The reader (OC) in this book is black but I didn't dive into her culture or anything like I'm sure most culturally appropriate stories would. She will be psychically described as African American but that's pretty much all.
I only wrote the book this way because I want to focus on the type of person she is, not the color of person she is. In fact, the OC being black was kind of a last minute decision .
