Doyoung was fast asleep after coming home late the night before. He stayed back to work on some recordings with his producer and hadn't realized how late it had gotten. By the time he got home, everyone was asleep, and he was utterly exhausted.
He collapsed in his bed and instantly fell asleep.
When he woke up, it was late afternoon, and the sun was shining through his window creating a warm yellow glow.
He groaned and rubbed his eyes feeling refreshed from his long rest. He sat up and left his room to go see what the others were up to but when he entered the living room, nobody was there. It was dead silent in the dorm and doyoung looked confused.
"guys? Are you here?" he called out as he walked around the dorm.
There was nobody there. He was all alone.
His chest went tight, and his breathing picked up. where could they be? Did they leave him? were they coming back?
He felt dizzy, he braced his body weight on the door frame as he struggled to breathe.
He knew that his panic was most likely irrational, but it was too late as his chest heaved and uncontrollable shallow breaths escaped his lips. He needed help; he knew that.
He shakily dug into his pocket and pulled out his phone. He shakily clicked through his contacts pressing the leaders name through blurry vision and raising the phone to his ear.
It rang a few times before taeyong answered.
"hello?"
"hyung! Hyung..where...where are you!?"
"woah, doyoung what's the matter?"
"hyung...hyung please. I...I can't breathe...please...please come home..."
Taeyong was petrified, he had never heard doyoung sound like that before and he knew he needed to get home.
"doyoung-ah, it's okay, I'll be there as soon as I can okay? I'm coming baby just hold on." Taeyong said before he hung up and rushed to the manager who was conducting the meeting they were all at.
"hyung! I hate to interrupt but I need to leave, doyoung is having a panic attack, I need to get to him."
The manager looked worried and nodded.
"of course, of course go ahead taeyong." He said quickly.
"I'm going with you Yong." Johnny said standing up.
"call if you need help okay?" the manger said as they nodded and rushed out.
The boys raced to the dorms and burst through the door finding doyoung on the floor against the wall sobbing horribly into his knees.
He felt arms wrap around him and two soft voices fill the room.
"it's okay doyoung-ah, hyung is here...I'm right here baby..." taeyong cooed softly as he ran his hand through doyoung's hair.
Johnny knelt down beside them and stroked doyoung's back.
"breathe honey, breathe. Slowly youngie." Johnny cooed softly.
Taeyong felt doyoung's breathing even out and he sighed in relief.
"that's it doyoung-ah, you're doing great baby." Taeyong cooed.
He felt doyoung's tears soak his shirt as he clutched the leader tightly.
"hyung...hyung why did you leave me?" he sobbed.
Taeyong felt guilty and squeezed the younger tightly.
"aish doyoung-ah I'm sorry baby, we had a meeting, and I didn't wanna wake you, johnny-hyung said you came home really late last night."
"we just wanted to let you rest honey, we didn't mean to leave you alone." Johnny chimed in.
"i...I was so scared hyungs...when I came out and nobody was here...i...I hate being alone hyung..." doyoung admitted tearfully.
"I'm so sorry baby...I had no idea you would be this upset...if I had known I would have never left you here."
"it's okay. I...I just...I get a little freaked out when I'm alone... I'm...I'm sorry for making you leave the meeting..."
"no honey, don't apologize...it's not your fault youngie. We are always here for you doyoung-ah." Johnny reassured.
"next time doyoungie, please tell us about something like this so we know...I never want to put you through this again okay?"
Doyoung nodded wiping his eyes.
"thank you hyungs..."
"oh hey, don't make that face doyoung-ah, we just want you to be okay, that's all we care about." Johnny said noticing doyoung's facial expression.
"how about we get off the floor and cuddle up on the couch." Taeyong suggested seeing doyoung perk up at the idea.
They moved him to the couch and curled up on either side of him.
"feel better?"
"yes hyung...thank you guys."
"of course doyoung-ah, we love you and want you to be okay." Taeyong said snuggling into his side.
"I promise we'll never leave you alone ever again youngie." Johnny said rubbing doyoung's thigh.
He smiled softly and leaned his head on johnny's shoulder.
"let's watch a movie hm? Why don't you pick one to watch?"
They handed doyoung the remote as johnny covered them with a blanket.
They curled up and watched the movie feeling relaxed that doyoung was okay.
