I was in a really good slumber. It was quiet, the bed was super comfy, and I just felt so relaxed. That was until someone slaps my face and I jump awake in bed. I hold my face and when I look at the person it was my sister.
"Oh, my god Katherine." I jump up from the bed and hug her tightly. I was afraid to let her go.
"Maddison!" She hugs back and rest her head in top of mines. "I seen him bring you in last night. Are you okay!?"
"I'm fine, I'm just shocked that he placed me in this bed and didn't throw me on the floor." She glances at the door and I look in that direction.
I roll my eyes and groan as I see Alaric/Klaus standing at the door. "Well, good morning sunshine." He walks over to the bed and looks at Katherine. "Leave."
She looks at me and I gesture for her to go and she does. "What do you want Klaus?"
"I really want you to lose the attitude." He says as I scoff.
"And I really want you to drop dead, but not all dreams can come true." I smile innocently and he grabs my throat.
"Watch it, I'll kill you and not think twice about it." I knee him in the stomach and he tumbles over in pain.
"If you wanted me dead you would've did it already." I roll my eyes as I walk out the room. He then pulls himself up from the floor and walks out behind me.
I walk over to my sister as she makes coffee. Alaric/Klaus then comes and stands in front of me. "When I get out of this weak body, I'll give you the punishment you deserve."
I chuckle and pat his chest. "Go fuck yourself." I push pass him and goes to sit on the couch. He glares at me as he goes over to his witch.
"I'll be back as soon as I can." The witch says as I listen in on their conversation.
"Yes, do hurry. I'm anxious to get out of this body. And if you get hung up, call me. You know how impatient I get." The man leaves and Klaus/Alaric closes the door.
"Where is he going?" My sister asked as she holds out her coffee for Klaus. I quickly vamp speed over to her and take it, pouring it down the drain. "Really?" I smile and nod.
Klaus/Alaric roll his eyes. "To retrieve me. So I can get out of this bad hair-do."
"Are you sure that's a good idea, Klaus?" I asked I as I cross my arms.
"Well, the full moon is almost upon us." He puts the moonstone on the table. "I've killed the witch, I have the moon stone, and the doppelgänger is waiting in the wings. Ohh, I am ready to break this curse."
"And why would you do that here? There's so many people that would try to stop you." My sister added and I nod in agreement.
"Because I have to. It's the birthplace of the doppelgänger."
"I didn't realize that was a requirement." I say sarcastically and he glares at me.
"Well, how could you? You and your sister betrayed me and fled England before I could give you the details, Madalina. But I did find your birthplace and I slaughtered your family. So I guess we're cool. Let's just hope that Elena isn't as stupid as your sister was." I slap him across the face super hard. He gets up from his seat and glares down at me.
"I'll never, EVER! Fix things with you!" I shake my head in disappointment and goes into the room, slamming the door behind me. I flop on the bed as I begin to cry. How could he say that without a care in the world. How do you want to fix things with someone, after you slaughtered their whole family. That's the thing about Klaus, he's one of my weaknesses weather I like it or not.
As I lay in the bed crying I hear the door open. So I take a pillow and place it over my head. "KLAUS GO AWAY!"
"He left, after compelling me to not leave until he say so." Katherine says and I sit up and look at her. She walks in and sits on the bed with me, pulling me into her arms. "I'm so sorry Maddie."
"You have nothing to be sorry for Kat, we got ourselves into this crap a long time ago." She rubs my back and I stare at the wall.
"As your older sister, I'm the one who's always suppose to protect you. Not the other way around, and I'm going to kill Damon for not keeping his promise." I look up at her and she smiles.
"Damon wasn't around when it happened, I was trying to help Bonnie who's not really dead by the way." She looks at me shockingly and I nod my head slowly. "Yea I know, he'll kill me for not telling him."
"Do you think you'll ever cave in?" I sigh and she roll her eyes. "Don't fall for nothing he says Maddie, you know all he does is lie."
"I know okay, you think I don't know that. He was my first everything!" I shout at my sister and she looks at me shockingly once again.
"Wait, he took your virginity? I thought Damon did." I shake my head no and she sighs. "Damn Maddison, you're in deep."
I roll my eyes and throws a pillow at her. "Can you just help me clear my head." She smiles and pulls me along with her as she turns on some music.
I smiles as I sit in a chair and start spinning in it to amuse myself while the music play. Katherine goes to open a cupboard and finds a bottle of bourbon whiskey. She takes it and turns to me and smile. I happily get up while she opens it and takes a drink from it. I then take it from her and takes a drink as well. We then hear someone with our vampire hearing.
"I don't think this is a good idea." A nervous Andie says.
"Investigative journalism....we're investigating." Damon and Andie are outside the apartment. She knocks on the door. "Alaric, are you home? Andie...Star, Jenna's friend."
Katherine tries goes to grab the doorknob but an invisible force prevents her hand from touching it. She tries again, gives up, and walks away from the door. I chuckle as I go and open the door. "Thank God."
"What the hell are you doing here?" Damon says and I point to my sister. "Right."
Andie enters. "Wow! You were right. She looks exactly like Elena."
"Yep." He says as he tries to enter, but can't. He then looks at Katherine. "Thought you might be dead."
"Unfortunately not. What are you doing here?" My sister asked and I go and have a seat in a nearby chair.
"Yea, if Klaus comes back you're dead." I say as I smile at the older Salvatore.
"We are here to rescue the both of you." Andies says with excitement.
"No, sweetie. We are here to see if Katherine deserves to be rescued. As for Maddison, she's free to come with us." He said as he smirks at me and I giggle.
"Right." Andie agrees and I roll my eyes.
"I figured you still might be kicking. Alaric-Klaus was blending way too easily. Figured he probably had some coaching." He shows us a phial.
"Is that...?" She asked shocked.
"Vervain? Your salvation." He said waving it around. "Sadly I only bought one."
"Maddison doesn't drink. And It's not going to undo anything."
"There's always a loophole. Did he tell you to stay in this apartment until he said it was okay to leave?" She goes to speak but finds herself unable to. "You can't say. Did he tell you to do absolutely everything he says until the end of time?"
"No." Katherine answers and I smile.
"There's your loophole. Drink this and it'll prevent any further compulsion." She comes closer to take it but she is unable to cross the threshold.
"Give it to me." She demands and I get up and walk to the door.
"Don't make me hurt you Dames." I smile innocently and he roll his eyes.
"Answer one question first. You both double-crossed us with Isobel, why?"
"We didn't think you could stand a chance against Klaus, so we were looking out for ourselves." She answers and I lean my head on the door.
"And where did that get you both? Here." He tosses her the phial. "Be careful with that. If he finds out you have that, you're never getting out of here." She drinks and coughs. "You owe me. And I will collect." He then looks at me. "You can leave, why aren't you?"
"I'm not leaving her with him alone. Besides he tolerates me, it's only a matter of time before I could convince him to let us go." I smirk at him and he smiles.
He then looks at Andie. "Come on."
"Nice to meet you." She closes the door.
I look at Katherine. "Is she always this happy?" My sister ask me and I hold a hand up.
"Don't even ask." We laugh and she turns the music up louder. She picks up the bottle of bourbon and starts drinking from it dancing. I vamp speed over to the counter top and dances on top of it as she passes me the bottle and I take a drink. She twirls around the lamp and I dirty dance while drinking.
Who knew that being trapped in a house by your evil ex could be fun.
Suddenly, we hear someone at the door. I jump down and we both vamp speed to the couch and I lay on it as she rest my legs on her lap. Klaus/Alaric enters. When he looks in the room he sees the position that we're in.
"You mind turning that down?" My sister uses the remote to turn down the music.
"Why so grumpy?" I asked as I sit up.
"Well, this body has outlived its usefulness." He says with a bit of attitude. I really hate this man with all my heart. At least that's what I tell myself everyday.
"Do you want a drink?" My sister asked as she gets up.
"No, Katerina, I don't want a drink." He snarls at her.
"Come on. It might loosen you up." She offers him the bottle. He takes it and throws it against the wall, smashing it.
He compels her. "What I want is for you to sit down and shut up." She sits down on the couch.
"How about you stop being a dick, she was just offering you something that you clearly need!" I snap at the original and he chuckles.
"I don't remember you being this mean...I like it." He smirks at me and I push pass him and sits next to my sister. "The reason I haven't compelled you yet is because I know you won't leave, especially with out your sister." The witch from earlier then walks in the apartment. "Maddox, what took you so long?"
"You've got a lot of luggage." Two men enter with luggage. A dark skinned girl with curly enters as well.
"Hey, that's the girl who was at the school." I mentioned and she smirks at me. "Bitch." I vamp speed towards her, but before I could touch her I fall to the ground screaming.
"GRETA!" Klaus/Alaric yells at the witch and she stops. I glare up at her and he helps me off the ground. I push him away and goes to lay on my sister's lap. "Don't ever do that again understand?"
She nods and I roll my eyes. "I don't need you pretending to care about me asshole."
"That's the thing, I'm not pretending." He looks back at the witch. "Finally you made it."
"Nice body, You ready to get out of it?" Two other men arrive with a giant wooden crate. Katherine and I looks at them.
They start to set everything up and once they're done, Maddox and Greta gets on their knees to start casting a spell. There are lit candles all around them. Klaus/Alaric is standing next to the box, his head bowed and eyes closed. Katherine looks at me. "Phasmatos Tribum, Nas Ex Veras, Uenes Phasmatos Et Sonos. Ex Tutam Exum Lamia Matus."
"I want you to run before he comes out that box." I snap my head at her and she holds up a hand. "You have to I don't wanna hear it, run Maddison."
"I'm not leaving you how many times do I have to tell you this!" I whisper shout and she roll her eyes.
"You need to go!!!" They stop the spell and we all look at Alaric. He opens his eyes and he looks at Katherine.
"Elena?" He collapses. Maddox then stands up and opens the box.
"MADDISON GO!!" I look at her.
"Katherine plea-" I cry out.
"GO!!!!" She yells and I quickly vamp speed out of the apartment. Leaving my sister behind.
