"You can open your eyes now," I told the green-haired girl, she fell from the branch she was standing on, so I caught her, but while I was holding her in my arms, I could tell she was shivering, she must have been really scared. Well, can't really blame her if I didn't catch her she would have died.
"..." she opened her eyes but said nothing, she was just looking at me, I can tell she's discombobulated right now. After a few seconds of me waiting for her to respond, she finally decided to start speaking.
"thank you so much...for saving me" she spoke with happiness in her voice, she looked so vulnerable and fragile, it was as if she was a glass flower.
She looked at me and I could see that her eyes were watery, she wanted to cry but she wasn't, she was probably holding back the tears.
"you can cry you know...there no need to hold back the tears, crying doesn't make you weaker" I told her, trying to reassure her that she's now safe and there's no need to be scared anymore.
She looked at me for a few seconds, each second her eyes getting more and more watery until she finally decided to put her face on my chest and start crying silently. I can sense that she's letting all her feelings out even some that aren't involved with what just happened.
Seconds passed, and those seconds turned into minutes, after a while she stopped crying so I finally decided to introduce myself, I mean it's rude not to introduce yourself.
"My name is Itoshi Rin" I tell her, she still has her head buried in my chest probably using my shirt to clean herself...I like this shirt.
I heard her let out a small giggle, why is she laughing?
"Are you an idiot? I already know your name, everyone in school knows your name matter of fact, mister dark prince of kouh academy" she said with a giggle at the end, fuck, I hate that name so much.
"well... it's still rude not to introduce yourself" I say, its true all 3 parent figures in my life have told me to introduce yourself first to leave a good expression on someone else.
"...you know your a lot more different than I was expecting you to be, anyway, my name is Tatsumaki Kageyama" she said, still acting confident even though her head is still in my chest and somehow her arms are now around my neck. She must feel very safe. Also is it just me or doesn't her last name sound familiar? and how and when did her arms get around my neck?
"...I want to apologize for making fun of your height earlier, that was rude of me, I hope you can forgive me" I said, thanks to her now I've realized that I'm in an actual world and that no such things as plot armor or anime girls attitude exist, well kind off.
"...well I don't accept your apology..." She said, what? she doesn't wanna accept it? I was expecting a yes like every other normal person but she said no, she then started speaking again.
"...I will accept your apology only if...you take me out to dinner" she said, did she just... ask me out? I've never been asked out before, should I say yes? should I deny it? wait, I'm in the DXD universe if I date her then she'll get hurt or they'll try to attack her because of me, what if-
My thoughts were now interrupted by none other than Baal.

I then looked at Tatsumaki who was now looking at my face, it seemed she finally decided to get her head out of my chest, I could see the tear stains on her cheek but her face still was radiating confidence and dignity, she is one hell of a woman, not gonna lie, I like that.
"How does Saturday afternoon sound like?" I say with a slight smirk on my face, I'm free that day, and if any plans come then ill just cancel them.
"...sounds good to me" she says, giving me a slight smirk as well.

School has now ended and I'm heading towards the student's councils room, where she told me to meet up after school on Monday. I and Tatsumaki traded phone numbers so now I have a way to contact her. To think I would go on my first ever date with such a cute girl, I'm a lucky guy.
Anyway, I reached the student council room and when I entered I didn't see anyone there, they were probably doing some things. I decided to sit in a chair that looked rather comfortable.
I decided to scroll through the system shop and see if I can buy anything while waiting for them, after scrolling for a few minutes I came across a ring.

I'm going to buy this, it's going to be useful and now I don't have to necessarily change clothes when I have this ring. This system shop has some items that can make life so much easier. Honestly, I'm starting to think this system has every single thing you can ever imagine.
Anyway, I bought the ring, after, the ring appeared on my ring finger, on my right hand, the ring was quite beautiful. it looked as if it was made specifically for me.
The Kuoh academy uniform is absolutely appalling I don't know how they can wear this the entire time in the show or how other people who get sent here wear this, but I won't so this ring is going to be good for when right after school I go to a dungeon or fight strays. Even if I'm in another world I'm still going to worry about my appearance, my adopted mother always told me it's never bad to look nice.
I closed my eyes and imagine an outfit that would be comfortable yet good to the eyes, then the blue line in the ring started glowing, and all my clothes were replaced with what I wanted.
A mirror appeared In front of me and I looked at myself, well I look good if I do say so myself, I then decided to look at my face and couldn't help but be amazed at the birthmarks I have under my eyes, they are, to say the least, very attractive. I have to say I have a gorgeous face.

"So Sona now that we're done making sure every student has been dismissed, are you ready to meet the famous dark prince of Kuoh academy for the second time?" says Tsubaki with a giggle.
"Tsubaki how many times have I told you today to stop making jokes about this" I tell her, all day she's been laughing at the fact that I now have the "dark prince" of Kuoh academy in my peerage while Rias has Kiba whose the "prince", honestly who even came up with these stupid nicknames.
Everyone chuckled and giggled at this except Saji, I couldn't help but sigh, jealousy is a rather strange emotion. He spends all day staring daggers at Rin.
"He seems to be waiting at the student council room as I told him to, at least he listens unlike a certain someone" I say, specifically looking at Saji, he just never listens to me.
Now we're all in front of the student council room, everyone is now serious, what we're about to do is tell a once human boy that the supernatural is real (not that he already knows), everything he used to think was nothing but a myth is indeed true. We will change a boy's life forever.
Saji opened the door and walked in and then we all followed him, once we were all in the room we were...rather shocked. Rin was sitting comfortably in my chair and he seemed to be looking at something but then he immediately stopped and looked at me.
Those eyes, that face, it was so dry as if there was not a drop of emotion in them. I could tell everyone else was looking at him just like me. Wait, how is he not wearing the school uniform?
"So you guys finally decided to arrive, you guys sure took your time" he said, it's as if he was the one in control of this situation.
"Hey watch it, we had things to do" Saji said responding to him, ill have to say something before he gets more mad.
"So Rin like I told you on Friday, I will explain to you fully everything today and answer all your questions, but first how are you wearing regular clothe?" I ask him, he had no reaction whatsoever, it's like I'm talking to a doll, but still, how is he wearing normal clothing?
"I went home and changed, then came back" he said without hesitating, is that even possible? He then reassured me by saying.
"I live close" he said as if he knows what I'm thinking...this guy...but how did nobody see him leave the school?
"Sona are you really going to let him sit on your chair?" Tsubaki tells me, I don't like when people sit in my chair but again I manipulated him to be in my peerage and changed his whole life forever so for today I might as well let him.
"Don't worry about it, just let him sit there" I say then we all took our seats and I began telling him about the supernatural

After I finished telling him everything, we were all surprised at the fact he still didn't have a single change in his face as if he already knew everything but of course there's just no way he could know.
I told him about the reason I invited him to join our peerage which is that he has a sacred gear that seems to be rather powerful.
"So Rin your probably wondering how to activate your scared ge-" I was interrupted by Rin saying.
"you don't have to worry I already have it" he said, What did he just say, he already has it? I looked around the room and everyone had the same reaction as me,
"...what do you mean you already have it?" I asked him.
"Over the weekend I felt a strange energy inside me so I meditated, and try to find out this strange energy and I kept trying to use this strange energy, after spending Saturday and Sunday trying to get that strange feeling out, Sunday night a sword appeared in front of me which seems to be my sacred gear" he said in a calm manner, this guy, figured out how to unlock his sacred gear all by himself not having a single idea what mana is or a sacred gear, that's something...only genius do.
Everyone in the room was in utter shock, Rin just did something impossible something that has never happened, humans may have been able to unlock their sacred gears in the past but that only happened after years and years of training or doing a specific or certain action to unlock it.
"I see... can you show us?" I asked, I wanted to see his sacred gear.
He closed his eyes and extended his hand, then a beautiful short sword appeared in the palm of his hand.
(for those that forgot, the same size as Sinbad sword)
Everybody looked at the sacred gear and could tell it was more than it meets the eyes, Saji was glaring at Rin for Lucifer knows what reason.
" I see... it's powerful, why don't we find out what it can do by joining Rias, She also got a new peerage member, and was going to show him how to battle a stray happen, so we'll join her" I say, even telling him Rias is a devil it doesn't even cause him a slight reaction... what an odd guy.

After telling me that we were going to join Rias a magic circle appeared in her right ear and she started speaking to who is probably rias about us joining her, after about 3 minutes the magic circle disappeared and she stood up from where she was sitting and stood In front of all of us.
"We will be joining Rias Gremory on a small trip to kill a few strays to show her and our new members how it's done" she says, well this is going to be a boring night.
Everyone got up including me and then I finally understood how tall I really was, I had almost a full head on everyone I'm for sure 6 foot tall, now everyone was looking up at me.
"Your a tall guy Rin" said a girl with glasses, the famous queen of Sona, Tsubaki
"Yeah I get that a lot" I respond, I'm joking but hey she doesn't need to know that, by now everyone is already walking towards the Occult Research Club, I actually don't know where I'm walking towards to but following Tsubaki is a good idea.
After a few minutes of walking, we finally made it to an old-ass building.
We then walked in and walked for a bit, we were now in front of a two-door room, Saji opened the Door and walked in and we all followed him in, and then I saw the infamous cast of Highschool dxd and the Main Character that we all know and love, Issei Hyoudou.
"What? Even the student council are devils?" he asked, to think a man who would soon become so powerful that even gods fear him is standing in front of me, just like it's the beginning of my journey its the beginning of his as well.
"Yes Issei, even they are devils but don't worry that's basically all the devils in this school" she said, then she looked at me, probably analyzing.
"Wait, Rin? even you?" he asked looking at me, he looks pretty shocked well cant blame him.
"you must be new just like me, I guess we both are equally shocked at this development" I said walking up to him, me and him aren't friends but we'll be soon, I wanna build a relationship with him I'm sure in the future we'll fight together.
I walked up to him and gave him a fist bump he looked shocked but quickly smiled and looked at me.
"The two hottest boys in Kuoh Academy being devils, what a coincidence" he says, well it is quite shocking in his eyes, I then looked at Sona signaling me to come next to her so I did.
Now standing next to her she spoke...
"Well Rias I would like to introduce you to my new knight, Rin Itoshi, as we spoke let's show our new peerage members how killing strays work"
Rias was gonna say something but Issei interrupted her by seeing.
"Damn Rin your Sona's Knight? that's fucking awesome! So Rias which piece am I?" He said excitedly, Rias looked at him then said.
"Your a pawn" she said, Issei's face dropped, he looked as if he heard the worst news in his life.
"A pawn?! wow aren't they the weakest and most useless?" he asked, Rias in the anime or Manga never told him about how it had the special ability to promote yourself until later on, but now ima boosting his confidence a little...
"Actually Issei Pawns have the unique ability to promote to another piece. The pawn can become a Queen, Bishop, Rook, or Knight. So actually pawns aren't the weakest or least interesting actually one might say they are the most useful, I'm jealous Issei to think you got such an important piece." I said, Issei looked at me happily and with a smile, and I can't lie I had a small smile too, Rias looked at me in shock as well as others.
"Wow Rin I didn't know you knew so much about chess" Sona said, she must think I play a lot.
"I play here and there" I said, clearly lying out of my ass, I remember this from an old video I saw.
"Well, Issei what Rin said is true later on you can develop the ability to promote yourself" Rias said, she sounded surprised maybe she forgot about that.
"LETS GOOOO!! heh you hear that Rin in the future ill be able to promote myself" he said, everybody sweatdropped at how enthusiastically he is now, not only that aren't I the guy that told you this?
"Well let's get going" Sona said"

We are now heading towards our second location for killing strays the one we just killed was the one in the Anime, Kiba asked me how I'm wearing normal clothe and I just told him the same bullshit story as the others.
Ria's way of demonstrating how to kill a stray was rather...weird to say the least, in the anime it looked more exciting but in real life, it was just hard to watch. Kiba is extremely slow right now, hopefully, he gets faster and stronger soon cause even now I might be a little faster than him.
We're heading towards a different location everyone having small conversations yet being alert, Issei is right beside me with a nervous face, well I can't blame him he did just see how a stray was murdered and how he has to do that in the future...
If I remember correctly Issei unlocks the boosted gear during the fight with Raynare while trying to save Asia, maybe just maybe we can speed up the process.
I couldn't help but smirk when I saw the system screen pop up in front of me...

I look towards Issei who is standing close to me and with no surprise his looking at the girl's asses, sigh well it's in his blood what can I say...
"Issei come here, I need to talk to you about something" I tell him, I decided to start walking a little slower to get a little behind the group.
Issei got out of his perverted state and walked a little slower as well to stand next to me.
"yeah, Rin what's up?" he said curious and confused as to why I called him.
"tell me Issei, what do you think about the idea of us two killing the next stray" I say, I couldn't help but let out a small smirk, what can I say, just the thought of fighting is enough to make my blood go crazy
Issei, on the other hand, his face once again turn from confusion to anxiety and fear...
"what did you just say Rin?" he said with a gulp.
"Listen Issei, you and I both already unlocked our sacred gears right? So why don't we try them out on this next stray?" I said trying to convince him, he still has a face full of anxiety but then I remember what always gave Issei strength and what convinces him the most...
"I don't know maybe we should ju-" before he finished speaking I added an extra detail to see if he falls for it.
"Not only that, wouldn't all these girls fall in love with you if they saw you fighting a stray with your sacred gear?" I said, saying it like its obvious,
His face completely changed it went from fear and anxiety to a face full of seriousness...
"let's destroy the very existence of this stray" he says, fully serious, if it wasn't for gamer's mind I would be dying of laughter right now.
"well, Issei I have a plan so listen closely," I say then I began to tell him my plan...
