As he was about to twist the doorknob, loud gunshots were heard outside and he immediately flinched at the sound.
"Shit." Jeongguk cursed under his breath, doe eyes widening in fear. Taehyung. Fuck, Taehyung is outside!
Jeongguk immediately dashed out of the room, not caring about his messy appearance.
His eyes widened when the whole church was covered in blood, screams of people echoed and a few bumped into his shoulder, running away for their dear lives.
He also saw the priest laying on the ground lifeless.
Jeongguk took a step back as his eyes caught the figure of a man standing in front. Arms crossed in his chest as he watched his men take many lives away, killing them.
Jeongguk recognized the man and he could feel his blood run cold.
"D-Daehyun." The man finally saw him and gave him a sinister smile that never fails to give shivers down Jeongguk's spine.
What is Taehyung's father doing here?! And more importantly why is he just standing there watching...?
He roamed his eyes everywhere and he could feel his body shiver in terror
"No way..." Daehyun's men are the ones that are killing everyone right now and Jeongguk just realized it.
"Hello dear Jeongguk." Daehyun spoke, walking towards the boy. "I see you came here along with your friend or should I say, boyfriend?"
Jeongguk took another few steps back away from the man. "W-Why are you doing this?!"
Daehyun let out a low chuckle. "Oh boy, you seem like you don't know everything. Didn't my son tell you?"
Jeongguk furrowed his eyebrows. "T-Tell me what?"
Daehyun's eyes lit up. "Oh there he is, my son."
The doe eyed male turned around and saw Taehyung holding a pair of clothes which are for him after their sexual activity into the priest's room.
"You see little one. Taehyung has kept a secret from you." Daehyun said, smiling at his son.
"Shut your mouth, father." Taehyung clenched his jaw in anger.
"What is he talking about Taehyung?" Trembling voice of Jeongguk was heard as the younger male stared at Taehyung in confusion.
"Should I say it now? Hah!" Daehyun laughed, loving the pained expression of Jeongguk.
"Taehyung is part of a mafia organization and is also a mafia heir. And you little one, doesn't have any idea about it." Daehyun spoke, now spilling the secrets.
"Taehyung is also the one who shot the kid in the face. He is also the one who ordered our men to barge into that carnival and killed everyone!"

Jeongguk could feel his breath tighten as he looked at Taehyung for answers but no, Taehyung just stared at him blankly.
Jeongguk shook his head, tears brimming in his beautiful doe eyes and took another step away from them, shaking his head in both disbelief and betrayal.
He does not believe this. No, Taehyung, his own lover, is not like that. He's not a fucking murderer, right?
"I-Is this true, Taehyungie?"
Taehyung didn't respond and instead gave him a blank stare.
The doe eyed male chuckled through his tears, feeling his heart shatter into pieces. His heartbeat raced at the thought of Taehyung, his own lover, killing someone.

What a great surprise for Jeongguk. He didn't expect that.
"It's true, huh?" Jeongguk mumbled under his breath and brushed his tears away by the back of his palm.
Taking Taehyung's silence as a yes.
Agonizing pain hit his whole chest as the thought of Taehyung's betrayal and his biggest secret that he kept away from Jeongguk.
Pretending that he is his savior when all along he is part of all this?! All of the murders that happened, Taehyung is one of the people who caused it?!
