A victim of the Red Room. That's all the training widow 885 thought would be her life. She was privileged though. She was under the training of Natasha Romanoff herself. One of the greatest widows to ever go through the system.
However one day when she was seven years old her entire world changed. Natasha was out on a mission, so she was just going through the regular motions of the Red Room. When a man with a bow and arrow broke her out of her room, and took her to Natasha. From then she watched as a building blew up with Dreykov and his daughter inside.
Then her and Natasha were immediately relocated to the United States, we're they became agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. When Nick Fury asked what her name was, she didn't have an answer. Everyone in the Red Room called 885 except Natasha, she called her детеныш, which translated to little one or youngling. But that's not what she wanted to be know as. She chose the name name Kai, which meant warrior. And she took Natasha's last name since Fury made her the primary care provider of the young girl.
Kai and Natasha had been working for S.H.I.E.L.D for about six years now. Kai was thirteen and a very promising agent. This is where Kai's story starts for all of you.
Kai sat on a mat in the training room of the S.H.I.E.L.D headquarters. In front of her was Clint.
" Rock, paper, scissors, shoot." They both changed together.
Kai did scissors and Clint did paper.
" Shit!" Clint cursed.
" Ha! That's three in a row." Kai smiled victoriously.
" Again." Clint told her.
" Working hard I see." Natasha walked into the training room.
" Always Natty." Kai said and looked back at her.
Kai noticed the file in her hand.
" New mission?" Kai asked standing up.
" Yeah, guess who gets to be Tony Starks new assistant for the next few months." Natasha said.
" That sucks." Clint laughed standing.
" You suck." Natasha retorted.
" You swallow." Clint said back.
" Woah Clint. Chill out, детеныш is in here." Nat covered Kai's ears.
" Oh yeah that's my bad." Clint nodded.
" What? What does that mean?" Kai asked looking up at them.
" I'll explain when your older." Nat told her.
" You always say that." Kai sighed.
" Fury wants us in the car." Nat told her.
" For what?" Kai asked.
" We're about to find out. Let's go. See ya Clint." Nat waved.
" Bye Clint!" Kai waved as well.
" Bye guys." Clint nodded.
The two former Russian spy's walked to the garage and got in to a black SUV where Nick Fury already was.
" Whats going on Fury?" Kai asked.
" Not too sure yet. Where going to find out the details now." Fury told her.
Kai looked up at Nat, and she gave her an encouraging nod. Kai nodded back and looked out the window on her side. Nat could feel the nervousness from her and put her arm around her and pulled her into her side. Kai placed her head against Nat and took a deep breath. She hadn't been on a real mission yet. So this was new for her.
After about a twenty minute drive they pulled up to an old looking bar in the middle of no where.
" Nick what the hell?" Nat asked.
" This is the location our mystery person told us to meet them at." Fury told them.
" Then let's do it." Kai took a breath and nodded.
" Agreed. The sooner we get this done the faster we can take care of our Stark problem." Fury said.
They got out of the SUV and walked into the old ruin down bar with two other agents positioned at the door outside. Inside was a scruffy bartender cleaning a glass, a few red cheeked men in the back talking and laughing among themselves, and then in the middle table sat an old man with a white beard in an old fashion suit.
" Ah. Miss Kai." The man rose from his seat and only addressed the young girl.
" So you know my name, does that mean I get to know yours?" Kai asked.
" I am professor Albus Dumbledore of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry." Dumbledore introduced himself.
" And what do you want?" Nat asked.
" Ah Miss Romanoff. The girl's caretaker." Dumbledore smiled at her.
" Primary caretaker. Many people care for Kai including myself. So start talking." Fury told him.
" Of course. May take a moment why don't we sit?" Dumbledore suggested as he resumed his seat.
The other three pulled out a chair and sat down as well.
" Like I said I am a professor at Hogwarts school. It's a school to teach young witches and wizards how to use their magic. The school is hidden to all of those of non magical descent. Other wise knows as Muggles." Dumbledore explained.
" So where do I fall into all of this?" Kai asked.
" You my dear are a witch, and I'm here to deliver you this." Dumbledore told her as a letter appeared in his hand.
He handed her the letter. Kai took it and opened it.
" You have been accepted in Hogwarts- but I'm not magical." Kai shook her head.
" I'd beg to differ. Have you ever done anything unusual before. Moved something without touching it?" Dumbledore asked.
Kai opened her mouth to reply but Nat beat her to it.
" You have. Many times, I've seen it. Remember when you were staring at that mat and it fell over?" Nat said.
" That was a coincidence." Kai told her.
" My dear, I have never mistaken a Muggle for a witch or wizard. You are from a magic bloodline and it shows. I believe from your birthday and your record, that you might be a decedent of the Black Family. Please read the letter, talk it over with your care takers and I hope to see you on September 1st." Dumbledore explained before he stood up.
He gave a nod to the bartender as he walked to the fireplace. He grabbed some powder said Hogwarts and disappeared in a green flame.
The three looked at each other.
" What the hell just happened?" Nat asked.
