"So... (Y/n). Welcome to Toman's Meeting grounds!"
You smiled faintly under Mikey's enthusiastic welcome. The blonde boss I'd this so called Gang was trying to open a pack of doroyaki while welcoming you, before grunting in annoyance and passing the unopened food to Draken.
Amusement flashed in your eyes as you watch Draken's skillful movement, which indicates that he's used to it and had done this thing many times.
"Thank you...for the welcome." You slowly said before turning to Mitsuya, a bit of crazed could be trace on your smile. "Mitsuya-san, you look like the character on this certain book that I recently finished reading."
Mitsuya: "....?"
What?
Mitsuya looks at you with confusion, his brows furrowing. Should he answer?
"You don't need to answer." You said.
Mitsuya fell into silence. This time his eyes were looking at you with a hint of horror. On his face, the words 'Are you a mind reader?' is the only thing that's lacking.
"I'm not a mind reader."
"No shit, I think you are!" Mitsuya couldn't help but said that before messing his hair. He was silent for a moment before asking, "This character...in the thing you're reading..." he was trying to think how he should place his thoughts into words, "This character couldn't be something that offended you by any chance, right?"
'But even if that character you're reading really offended you, how does it have anything to do with me?'
You blink at his question and you're face showed a spitting image of Baji's grin, "How could that be?! That character is my happy pill!"
Mitsuya doesn't know what to say to that. In his peripheral vision, he saw Baji staggered. This long-haired Buffon is clearly eves dropping and heard something that made him speechless.
"Is that so..." Mitsuya said awkwardly after a moment of silence. He doesn't really know how to respond to that. Although he's the president of the Home Economics, he's not a fan of reading anything. Except to some books related to stitching and the likes, he's never been the type to read a book that has any story in it.
"Well, would you like to read it? I can lend you a book if you want."
A few laughter could be heard in the meeting place, Mikey who's laughter was the loudest was clearly enjoying Mitsuya's awkward state.
How to say this. All of them here are gangsters, how could they possibly free some of their time to read a book? Hell, they'd rather go provoke someone and start a fight instead of wasting it on a book.
Unfortunately for them, the Second Division Captain is not a normal Gangster. He's also the President of Home Economics Club and reading a book is within his acceptance of task.
"Sure."
Toman: He really accepted it!!!
Draken chuckled. He's one of those who didn't laugh at hearing someone offering a book to Mitsuya, so now he's laughing at those who did. After all, seeing this group be silenced due to shock with a simple 'sure' is satisfying.
You paid no attention to the others and instead, became excited. The book titled 'Revengers' is one of your favorite books, and Mitsuya actually looks like the real-life version of one of your favorite character!
Unfortunately, the face is the same but the personality is far too different.
'No worries. I could make up the personality myself.' You thought comfortingly before starting a wave of enthusiastic book promotion towards Mitsuya, who actually listened with interest.
Everyone was focus on you and Mitsuya, but the two of you are talking to each other like none of them existed.
This made Mikey feel at loss. Where is he? What is he doing? What's happening?!
This is Toman's Meeting Place!
Toman!!
Isn't he supposed to be the center of attraction?! He's supposed to be intimidating his gang right now or giving them orders but what's this?!
Mikey couldn't help but look at Baji with a hint of grievance. "Baji!"
However, as though he doesn't understand what Mikey is feeling right now, Baji not only said something he even raised his eyebrow high while asking a bored, "What?"
What? What do you mean 'what'?! Control your Cousin!!!
Draken pulled Mikey a bit before pacifying the dark aura that's starting to surround Mikey. He did so by attracting Mitsuya's attention away.
"Mitsuya, who else haven't arrived?"
Mitsuya look up at Draken and finally he remembered that there's bout to be a meeting tonight. "The captain of third and fourth division still isn't here." Taking out his phone and looking at the time, he said. "There's still 2 minutes left."
"Seriously, they're late.", Baji said.
"No they're not." Mitsuya muttered before placing back his phone.
Mikey shrug, "Let's just wait for them then." the blonde then turned to you and smile, "Let's first introduce the gang to (Y/n)!"
You agreed while smiling. However, your eyes linger towards Mikey with a hint of doubt. 'Is this really the leader of this Gang?'
While waiting for those that haven't arrived yet, you were introduced to everyone.
So far, the one you became most acquittand is actually the 5th Division's vice-captain, Sanzu. The mysterious-vibe surrounding this person attracted you like a moth to flame, causing you to pester him. You wouldn't have stopped if it weren't for Keisuke pulling you away, saying that everyone has arrive.
"You guys, gather around! It's time for the meeting to finally start!!"
To your amazement, when Baji pulled you at the side, you actually saw the lower-members except to the captains and vice-captains lined up in two straight lines, forming a way for Mikey and Draken.
The two sides bowed deeply and yelled, "Good work, President!"
Listening to the respectful greeting, you couldn't help but lean closer to Keisuke.
"President?" you whispered to him in a questioning tone.
Keisuke turned to you dully and sigh, "Got a problem?"
You shook your head and answered him, "Nah, I just thought you'll address him something like 'Boss' or 'Master' like in those Mafia series I'm reading."
Keisuke: "...."
Your cousin couldn't help but took a deep breath before pointing at your forehead and pushing your head away, "Read less of those things, ya hear?"
Keisuke felt like he's okay with calling Mikey Boss or something, but he will vomit in disgust if he were to call Mikey a title like 'Master'!!!
Just when Keisuke thought you'll complain or say something, he actually heard nothing. The Captain of the first division couldn't help but turn his gaze at you, and then he froze.
You were looking, no- you were staring at someone so fixated that you didn't even bother saying something to Keisuke.
Keisuke furrowed his brows in worry, and following your gaze, he actually saw the Kawata Twins not far away, standing a few distance.
Keisuke: ....?
Could it be, love at first sight?!
