Then Nadja, Alya and Nino arrive to pick them all up.
'Manon, what have I told you about bringing things home that aren't yours?' she says, when she sees the writing book and pens.
'All good Mrs Chamack. Early Christmas presents!' Marinette assures her.
'Thank you, Marinette, for looking after Manon so well too!' Nadja replies.
'We got to save the day with Ladybug and Cat Noir mommy! It was great!' Manon said.
'Kids and their imaginations huh? Thanks again!' Nadja replies as they head out.
'Thanks for everything girl! Nino and I really needed this break!' Alya said as she hugged her.
'No problem! Hope you enjoyed the movie!' Marinette replied.
'It was good, but the middle of the movie was so complicated that it was hard to understand!' Nino said, scratching the back of his head.
'Yeah, but it all made sense by the end!' Alya replied. Her phone beeped. 'Oops, lets go girls, the LadyCam has uploaded some video for me to edit! So excited!' Alya cries. 'Bye Mari!'
After they go, Marinette and Tikki chuckle.
'I wonder if them not understanding the movie had anything to do with Simpleman!' Mari giggled.
Mari heads back upstairs and reads the note from the gift.
"To the most beautiful girl in the world. A symbol that my heart will always belong to you.
Love from your prince, Luka"
Mari sighs and blushes. Oh, my sweet Luka she thinks to herself.
Then she looks at her phone. 'Wow, 3:15! I'd better get ready to meet Luka at the café, Tikki!'
'You deserve some me time after today, Marinette!' Tikki winks.
She picks out an outfit to wear and changes and lets her hair down and gives it a quick brush.
'Ok, ready to go!' Marinette says. 'I'll make sure I bring you all a treat as well for all the stress you had to put up with today!' she tells the Kwamis.
'YAY!' the Kwamis reply happily.
At the Cafe de Flores, when Marinette and Luka meet up for their date, he notices the necklace on her neck.
'Hi my melody, I missed you. Oh, you're finally wearing the necklace I gave you!' Luka smiled as they sit down at a table outside.
'I missed you too! Yeah, Manon found it in my room! I had no idea it was there!' Mari replied.
The waitress came and took their order and went away.
'I left it for you that night you fell asleep while we were watching Mulan' Luka smiled.
'That long ago? I'm so sorry!' Mari replied sheepishly.
'That's okay, you must have knocked it off in your sleep!' Luka giggled. 'It's actually a locket' Luka says, 'See?' He opens it up, and shows her a picture of them together.
Mari gasped.
'It's a symbol of my heart always belonging to you, my melody' Luka whispers.
'Oh Luka...' Mari blushes. 'My heart will always belong to you too! I'll never take it off' she whispers.
He kisses her on the nose as Mari giggles.
'How did your jam session with Jagged and Juleka go?' Mari asked.
'Yeah, pretty well. But we can't remember a lot about the time in the middle...' Luka replied, confused.
Probably Simpleman's doing! Mari chuckled to herself.
Their coffee and cake arrive.
'So, how did that errand go you had to do? Did you end up finding someone to look after the kids?' Luka asked her.
'Oh yeah, my grandpa took them, but they ended up driving him crazy and he got akumatized into Simpleman. It was almost a disaster, but the kids ended up saving the day. Anyway, it all worked out and I was able to help Adrien' Mari replied.
'Adrien? What did he want?' Luka asked, trying not to sound too aggressive.
'Oh, he was filming a commercial over at the Eiffel Tower and his angel wings broke and there wasn't anybody else he could call to come and fix them. He was acting a bit weird at first, he kinda spaced out and I thought he looked sick, like he had a fever or something. But then the akuma attack happened and he seemed to be okay after that.'
Hmm... Luka thought to himself. 'Well, that's good that it all worked out!' Luka said managing a smile.
Marinette was feeding Tikki some of her tea cake and had her back to the street, just as Adrien came past being driven in his bodyguard's car. They stopped at a red light and Luka locked eyes with Adrien and gave him the death stare.
Adrien looked terrified and ducked down.
'The heck was that about? Luka just gave me the death stare!' Adrien whispered to Plagg.
Plagg sighed. 'Marinette probably told him what a lovesick puppy you were acting like and he's not stupid, he knows!'
Adrien gasped. 'You think Marinette knows?'
'I doubt it' Plagg says. Probably about as dense as you were he thinks to himself.
After they finished their coffee and cake and Luka paid the check, Luka walked Marinette home. The sun was setting and they got to the door at the same time as Marinette's parents got back from the Chocolate Convention.
'Hi Mom, hi Dad, how was the convention?' Marinette asked them.
'It was great sweetie. But here, you can have these' Tom said giving her a big bag full of chocolates. 'Please take these away. I think if I look at another chocolate today, I'm going to be sick' Tom says.
'Aww!' Sabine giggles.
Luka and Mari went upstairs to her room.
'Want some chocolates to take home?' Marinette asked him on the way.
'Sure, I can share them with Mom and Juleka' Luka smiled.
'But most of these I think some special little beings deserve today' Mari smiled.
When they got to her room, Mari asked the Kwamis: 'Guys, who wants a treat?'
She opened the bag and showed them the chocolates. Some oohed at the sight of it.
'What is it? It smells sweet!' Pollen asks.
'It's chocolate, Pollen. Try it. It's really good!' Marinette says, as she poured some into a bowl and some into a bag for Luka.
Tikki's sweet tooth was triggered too as her eyes got bigger.
'You can have some too Tikki, but you just had cake too you know!' Mari smiled.
'Ok, just a few Marinette!' Tikki smiled.
The Kwamis all started digging into the bowl of chocolates.
'It IS deliciousss!' Sass says.
'Yeah!' Xuppo replies.
'You guys deserve this after putting up with all those kids today' Marinette smiled.
'Thanks Marinette!' the Kwamis reply with chocolate covered mouths.
'Here Luka' Mari smiles and gives Luka a bag of chocolates.
Luka smiles. 'Wow, white, cocoa, milk with caramel, and dark. These look good. I know Juleka would love chocolate and my mom too.'
Mari smiles.
'Mari... can I feed you one?' Luka smiles.
'Sure...' Mari says as she blushes as Luka gets a milk chocolate out of his bag and puts it in her mouth.
'Mmm, so good!' Mari smiles. She grabs one out of the bag too and feeds it to Luka as well.
'Yeah...so good...' Luka whispers. He leans in and kisses her, her lips tasting sweet and chocolatey.
'You had some chocolate on your lip, I was just getting that for you' Luka giggled softly.
Mari blushed.
Then Luka noticed a sketch of himself that Marinette had drawn was on the floor.
He gasped as he picked it up. 'Mari... did you draw this?' he asked.
'Oh, yeah, but you weren't supposed to see it, it's not really even that goo-' Mari began, but Luka gently put his finger on her lips.
'Shh... It's beautiful my melody. I love it... Can I keep it?' he asks softly, smiling at her.
'Of course...' Mari gasps.
Luka smiled. 'I will treasure it forever' he whispers, as he leans in closer and kisses her again.
Mari sighs. How is everything he says and does so perfect? Mari thinks to herself.

'See mommy, I wasn't lying! I'm a star on the LadyBlog now!' Manon exclaims.
'Wow, I guess you really weren't just making up a story! But at least you don't appear to have been in any danger. I must thank Ladybug for that and making your dream come true! And at least I did raise you right to remember that taking candy from strangers is wrong! Well done my little Ladybug!' Nadja says as she cuddles Manon as she giggles.
