The birth of Eri was a magnificent one, we celebrated with a grand party but we were the first ones to leave because of the child
After a few years, she has already grown up to a toddler and was still so cute
Eos also birthed my second child which we named Myu, she was thought to be a nymph because of her appearance but she had a strong divinity like her sister Eri
Myu has long wavy blue hair and green eyes. Unlike gods, her ears are fan-like fins. With maple-like small hands, and a folded thin film attached in between her fingers
Her divinity is Sea Creatures, she seemed to get along well with every one of them, this will probably make Poseidon's job easier
She at one time created a new species of them which was a humanoid species but had similarities to sharks, their skin was blue, they had a shark's tail and head and although only as strong as gorillas, hey can generate lightning albeit only weak ones
I let her name the race and she named them Sharkheads
During these years, Chang'e and Sun Wukong are still dealing with the problem while Kali has already dealt with hers
The problem was taking too long to be solved so I went to the eastern part of the land to investigate
Apparently, Chang'e had encountered citizens creating and worshipping a false god, it was Ereshkigal, it confused me because Ereshkigal is supposed to be in Sumerian myth
But the problem wasn't that, the people started worshipping the statue they built and there is actually divine energy forming in the statue, Chang'e and Wukong tried stopping them but the belief of Ereshkigal has already spread
I decided to intervene in this charade and destroy them myself, Ereshkigal is a really strong goddess of the underworld and who knows if she were to be stronger than even me if she were to be born
If I were to personally kill them myself then I have to announce my arrival here because I can't kill people without them knowing it was me, they might think there is a murderer and it would cause panic
Wukong told me that a sedan chair would arrive an hour later at the gates of the imperial city, I went there and waited for the chair I would sit on to arrive at the palace
The chair arrived and it was quite magnificent and it's designs are very detailed
I went in and sat on the chair inside, then the mortals carried the box and slowly walked back to where they went
During our way to the palace, there were various humans and other mortals screaming and shouting at the sides of where I was going
Thankfully, there were guards who stopped the people from getting in the way but one child got in and he was currently in front of my box, it's kinda weird thinking that I'm in a box
"Please!, My mother is sick, she needs help" he pleaded in front of me, the one carrying my palanquin said "How impudent, don't you see Lord Hades is making his way towards the palace, you are punishable by death" he said as he raised his sword thst he was carrying on his waist
Using my divinity, I stopped his strike and said to the child "You're mother is sick, but I have healed her now, so go back to her and assist her" I said as I used my divine energy to find and heal her mother
"Th-thank you Lord Hades" he said as he was leaving hurriedly left but I asked him a question before he left completely
"What is your name child?" I asked him, he answered "It's Qin Shi Huang Lord Hades" shouting which surprised me, he was the first emperor of unified China, in other words, the jade emperor
The people were prostrating themselves, it was when I stopped the sword of the guard when he was about to strike the child
I signalled the guards to continue by saying "Continue" and raising my hand
We then arrived to the palace and I sat on my throne, on my side were Chang'e and Sun Wukong, in front of me were 15 humans who I am guessing are the council Chang'e and Sun Wukong formed, the throne was visible to the outside
Just then, Chang'e and Sun Wukong kneeled in front of me and the council prostrated, followed by the guards and then the people
I announced that I would personally destroy the belief of Ereshkigal, but then an assassin appeared behind me, I could sense him but Chang'e and Wukong probably couldn't because he had incense all over his body
This was probably the best assassin that the believers of Ereshkigal hired to kill me, too bad he is too weak, it seems he was well prepared too, carrying a dagger made from a dragon's tooth and dipped in blood from a basilisk, it could have damaged Chang'e and Sun Wukong but this was nothing to me so I let him hit my neck
The whole crowd was surprised by the sudden assassination, Chang'e and Wukong immediately used their divinity to catch the assassin, he used a teleportation stone which could only be used once and teleported at the back of the palace but I used my darkness to bind him in place
Chang'e and Sun Wukong apologized, saying "We are sorry for this my Lord, this was your first day visiting and we are sorry" I told them it was okay and told them to capture the assassin
This religion is to be stopped, I will kill anyone that is a believe of it
I stood up and floated into the air, high enough to view the whole kingdom, I then summoned as many shadow soldiers as I can and ordered them to assassinate all the believers of Ereshkigal
The soldiers slipped from shadow to shadow until they killed their targets, but suddenly, I felt a tremendous amount of divine energy coming from one of the altars of Ereshkigal
I sped towards the direction where the divine energy is gathering and forming, the altar was full of people who were worshipping the statue
The people didn't see me because I used my shadow to hide in, I didn't interfere for a bit to gather information about why they were doing this
The pope of the religion was actually planning to control Ereshkigal because it was easy to control a newborn god, he knew how to birth a god from the fates but this way will make them weak, they can only be as strong as a demigod at most, major if they have offerings
They were providing offerings to the statue daily, it was parts of living creatures including humans, they wanted to control a god and they wanted it to have a strong domain, they thought that underworld was the strongest so theu made that her domain, I don't really know how they came up with the name
I was infuriated when I heard the news, I know how disgusting humans can be because I've been one but this is just too low, using innocent lives for something they aren't even sure of the outcome
Their shadows were now filled with the most sadistic demons I had and also added demons who were experts in maximizing pain and torture
After a few minutes, the statue was finally cracking and crumbling, in it was a golden glow, the humans were happy and cheering but I commanded the demons to kill them and torture their souls
The humans were terrified when they saw me and the demons, they didn't even get the chance to ask for mercy, including the pope
I looked at the newly formed goddess, she was looking around and was acting like how Eri and Myu do, she was probably clueless of the world or anything that she was in so I took care of her
