Killian's P.O.V

"Sis."

Her older brother called to her. She looked towards them as her parents let her go so that her brothers could have their turn.

Her younger brother was the first to step forward. He picked her up and spun her around in his arms. The others follow suit, taking turns embracing her. At the end of it, they were all crying and laughing.

I took a step back, giving them some space, but staying close in case she needed me. Mik came to stand next to me.

"Are you going to tell them about their other daughter?"

I had thought about telling them, but I wasn't ready to get them involved. At least not until I found out what the f**k was really going on. After doing some investigation, I found out that Lacey Malcroft did exist. And she was indeed married to Richard. From what Mik could gather, the woman staying in the hotel was the real Lacey. What we hadn't figure out was, how did Red end up with her life, and why was she pretending to be Red? I wanted to make sure I had all this information before I revealed to her family what I knew.

"I'm going to play it by the ear for now. I want Red to meet her sister first."

Mik whistled. "I wonder how that will turn out?"

I wondered the same thing, but it had to happen. Both women needed to meet each other, and I needed to find out if the real Lacey actually believe she was my wife, or if she was pretending.

"Do you still not remember what happened that night?"

I knew which night he was talking about. It was the night those two idiots tried to kill me. The night I kissed my wife's twin sister. The night I got so f**king drunk and woke on the couch of the hotel room with no memory of what I did after I started drinking.

"No."

Mik rested his hand on my shoulders. "Are you going to tell Lilly? What if you did something that you can never take back?"

I turned to him, sighing. That was my biggest concern as well. I knew I needed to tell Red, but I kept putting it off, telling myself that the time wasn't right.

"You mean, did I f**k her?"

Mik snorted, "Yeah, that."

The f**k if I knew. I wasn't sure what happened that night and neither was she. We both got drunk enough to forget our own names. Although we woke up separately, in separate rooms. I woke up but f**king naked.

"I don't know. But I'd like to think that even if I'm pissed drunk, I wouldn't cheat on Lilly."

"Yeah, but you were drunk, and she does look like Lilly. No one would blame you if it did happen."

I would blame myself. Even if she did look like Red, the fact of the matter is, she wasn't Red.

"Let's not discuss this further, it's starting to give me a headache."

I didn't want to dwell on it further. Before I take Lilly to meet her twin, I would tell her everything that happened. For now, I just wanted to enjoy my wife and the mother of my children being back in my life.

"Jessica wants Lilly to come over this weekend. She's excited to have her best friend back."

I told Red about Jessy and the relationship they had. She had laughed and smiled when I talked, but when I asked if she wanted to meet her, she declined. She said that it was all new to her and she wasn't quite ready yet. It was already overwhelming having to meet her family. She couldn't handle meeting another person who was expecting her to be their Lilly when she clearly wasn't.

She feared that people will not accept her for who she was. She thinks that they would not like the person she had become in the last five years. I tried telling her that they would love her just like I did, but I could tell that she didn't believe me.

"She's not ready yet. She needs more time."

Mik nodded. "Yeah, try telling Jessica that."

I laughed. "That's your job, man."

Red and her parents were all sitting and talking on the couch. They were asking her questions about her life and how she has been. She told them that she worked for the FBI and had lots of good friends. Her brothers talked about their wives and children. Red mentioned that she had triplets. She also told them about Rosey and Freya.

Lilith and Marco looked at each other in surprise. When Mik contacted them, I told him not to tell them about any of the kids. I wanted Red to be the one to tell them.

"Can we meet them?" Her mother asked.

Red turned to look at me, unsure. "Um, I um... you'll have to ask Killian. It's his decision."

Her father looked up at me with a glare. I smirked at him. f**k! I couldn't help myself. The man just rubbed me the wrong f**king way.

Lilith placed a hand on her husband's hand. Stopping him from saying what f**kery was about to come out of his mouth.

"That's okay. Whenever you guys are ready to let us meet them, we'll be happy to."

"Why don't you come and spend a few days with us this weekend?"

Marco pushed. Lilly looked uncomfortable. She smiled timidly, clutching her hands in her lap. As always, her father was starting to piss me off.

"She's not going anywhere."

Mik swore from beside me. I knew that he only stayed because he was afraid that I'd start a fight with her father.

Marco stood. "She's my daughter, you little bastard! I haven't seen my daughter for over twelve years because of you. Her life is this f**ked up because of you. I f**king knew that you were no good for her."

I shrugged my shoulder, not caring. When I was younger, hearing his words would have upset and pissed me off. But now, I didn't give a f**k. I was at peace with myself. I knew what I did, and I accepted it with no regrets.

"Are you going to keep singing that same old f**king tune, Marco? It's outdated by twelve years."

Mik swore again and whispered. "What the f**k is wrong with you?"

Nothing was wrong with me. I just didn't have the energy to deal with any of his bullshit. His daughter was my wife and the mother of my children. Why the f**k was he still trying to separate us. We've been through heaven, and hell together and still always manage to find our way back to each other. It was about time he accepted that we were meant to be together.

Lilith stood as well. Telling her husband to calm down. Her brothers tried as well, but the old fool was too worked up. He had years of hatred and resentment to release.

"No Lilith! This little f**ker stole our precious daughter and ruined her life. I don't think she's safe with him. I think she and our grandkids should come live with us."

Mik swore again next to me. However, this time he held my hand, telling me that I could not shoot my wife's father. I was so f**king pissed off at him. He thought he could take my family from me after I finally got them back. F**k that!

"Why don't you try taking her from me, old man?"

I pushed Mik off of me and was about to grab my gun. But stopped when I saw Red stood, frozen in fear. Her eyes were wide as she took in the scene playing out before her.

I let my hand fall to my side. Ignoring her father, I walked over to her and pulled her into my arms. She came easily, wrapping her hands tightly around my waist. She was shaking so bad. I held her closer, running my hand through her hair as I tried to calm her down.

"It's okay, baby. You're okay. Everything is going to be okay. I promise."

She nodded with her head against my chest, but I felt her body shake from her soft sobs. I inwardly cursed myself. I shouldn't have provoked her father, not after everything she'd been through and was still going through.

"I'm so sorry, Red. I'm so f**king sorry. I'm an idiot baby. I didn't think. I'm so sorry."

Her parents calmed down. Lilith apologised as well, but her father said nothing. It pissed me off, but I said nothing because I didn't want to upset Red further. Instead, I told them that it was best if they cut the meeting short because it was too overwhelming for Red.

Her father protested but, Lilith cut him off. She agreed that it was for the best and they left. But not before promising to keep in contact with her.

Mik escorted them out. When he returned, he said that he was going to get the kids and bring them back to the house. We had decided to send them to his house for the day because I wasn't ready for her family to meet them. And I guess I was right. After the way her father behaved, I wasn't sure I wanted him to meet my children. Not for him to try and brainwash them about me.

I held Red in my arms. She hadn't said a word. She stayed in my arms until her sob subsided and she fell into a deep sleep.
