1 week later....
Kol's pov
We were currently at St Anne's church attending a funeral for father Kieran who had died from a brain hemorrhage, well at least that's what's being told but the truth is he actually died from a hex as he got hexed by a petty vengeful witch and he died quite brutally.
The hex made him rapidly lose his mind and go insane so he kept attacking his niece Cami, you know the blonde bartender girl my brother is chasing after. I don't know what is up with him to be honest one minute he's chasing after Caroline the next he's chasing after Cami, he's like a bloody yoyo going from one girl to the other.
Anyway Klaus was forced to kill father Kieran by the man himself to put him out of his misery as he tried to gauge his own eyes out. Cami is upset over it but she understood nothing could've been done to save him as it was an irreversible curse and he was too far gone.
"May he rest in peace" the priest says who was conducting the service, everyone came to attend the service mostly out of respect. I stand as everyone rises and I frown as I catch sight of a familiar face before my eyes widen as she looks right at me and smiles.
"Oh bloody hell no" I curse "what's wrong?" Davina asks beside me "just seen a person I did not ever expect to see again" I respond "who?" she asks "a former flame of mine but she didn't mean anything to me" I explain just so she knows as I don't want to hide anything from her.
"An ex of yours is here?" she asks making me nod "yeah but she shouldn't be here as she should be very much dead" I respond making her frown "where is she?" she asks so I look to see Mary-Alice has disappeared "well she was right there a moment ago" I say pointing to where I had seen her "oh well" I say shrugging it off as I slip my arm around her as we start exiting the church.
I stop as I see Rebekah and Marcel talking in hushed voices over by the corner "it can't be her, she should be dead" Rebekah hisses "let's not worry" Marcel says making her scoff "not worry, Marcel she knows what we did. What if she tells Klaus? He cannot know Marcel and you know that" Rebekah replies making me narrow my eyes as I walk away with Davina making a mental note to have a word with my sister later.
Me and Davina walk out the church and exit the courtyard, walking through the gates and turn only to be stopped by Mary-Alice "Hi Kol! What a surprise running into you here" she says flipping her hair over her shoulder "well it's quite a surprise to run into you at all since you're suppose to be dead" I respond "well are you happy to see me?" she asks making me roll my eyes "not really" I respond and she laughs obnoxiously.
"Oh Kol you're so funny" she says pushing at my shoulder which irritates me and apparently Davina "bitch hands off" Davina snaps slapping her hand away making Mary-Alice finally turn to her and her expression changes to one of disgust.
"So you're the little tramp I've heard about" she sneers making me clench my jaw and fists in anger "what did you just call me bitch?" Davina asks moving herself away from me "Kol why would you be with this thing? You hate her kind why would you ever shack up with a dirty mutt" Mary-Alice asks pissing me off but before I can say anything Davina right hooks her in the face.
Mary-Alice stumbles back in shock holding her face "you need to watch your mouth bitch" Davina hisses standing with her fists clenched beside her as she glares daggers at her "I bet that baby isn't his. He's a freaking vampire, he can't have children and even if he could he wouldn't have them with a dirty mutt like you!" Mary-Alice snaps really making my blood boil and I sense Davina about to swing at her so I gently pull her back and step in front of her.
"Who the bloody hell are you to decide who I can or can't have children with?!!" I snap making her snap her head towards me "she's a wolf Kol! You've always despised them because of what happened to your little brother!" she snaps pissing me off even more "don't you dare speak of my brother! You have no right and I may have had my differences with werewolves but I never out right hated them and for the record I don't bloody care if she's a wolf so you can piss off!" I snap and she huffs.
"How do you even know that baby is yours?" she asks and I just shake my head "I just know plus it was confirmed by some witches now get out of our way" I say "what about us?" she asks making me frown "excuse me?" I ask "we had something good" she says making me groan.
"Mary-Alice we didn't have anything good going on. You were a means to an end, you didn't mean anything and I told you it wasn't anything serious, you knew" I say it may be harsh but I'm being honest, she was just a fling and an alley. I didn't have any feelings for her and I told her it was nothing serious from the start, I told her I wasn't any good but she still pursued me.
"And what of her? What does she have that I don't?" she sneers nodding to Davina "a brain" Davina retorts making me chuckle "I'm not gonna explain anything to you because I don't need too and honestly it's none of your business" I respond wrapping my arm around Davina's waist and starting to lead her away.
"He'll grow bored of you" Mary-Alice says making us both stop and I glare at her "excuse me?" Davina says turning to her "he doesn't do commitment nor is he loyal. He will grow bored and leave you probably once that baby's out of you which is probably the only reason why he's with you. He can't be tamed dear so don't try" Mary-Alice says and Davina laughs.
"Oh you think I'm trying to tame him? I think you'll find I'm the one who needs taming more than him. We tame each other" Davina says making Mary-Alice scowl "you're nothing special" she spits making me glare at her "well that is your opinion now have a nice day" Davina replies linking her arm with mine and we start to walk away once again.
"You will not live to see the birth of your child" Mary-Alice sneers making us both freeze and we turn to her "what the bloody hell did you just say?!" "excuse me bitch?!" me and Davina snap at the same time. "Nothing" Mary-Alice says suddenly looking nervous as if she wasn't suppose to say anything "Was that a threat aimed at me?" Davina asks "it has been permitted that you won't live. You will die" Mary-Alice sneers making my blood boil and I feel my fingers twitch to snap her neck and kill her.
Davina walks over to her and grabs her by the shoulders before head butting her hard making a crack sound upon impact and Mary-Alice cries out as she stumbles back, holding her nose "you crazy bitch!" she snaps "I'm the crazy bitch? No you're the crazy bitch trying to harass and threaten me! You don't even know who I am and I don't take shit from people like you!" Davina snaps before swinging a punch at Mary-Alice who tries to slap her but I vamp speed over to them, grabbing her wrist and I snap it without any hesitation making her cry out in pain.
"Never threaten her again or try to lay a hand on her" I warn through gritted teeth as I glare at her "you'll both pay for this" she snarls cradling her wrist "oh god can we kill her?" Davina asks looking at me. "He wouldn't kill me" Mary-Alice says making me look at her and scrunch up my nose before I snap her neck "there we go" I say as her body falls to the floor.
Me and Davina turn around and walk away "do I need to be worried about running into anymore of your ex's?" she asks making me chuckle "no love" I assure her "I hope that's the case" she replies "well you shouldn't run into any since they are long dead as Mary-Alice should've been" I respond "I wonder how she's alive then unless the witches who oppose your family ruling and mine and my sisters unborn children have something to do with her suddenly rising from the dead?" she ponders making me pause "that could be the case" I say before wrapping my arms around and planting a kiss on the side of her head. "Come on let's get home" I say as we continue walking through the French Quarter.

No one's pov
Mary-Alice springs up gasping, holding a hand to her neck as she remembered feeling Kol's hands around her neck before she felt a sharp pain and everything went black. She looked and found herself on a stone slab in the cemetery "how'd I get here?" she pondered before looking up as she heard footsteps.
"We brought you here" Sabine said as she walked out from the shadows, not looking very impressed "Sab..." Mary-Alice started getting off the stone slab only to crumble to the floor in pain as Sabine held her hand out and chanted out a pain infliction spell on her.
"Do you know how stupid you were? Confronting Kol and Davina like you did?" Sabine snapped "I just wanted to see him and his wolf whore" Mary-Alice defended "I don't care what you wanted, I have a precise plan that you're suppose to follow. You weren't even suppose to go out yet not until Genevieve has done her part but now because of your insistent obsession over Kol you could've very well put the whole plan in jeopardy" Sabine lectured as she glared at the blonde witch.
"You're lucky I put a protection spell on you otherwise you would've stayed dead but I hope I don't regret it as I'm starting to regret resurrecting you in the first place" she said making Mary-Alice scramble to her feet, shaking her head "you won't regret it, I won't do anything stupid again. My head is in the game and I want to make the Mikaelson's pay. I want to kill Kol's girlfriend and their child" Mary-Alice said making Sabine smirk.
"I will be dealing with the matter of the children. Your focus is on Kol and Davina, I need you to get between them and tear them apart" Sabine replied "how am I suppose to do that? He seemed to be very happy with her" Mary-Alice said rather bitterly "drug him, seduce him do whatever. I want the bond between them to be destroyed to the point of no return for them" Sabine said she was particularly intrigued by the bond Kol and Davina seemed to have, it was something she hadn't quite seen before.
"I will not fail" Mary-Alice vowed with her head held high "you better not" Sabine warned she wanted no failures in this plan, everything must go according to plan to cause destruction of the Mikaelson's and the evitable death of the Mikaelson babies whose powers she would steal for herself.
However little did she know that things wouldn't go exactly to plan as she fiercely underestimated the Mikaelson's and in particularly Davina who would not take any threat lying down and would give anyone hell who tried to harm her or her family and loved ones.

What did you think? Kol overheard a conversation between Marcel and Rebekah. Mary-Alice made herself known to Kol and Davina and pissed them off. Davina showed Mary-Alice she's not one to piss off. Kol killed her but there was a protection spell on her so she's still alive. Sabine has ordered Mary-Alice to tear apart Kol and Davina. What will happen?
