Rindou's POV
If there's a place that I could hide Y/n from everything, I won't hesitate to do it, but knocking off her freedom will only make me a monster if I do it. First of all, I don't know why I suddenly have these affectionate sensations towards her. She isn't my type, She's not the woman that I would have for the rest of my life. I only love one person, and no one can change about it even I entered into such stupid relationships.
Maybe because Y/n is just way too attractive for me that I can't control my desire towards her. Or that's what I reckoned so. She's a different and independent woman that surely everyone will like.
I got so mad with Ran because he mentioned an inappropriate word that I don't want to hear. We have arguments at home, but then Rio stops us. To calm down, I decided to have a stroll around Tokyo along with these two underlings following me.
The sun is about to set and then I found a place that I could watch and catch some air. I stopped on the riverside in Shibuya. Didn't think that I reached here. I also heard about this new gang Tokyo Manji-Kai. I wonder how strong they are.
I went down my motor and walk on the grass. Hands-on my pockets as I was staring at the river. I went down silently but to my surprise, I saw this lady laying on the grass, must be taking a nap. I just stared at her while her hair is dancing along the grass.
"Ri--ohhh. We've got a babe here." this guy stared down at the girl while he's playing with his hands.
"Let's wake her up." He looks at me but he didn't receive a response from me."
"No, how about let's taste first...yeah that sounds good." I puckered and look at the river.
"Do as you please, don't talk to me." I did listen to what he's saying but I wasn't paying attention to what he's doing. Until I just heard him fall to the ground. I look back at them, then the least I saw was she's standing and looking up at me.
Her fair skin would match the color of the sunset.
Everything starts on the riverside. I got mad and pissed for calling me lame, then I'd fucking found out that she's friends with Toman. So because of that, she got my interest, I needed to make her pay for what she said.
While I'm doing those, we're like a dog and cat. The hell is that. I guess everything that happened between us matters.
"Let go of Y/n." I coldly said staring down at Smiley who's carrying her back. I don't want to hear anything but Y/n's heavy breath consumed my ear and my brain. Why would Y/n cross the line just to save someone's life?
I don't see anyone but only Y/n's body with all blood coming behind here. I don't understand her when it comes to her friends. Would she rather die because of her friends than her dreams?
She uses her very own body, before Baji could stab his own, he caught him off guard and hug Baji in front the reason why her lower back meets the knife.
"Let go of Y/n." I rasp. Smiley gripped her.
"Why wou--"
"I kill you if she dies."
If only I know that these will come, I should have stopped her in the first place when I saw her past us.
I pushed Smiley and take over Y/n. She was breathing heavily while looking at the sky.
"T-take B-baji at the h-hospital." Her tears fall on the corner of her eyes. I greeted my jaw. Not yet throwing up blood but I know her vision started to get blurry at this point. I don't feel anything. Do I feel scared? Nauseous? My stomach feels empty, I'm mad.
"I bring you there," I uttered staring at her. She blinked her eyes and then her eyes are now on me. She smiled and nod her head. "I...I was right that...you're here."
"Stop talking, tch." I look at my back and waited for Ran to come bringing my car. I carried her, my hand would slip through her skin because of her blood.
"Rindou, come quickly." Ran uttered as he stopped the car in front of us. I walk and was about to bring her inside when I felt her hands went up to my cheek.
"I...I'm begging you..bring Baji..with us." She sobs as she throws up blood on my clothes. I need to hurry up, she'll be in critical condition.
"Rio!! Bring Baji with you! Immediately head to the hospital we're heading!" I look at Rio. I'm not here to help anyone neither Toman. I don't care if Baji die. But it's Y/n here. She risks her own life to save Baji.
"But we should not do it!" Rio shouted. "This will be the first and the last," I uttered and immediately went inside the back seat. That fucking ambulance is not yet coming, the cops are even the first ones to reach here.
I don't want to talk with her right now. I don't know how to handle this kind of situation. I can feel her hot blood rushing and fall in my pants.
"Hurry up, Ran," I uttered and look down at Y/n. "I am trying." Ran answered.

Rindou run inside the hospital when they arrived. You're losing too much blood just like Baji. Rindou followed until they reach the E.R.
"Sir, you can't go in." Rindou knows it. He can't be with you right now. He gulps and walks around, not feeling okay. Not feeling anything. He feels empty and there's so many what if's in his mind.
Baji's also in the other emergency room. Chifuyu and Takemichi are waiting for the result as well.
"Why did Y/n do it?" Takemichi sob standing in the hallway.
As Rindou and Ran wait for the result, Emma, Hina and Yuzuha heard the horrible information from Hakkai and Mitsuya. The three girls immediately went to where you are only to see a bloody Rindou standing silently near the ER's door.
Ran blankly stared at the girls whose waiting for a response. Since Rindou is not talking Ran made his own to talk.
"There's no result yet. But as much as I know, Y/n got stabbed on her lower back. There's a possibility that she can't walk anymore." Ran said and look at his brother. He can feel the emotions building up to his younger brother. This is the second time he cares about a girl for such a long time.
"H-how can you say about it?" Emma stuttered and look at Ran. Ran crossed his legs and stared at the ladies.
"Why are you even with Y/n..." Yuzuha uttered then she looks at Rindou. "Don't tell me him and Y/n..."
Hina sits on the chair and can't help but cry. She didn't imagine that this will happened. You got stabbed already and now it happened again but for a reason to save Baji.
"What if he's telling the truth." Hina mumbled and wiped her tears. It took hours for the doctor to get out of the ER. Rindou immediately faces the doctor.
"How's she??" Rindou said and can't deny the worriedness in his voice. The ladies and Ran went closer as well.
"Are you her fam--"
"Shut up! And tell me the result already!" Rindou impudently said. Ran quickly stop his brother. "Calm down, Rindou! This is not the time to get mad!" Rindou breathed heavily and mumbled an apology.
"She's already stable. Aside from losing her blood, thank goodness that we have stock to donate for her. It's a piece of good news for her to be stable already, but after we do neurological exams on her spine. The CT scan and the MRI's result was she injured her spine and the result of having an incomplete injury. At this point, she won't walk for at least a year or after six months if she will be an SCI survivor."
"I'm glad.." Emma uttered and hug Yuzuha and Hina.
"Y/n will sure be practising to walk so that she'll be an SCI survivor."
It feels like Rindou became deaf after hearing the result. Y/n's stable and that's a relief but her lower parts won't function. What if she got stabbed deeper. What will happen?
He pushes Ran silently and Rindou headed to the restroom like a walking zombie. As he gets in, he can't help but to get teary eyes tho he immediately wipe them.
"Dumbass Y/n." He laughs as tears start falling on his eyes. "Don't be in danger like that." He looks at his hands that's covered in your blood.

"Mommy! *baby chuckles* wake up already!"
"Izu! Stop disturbing Mom!"
What is it? Why do I hear kids running inside my room? I opened my eyes but where am I?? A dream? Why am I at the bottom of the sea? My body is floating and I can breathe normally.
But my body is paralyzed. I can't move my arms either my legs.
"Mimi Senju? why Mommy isn't waking up??"
"Ah, I don't know."
I blinked my eyes multiple times when I saw Senju's face above me. It looks like she's on a TV screen. She's smiling brightly and then another screen shows up.
"Y/n! See you later!!" It's Hina and Yuzuha waving their hands probably to me. Why am I seeing this? Is this a dream? Emma and Yuzuha look matured.
"It's Dadi Waka for you little boy." I wondered my eyes only to see Wakasa smiling and staring down at someone.
"Papa Smiley!!"
"Dada Ken!"
"This is peke j??!"
"Takemichi, you're gonna marry Hina soon!"
"Gotta be the best man?"
"How about if I marry her?"
"I'm sorry."
My lips trembled and my head hurts as my voice starts to piss my ears, the screen starting to sum up showing those people that's important to me. It hurts to see them that I don't even understand why. I can't move my own body. What caught my attention was myself on the screen that pops up in front of me. Why am I crying? Am I in pain? I myself mumbling something on the screen but I can't hear it.
What's happening to me??
"He said that you're gonna loss yourself because the person that's important to you was taken away."
Your eyes open widely only meeting Mikey's face staring down at you.
"Ohh!! Y/n's awake already! Gotta call a doctor gotta call a doctor." He sang and pressed something on the wall above your bed.
"M-mikey, what happened?" You rasp and rub your eyes. He looks at you and smiled and shook his head. You look at the white ceiling reminiscing what exactly happened. You gulp and look at Mikey.
"Is Baji alright?" You ask and hoping that he is okay and alive. Mikey sits next to you using the chair.
"Y/n, thank you." You pursed your lips. Mikey took your hand where the IV is injected. "You shouldn't have done it..but if it wasn't of you, Baji would have died." Mikey stared at you as tears fall on his eyes.
"I'm also glad that you are okay and awake now." You smiled a little and wiped his tears.
"I'm glad that he's okay. I should see him." You uttered and was about to sit down but Mikey stopped you.
"Y-you probably should not stand yet. Let's wait for your doctor." He uttered and pushed you back gently. He was right because you suddenly felt pain behind you and you also feel odd on your body.
"How many days I'm bedridden?" You asked.
"5 days. Draken and Emma are on their way here, they're buying food outside. It's good timing since your awake, you can eat now."
"Hmm. How about Baji?? How is he?"
"He's already good, he woke up two days ago and now having fun with Chifuyu in the other room."
"I wanna visit him and slap him if I see him." You said and chuckled. You look at the door that opened, revealing the doctor.
"I'm glad you're awake now, Miss L/n." You stared at the doctor.
"How's you're feeling today??" She asked then she placed the stethoscope on my lower breast. "I'm good but I don't feel my legs. What's wrong??" You ask concerned. The doctor smiled at you and lifted the blanket a little.
"You've got a physical trauma, but telling you would be better if your parents are here. You're gonna be fine for sure. Just take more rest for now." She smiled and shove her hand inside his pockets.
"I'll be examining your body later so you better have some energy first."
After that, the doctor already leaves. You blinked your eyes and stared at the ceiling.
"Mi--"
"Y/n!! Oh my gosh! Waahh Y/n's awake already!!" You look at the door and are surprised to see Emma and she runs quickly towards you.
"I miss you y'know. We have lots to talk about! I'm glad you're awake! Omg, I'm going to call Hina and Yuzu." She giggles and went out. You chuckled and watch her leave.
"Do you want something Y/n? We bought a lot of food today." Draken asks as he placed the food on the nightstand.
"I'm fine with water." You uttered. You used your hands to make yourself sit on your own. You stared at your covered legs and you can't feel it.
"Here." You accept the glass of water and drink it afterwards. You secretly pinch your legs but you didn't feel hurt at all. Your heart starts to beat and you suddenly feel scared.
"Ken-chin, my lunch? how about my dorayaki?" You look at Mikey who's looking for his food in the plastic bag.
"H-hey. Can't I walk anymore?" There was a moment of silence to the three of you even the chirping birds. Both of them stop and look at you worriedly.
"It's not like that, Y/n," Draken said and went near at you. He holds on to your shoulder and smiled a little.
"It's just trauma. I'm sure you'll get over it." Your head puckers and look at your legs. "But I can't feel my legs anymore." Your lips trembles and cry like a child. You're scared. What if you can no longer walk? What will happen to you? What if everyone sees you as an encumbrance? You don't want to be a burden either to your parents. How about your dreams?
"Y/n don't cry. You still have a chance to walk. The doctor will explain it to you when your parents arrive later." Draken wiped your tears and carried your body for you to lean on the headboard.
"We'll wait for you to be heal, Y/n. We're going to throw a party if you can walk already." Mikey said to reassured your feelings. "You don't need to be scared. Friends help each other and we'll do it for you, Y/n." Your sob stop after seeing Mikey's bright smile. You sniff and rub your eyes.
"You better saying the truth here." You mumble. Both of them chuckled but it was then stopped when both of them look at the door.
"Y/n." While rubbing your eyes you glace at the door only to see Rindou with his bag. "R-rin." You said under your breath. You're eyes widen and look at Mikey and Draken if they're going to say anything.
Wrong timing!!! We're exposed you stupid Rindou Augrhhh!!!
"Hmm. We're getting out first, Y/n." Mikey said and look at you. "See yah." He smiled and head out with Draken passing your boyfriend. The tension between them is so cold. Rindou take off his glass and stared fiercely at you. You gulp and look at the emotionless Rindou who's walking over to get closer at you.
"W-why....stupid! Do you know th--hmph." Your proclaim was stop when his lips claim yours right away. His calloused hand were behind your head pressing it to him and gently kissed your lips. Your body softens because of him.
"How's the feeling of waking up?" He uttered and sit next to you. You blushed because of him looking handsome today. He's handsome without his lens but because he's farsighted he needs it, though why doesn't he use a contact lens.
"Good." You mumbled and stick out your tongue. Rindou saw the strand of your hair fall on your face.
"I see." He uttered and pushed your hair behind your ear, and it made you flutter even more. Rindou saw how your pale face became slightly pink.
"Now you're blushing." He flicked your head and smirk when you groan. "Ain't you miss me?" He sounds so lonely between his cold self and that made your heartache for a moment. Does it affect him when you've got bedridden? You smiled and cupped his face.
"How about you?" His beautiful iris stared at you thoroughly. "I feel empty." He answered and silently feel your warmth on both palms on his face. You chuckled and kissed his head.
"I guess you love me?" Rindou rolled his eyes and fall his head on your chest. "Secret." You rolled your eyes and look at the window while Rindou decided to sleep though it was interrupted by someone. By a stupid handsomely bastard.
"Hmph! You two are coldly sweet huh." You are startled and look at the door side. Rindou stared back but his head was still on you, this man doesn't care whoever see the two of you but he doesn't do PDA's. It grossed him.
"Baji!!" You genuinely smiled. Yes, he is ALIVE :)
