In the start, Y/N felt like crying every time she saw Giyuu walking behind her, but after she noticed that she just had confused his nervousness to interact with murderous intent, she finds the way that he follows her around like a puppy kind of cute.
Though Shinobu doesn't seem to be liking this 'proximity', and that was pretty noticeable when everyone went to eat their breakfast in the morning, the food in their trays looking completely normal besides Giyuu's, everything from his miso soup to his bowl with rice was producing a suspicious purple smoke, she really wants to kill him-
Besides this, Y/N was having a surprisingly calm number of days, which was weird, since she's used to a different, strange event happening to her everyday, but no, things have been going so smoothly that she almost feel like she's been isekaied to a slice of life anime.
She's been doing solo missions from time to time, since different from Tanjiro she didn't lose her sword in the red-light district battle, not thanks to her, of course, but because Daki went to look for it after the fight ended.
Each of the demons that she kills on this solo missions went to heaven, and each time one of them goes to heaven, the shorter her time to live gets, but maybe that's for the best, right?
It was normal for the kakushi to be gossiping or whispering between themselves, and as Y/N was walking around while sweeping the floor, one of their conversations caught her attention.
“First the water one, now the flame hashira is here too! What's up with this sudden hashira frenzy?! I can't relax with them around!”
“Right?! Though the flame hashira isn't a bad person, such a high-ranking person acting so friendly with me makes me nervous!”
Y/N suddenly popped out in the middle of them, her eyes sparkling. “Did you guys say flame hashira?! Is he here?!”
“Uh-”
“In which room is he in?! Is he hurt?! Can I see him?!”
“We don't have permission to-”
“I won't tell anyone, I promise!”
“W-w-we can't do that!”
“Oh….”
They looked between themselves, one of them whispering to the other : “What should we do? I don't want to go to see a hashira willingly-”
“But Shinobu-sama will kill us if she sees her sad-”
“ugh-”
They turned back to Y/N, who was mopping in the corner with a gloomy aura. “We will take you there…”
“Really?!” She excitedly said, sparkles around her.
“Shh!” He put his finger against her mouth for her to shut up. “We are going to take you there, but in secret! You will look to see if he's fine and leave! Don't enter the room and mostly important, don't try talking to him! You were lucky with the water hashira last time, but god knows what might happen if you treat a hashira like that again!”
“Oh! You guys were these kakushi from the other day?!”
“Shhh!”
“Sorry-”
Y/N was feeling like she was in one of these spy movies as she and the other two kakushi sneakily started to go to the room where Kyojuro's supposedly was staying.
To be honest, this whole situation was so amusing for her that she decided not to tell them that she is, in fact, already acquainted with the flame hashira.
“There he is! Are you happy now?” Kakushi 1 said, since Y/N didn't know their names, she started to refer to them as Kakushi 1 and Kakushi 2 in her mind.
They had slightly opened the sliding door, the three looking inside the room through the small gap.
Kyojuro was having his arm bandaged by a kakushi, though her hands were trembling furiously.
The kakushi being scared to death by the hashiras will never not be amusing to Y/N.
“There, you already saw him, so let's go ba-” Kakushi 2 turned to look at Y/N, only to see that she was gone. “Wha-”
“Kyojuro! What happened to your arm?!”
“She's dead.”
“Yep. She totally is.”
Kakushi 1 and Kakushi 2 were just about to start praying for the life of the girl that they interacted for only 5 minutes, but :
“I'm fine! Just sprained my wrist, nothing serious!”
“Is that so?” She stared at his face, looking for any sign of lying.
“What, you don't trust me?” He arched his brown.
“Nope, I trust you.” Even though she said that, she was still staring intensely at his face.
“W-what is it?” He questioned, though his usual smile was still there, you could see it starting to strain from the long stare.
'His hair looks so soft! I want to pet it! But I can't! But I really want to!' Y/N thoughts didn't match her expression.
“U-Uh- I n-need to finish bandaging him, so-” The kakushi trembled as she interrupted them, Rengoku snapping his head to look at her so fast that she immediately threw the bandages in the air from fright. “GYAAAH!”
“Kyojuro, you have to move more slowly! To them, you're like a cricket that invaded a territory full of ants!”
“… Am I the cricket in this metaphor?”
“There, there! No need to cry Amy, he's totally harmless!” Y/N said to the kakushi still trembling in the floor, patting her head.
“My name is not Amy-” She said in between sobs.
“Anyway, just look at him, do you think he would ever hurt someone?” Y/N pointed to him, who just smiled in an attempt to support her affirmation.
“GYAAAAH-” It had the opposite effect as she ran away from the room in full speed, and in the same moment she opened the door, Kakushi 1 and Kakushi 2 who were still spying outside ended up falling inside the room.
“Oh-”
Everyone just started to stare at each other with an awkward silence, but that silence was broken when Kyojuro looked down at his hands and said with a gloomy aura :
“…is my face that scary…?”
Y/N immediately grabbed his face, squishing her hands against his cheeks and forcing him to look at her in the eyes. “NO! NOT ONE BIT! YOU'RE THE MOST PERFECT BEING TO EVER LAND IN THIS WORLD!”
She quickly turned to the two kakushi standing behind them, exclaiming : “SAY SOMETHING YOU GUYS TOO-”
“Y-yeah! You- Uh- You are very… Exotic?”
'That's not helping kakushi 1!'
“You have a lot of presence!” The other said, doing a thumbs up with a wink in his direction.
'Don't act like you nailed it, kakushi 2!'
“Anyway, you're beautiful! She was just scared because all the kakushi are naturally scared of the hashiras! It's normal to be nervous around your superiors! So don't worry about it! Right guys?!” Y/N once again turned to the kakushi, who just nodded furiously (Not because they agreed with what she said, but because they would probably be killed if they didn't)
“It's nice to see everyone in a good mood, but may I ask what are you doing here, Y/N?”
“Eek-” Y/N's expression quickly went pale as she slowly started to turn behind.
Shinobu was standing in the door with a dark aura, crackling her knuckles.
With a blank expression, Y/N pointed to the two kakushi who were hugging each other while trembling in fear and said : “They are the ones who brought me here.”
“YOU TRAITOR-”
'Sorry guys, you were great friends, but I gotta put me first-' Y/N thought as a single tear ran down her cheek.
Shinobu snapped her head to look at the kakushi, they were immediately shrieking in fear as she approached them.
She tied the two together with a rope, and then grabbed Y/N's collar, dragging all of them outside the room.
“Bye Kyojuro! I'm going to visit you again later!” Y/N waved goodbye excitedly as she was dragged to her doom.

“That's so unfair, why do we have to sweep the whole garden while she only gets to feed the koi fish?”
Y/N, Kakushi 1 and Kakushi 2 were all punished, but as you can see, the levels of punishment were very different.
“Y/N, stop trying to eat the bread, you're supposed to give it to the fish!”
“It's okay! Akiho doesn't mind!”
“… Akiho?”
“Yeah! It's the name I gave to the fish!”
“What a peculiar name to give to a fish…”
'I just don't want to forget them…' Y/N thought as she gloomily threw small pieces of the bread in the pond.
"What's the name of the other fish?" Kakushi 2 asked.
"Mirieth!"
Shiro suddenly landed in her shoulder. "Oh! You scared me! Do you want bread?"
“YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO FEED THE FISH WITH IT, NOT YOUR CROW!”
“Is that so?” She tilted her head.
“YOU KNOW WHAT?! GIVE THAT BREAD TO ME! I WILL DO IT!” Kakushi 1 said, grabbing the bread away from her and proceeding to aggressively feed the fish.
He didn't see the devilish smile Y/N had behind him, she successfully threw her work at someone else once again.
'This idiot-' Kakushi 2 sweat dropped.
“Y/N! I came to visit! I brought cake too!” Mitsuri suddenly appeared, tackling Y/N into a hug.
First the insect hashira, then the water, then the flame, and now the love one?! Y/N's reputation was promoted from suicidal to hashira magnet.
“Cake?! Let's share it! You guys can come too!”
“… Lady Shinobu will kill us if she sees that we left to eat cake-”
“Nah, she won't catch us!”
Shinobu caught them just after, and they all spend the rest of the day cleaning the garden.
Moreover, Y/N still has no idea about what is the name of the two kakushi.
