~ Tenten ~
"Tenten, wake up" Neji said
"Tennie" he once again said
"Tenten, breakfast. I got us some treats" He shook the bag trying to make some noise I moved to the other slide of the bed but the food he had gotten us smelled so good
"Hold on I'm still waking up" I slowly said covering my face so the light didn't hit my eyes
"Okay, we'll I got us some coffee and other stuff to try from the festival. I'll set up everything for us to eat while you wake up" Neji said as he quickly kissed my head
"Okay" I muttered
I felt so tired, last night Neji drained all my energy. I stretched a bit then I got out of bed. I quickly put on my slippers. Neji had set up the table for us to eat. There was quite a bit of food along with sweet treats. I sit down and wait for him
"Somebody finally woke up" He said
"Not fully awake but I'm awake" I replied with a smile
"Let's eat, I don't want this getting cold" He said as he handed me chopsticks
"Thank you for the food" we both said out loud. We started eating and Neji explained to me what we were going to do today before we left to the land of hot water. We finished having breakfast, Neji cleaned up and I took a shower to finally fully wake up. We wanted to go to the festival again then go on a boat trip.
I changed into a cropped teal top and maroon pants. Neji got ready fast, he wore a similar outfit to the one he always wore but his apron was a dark teal. I did my usual 2 buns and fixed my bangs. Did the lightest makeup ever on myself and cleaned up the room. I looked over at Neji who was fixing his hair, I smiled. I finally was happy, after the war I felt sadness. The trauma messed me up, saying we were going to war was shocking to me, I wasn't fully prepared. I was grateful all of us were okay, I will always miss Guy Sensei and Hinata's father. But I'm grateful to have Neji with me
"Are you ready to go?" He asked
"Yeah, let's get going" I said quickly grabbing a bag
We headed off to the festival. Neji saw a stand where you could throw "kunai's" to win a price so he wanted to go. Neji is super competitive but so was I so when he first threw a kunai he didn't hit the center of the target.
"HA YOU MISSED" I yelled out
"So? I have another try" He said confidently
"Go ahead" I said as I handed him another "kunai"
He grabbed the kunai and threw it once again. This time the kunai didn't stay on the target. It hit the target then fell down. I turned to see a outraged Neji. The look on his face was priceless
"Ah!" He yelled out, he was too stunned to speak
"Haha, watch this" I said as I perfectly threw one of the kunai hitting the middle of the target
"Congrats to the lady what would you like?" The vendor asked
"I'll take the Kurama doll" I jumped up in happiness
"Not another Kurama doll" Neji whined, Hinata had one that Naruto gifted to her. They were limited edition, and I had been wanting one for the longest time ever. After the war many people started appreciating the tailed beasts soo much that they even started making dolls out of them. Naruto sponsored these dolls since after all he was the 9-tails jinchuriki along with Killer Bee. Naruto tried to get me a doll but I ended up giving it Hanabi. Now having the doll in my hands made me feel excited
As the man handed it to me, I hugged the box and I jumped up in happiness
"I wanted to win the doll for you" Neji said
"It's fine, you can get me some of onigiri" I added
"Some pickled plum onigiri" Neji smile, he knew I hated pickled plums. It was his way of teasing me
"Nooo boo, boo" I stuck my tongue out
"How about some rice cakes" Neji pointed out to the stand on the left
"Okay yeah sure, then some sticky rice?" I asked
"Yeah sure, but let's get some water or tea?" Neji said
"Tea" I replied as we walked to the stand to get the rice cakes
The small little lady at the stand greeted us happily as we ordered these huge rice cakes. I got cinnamon and the Hyuga who was still a bit hurt that he didn't hit the target for got chocolate. We also got tea and water. There was a bench where me and Neji sat down. Neji left to get the sticky rice while I sat there enjoying the view. Neji genuinely made me happy.
"Here's the sticky rice" Neji said happily as he gave me a bite
"This is good" I said as Neji took a bite
"You're right" He fed me another ball of sticky rice. He had the habit if we were alone or around no one that knew us he would sometimes feed me. It wasn't anything weird it was just a way of showing his love.
We take a picture and talk. We enjoy each other's company, we could always talk about anything and everything.
"Ten, It's time to get going" Neji said as he grabbed my hand
"Boat ride?" I asked
"Yes, you'll love this place" He smiled as he grabbed my bag so I wouldn't have to hold it
"I'm excited" I smiled and clapped my hands. We had never taken a boat ride together, I don't think I've ever been on a boat. We walked to the port, it was a small boat that we were riding on. It was a sunny day, not too warm but not too hot. It's was a great day for a light jacket. There were many birds flying around such as blue jays. Those were my favorites. Neji kept holding my hand, as the both of us looked around like little kids. We took a few pictures of us and the view. I could notice he had taken a few of me without trying to make it noticeable. As the boat ride ended we were greeted by a little girl who gave me a flower.
"Here you go" she said as she handed me the pink lilies
"Thank you" I replied with a smile, she walked away and Neji took 2 the flowers from my hands
"I'm going to put them in your hair. It will look great" Neji said breaking the ends of the lilies
"That's what I was thinking too" I said as I just sat there letting him put then
"There you go, hopefully it doesn't fall out. Now let's go get our thing's and start leaving to the land of hot water" Neji said, I followed behind him. I was excited to stay at a hot spring and take a nice warm bath.
We made it to the inn and packed up our things. We also cleaned the room and threw away all the trash. I had gotten way too many things from the festival. My bags were full.
"See I told you" Neji said as he watched me struggle closing my bag
"It's fine" I smiled
I somehow got to close my bag. Off we were to the land of hot water. It wasn't too far we would be there by 5pm or 6pm at latest. We enjoyed the walk and the views. It was rare for us to do that, with mission it you try to get there as soon as possible and not pay attention to the beauty of nature. The air felt just right, we saw many butterflies. As we arrived to the land of hot water I felt excited. I had a great feeling about this trip.
~ Neji ~
As we arrive to the land of hot water I see how excited Tenten is. I feel excited too. She doesn't know what my plan is. In 72 hours she will be my fiancé. I had the girls help me book the best hot spring for us to stay in. I wanted the best for this vacation. The couples hot spring we were staying at was one of the best in the land of hot water. We check in, and walk off to our gorgeous room. Once again I had flowers for Tenten waiting for her at our room. They weren't pink tulips instead they were sunflowers. We both had deep love for sunflowers too.
I see her reaction to the flowers, she's once again happy. She jumps up and hugs me. We quickly decided to go to take a bath. There were private baths and public. We decided to get a private bath just the two of us
"I just can't get over the fact that I still get shy around you Neji" Tenten said as she slowly took her towel off, I was already inside. She was red
"It's fine, I've seen you naked multiple times. I love you and your figure. You look beautiful" I said
"It's just funny to me" she said as she got in
"This feels nice" I said
"It does, it's just the right temperature" She said
"We have matching hairstyles" I said pointing at the ponytail I had
"You should let me braid your hair" She said
"One of these days I will" I replied
"You know this is our first vacation together. It's been almost two years of us being together. So much has happened and you've made me so happy" Tenten said as she started to tear up
"Come here, Tenten don't cry. You know even when we weren't dating spending time with you was great. Getting ice cream as kids, going to get Chinese buns because you would win Rock Paper Scissors when we wouldn't know what to eat for lunch, the time you tried to make cookies" I said laughing while I remembered that time
Tenten wasn't that good at baking when we were younger. Both me and Lee like these oatmeal cookies and Tenten offered to bake them for us. We all said sure, and Tenten was excited about it. She attempted to bake them but failed miserably. She still brought them to us but they were burned and tasted a bit weird.
"Nejiiiiiii don't ever remind me of those horrendous cookies" Tenten whined
"But you became a better baker. Look at all the stuff you bake now, that strawberry bread you make for us is amazing" I said as I hugged her
"Neji we should get a bottle of sake and you might as well get me pregnant" She whispered inside my ear
"Ten, I- I" I didn't know what to say Tenten's comment took me by surprise
"We are on vacation the two of us alone, we have to make the best of it" She whispered
"I don't think we'll need the sake or soju tonight" I smiled as I pulled her in closer
And there were started our night then moved it up to the room...
A Baby Hyuga is on the way... maybe?
