know who had dared to come this way as I took off and smiled using my speed but kept my presence hidden; in a way I was kind of like Escanor I didn't like to reveal my power even a small fraction could lead many of knights to my location and risk the safety of the people in the village.
As I got to the water fall I checked to make sure no one was near me and from where I normally train and meditate I figured I was around three miles away which gave me some room to train. I sighed taking off my battle staff and concentrated my powers onto it and smiled as I had started to summon the water from the river and as I lifted my staff I tossed it into the air the water following it.
"Aqua sphere!" I had to stabilize the sphere and lately I had been trying to make the sphere bigger which required more of my energy. I had to be able to control the sphere and my staff was in the middle as that is where my magic was being concentrated for now until I had full control of this new technique. I closed my eyes and kept concentrating on the sphere and once I was sure I had it in control I slowly added more water till I had it about the size of a horse drawn cart and slowly started turning the sphere into ice and my staff flew into my hand.
I smirked and as I made the sphere ice and I jumped sitting it. "LEOPARD SLASH!!"I hit the sphere and it shattered sending the shards flying and they destroyed a few tree's and boulders as I chuckled softly. "Finally; only took me a year to perfect that."
I froze and spun on my feet as I heard a shocked whistle and my staff was in my right hand the furthest away from any threat. "Who's there?! Show yourself?!" I all but snarled and froze when I saw a familiar short blonde haired male and gasped softly. "C-Captain??"
"Been a long time Lies; where have you been?" Meliodas spoke and I noticed he had nearly the entire group and I smiled softly as I shrugged my shoulders.
"Wherever I wanted to be; but I have been here the past ten years. These people are good; they know who I am but they lie to those looking to start a fight with me. So captain...what do you need?"
"I'm gathering all the sins; something is going on..."
I stopped him and looked to the silver haired girl with the group and to her earring. "Ah this must be the princess Elizabeth I have heard so much about; can't believe you went and got a bounty on your head with these knuckle heads." Pointing at Ban and Meliodas.
Elizabeth was shocked and looked to my upper right arm where my leopard tattoo was. "May I ask? But who are you miss?"
I gave a soft purr and walked over to her bowing in greeting to her as I looked to her. "I'm Marco the Leopard Sin of Lies; it's a pleasure to meet you princess."
Elizabeth was surprised when she heard my name and looked to Meliodas and then to me. "I thought that it was only seven sins."
"Ah well yeah; but after I found Marco we all agreed and her as well that it was best that she wasn't known. Marco is the unknown sin and can work away from the group until I call her back; but it seems that she wasn't answering the call to her." Meliodas spoke and gave me a hard look.
I raised my hands and sighed looking to Ban who nodded his head and I smiled a little as I looked back to the captain. "Yeah well I would have responded but you see; the necklace that you had made for me so you could find and call me at anytime...well Merlin took it with her when she left. She figured I needed a chance to be free from you and the group and get a chance to find myself on my own without anyone hovering over me all the time and that's all I have been doing since that day." I put my staff away and grunted when I felt an arm swing roughly around my neck and I raised a hand grabbing the arm and smirked sinking my claws in and looked to Ban. "Hey Foxy how ya been?"
"Been missing my friend; so I heard a rumour that you got yourself caught and thrown into Baste Prison...what the heck was going through your brain?" I was smirking mischievously.
Ban chuckled. "What can I say? I was bored till captain came to town and things got lively. We need your help kitten will you give it?"
"No need to ask; you already have my aid...so what's the plan?" I looked from Ban to Meliodas seeing him smiling. "And I'm not wearing the ridiculous outfit or waitressing." Ban had started laughing along with a few snickers.
"Nah I figured you wouldn't although it would be a big help." Meliodas spoke and I growled when he used his speed and groped my breasts; an anime annoyance mark showed on my temple as I balled my hands into a fist and hit Meliodas sending him flying a good few feet into the ground and smirked as he started laughing. "That felt good."
"A-are you sure that wasn't too much Lady Marco?" Elizabeth asked a little worried but I could tell she wasn't too worried.
I chuckled and walked over. "That wasn't even scratching surface of what I'm capable of; I never use that power anymore."
"Wh-what do you mean?" Elizabeth looked shocked as I helped Meliodas up with ease.
Meliodas was dusting himself off and I healed his scratches and bruises. "Marco is our next best sin after Escanor; no one can meet her on an even ground too easily. She really has to hold her punches with us when we're fighting; but she's loyal and will fight to the death to carry out her duties."
I playfully rolled my eyes. "I take it we're looking for the other sins." Looking seriously to Meliodas.
Meliodas smiled and nodded his head with his arms crossed over his chest. "Of course we are; Elizabeth found me first and now we're looking for everyone else no matter what."
"Count me in captain." I was probably the only other person aside from Merlin who knew that Meliodas was from the demon clan...I learnt the hard way when we had been training and he had used his demonic powers. I had been able to fight him but it wasn't without it's cost; I had ended up on bed rest for a couple weeks due to a few fractured bones, three deep cuts, blood loss. But that was alright cause I still had those scars but I wasn't mad if at all...I found it exiting. "Where are we going?"
"Don't know yet; we have to figure out where Merlin Gowther, and Escanor may be." Meliodas spoke. "But do you have your sacred weapon?"
I smirked and grabbed my bracelet that was spelled to allow my sword to stay on it when not in use. As I held my hand out my katana appeared and I felt my power increase even though I stamped down on a lot of it. "I barely use it; I mean after all...Kira doesn't like being called on when not in combat."
"Well alright; looks like we got our sixth sin and it couldn't have come at a better time. Ready for a fight Marco? We'll be dealing with the new generation of knights." Meliodas had that smile on his face as he took lead with the rest of us following.
"Ready and willing captain." I spoke with a smile on my face as we all started walking to the tavern and I had nothing that I owned really as I saw some villagers and smiled softly waving in thanks as I followed my team. "I'm thirsty."
Ban chuckled. "Same here." We walked inside together and grabbed a drink each but sadly Meliodas took them and made us have water causing laughter to fill the tavern as I relaxed against Ban. "Welcome home kitty."
"Good to be home." I spoke happily and took my time drinking my water and looked over my group of friends who were talking about anything at this point at time.
