My sleep was interrupted by alarm. I immediately opened my eyes and seen the time is 4'O clock. I stood up from my bed and did my morning routine. Once I ready for jogging, I gone out of our 3 story building house. I started my jog towards the park. After 1 hour, I completed my jogging. Then I did some more exercises, once I reached my room.
My room is the only one room which is occupied in this floor. And my family is comprised of Dad Ragunath who is working as Manager in some private company which I don't know. And coming to my mom no she is not. Actually I don't have one.
With this thought I started to get ready for the work. Once I took my bath, I weared my police uniform. Am an Assistant Commissioner of police for Chennai.
Once I get ready, I gone to the hall where everyone is sitting.
My dad who is reading the newspaper. And my mo... Step mom who is also sitting beside dad and speaking something. Then my step sister who is also sitting in the sofa and doing some project work is seems. She doing her college as engineering.
I don't usually speak with anyone. That's how I become once after every betrayal.
'Don't think Reyansh' my mind replied.
Before I goes out, I heard some voice.
"Anna, wait. Comeon atleast have some food and go" I heard a voice. I turned and seen it is none other than Jeevika who is my uncle's daughter. Both her parents were died when she was doing her college. And then she got married, but her husband too died. So, now she is an widow, whose age is just 25.
"Resh eat" I heard my nephew voice. Who is standing behind his mom jeevika. He is the only one whom I used to speak in this home freely.
"Ishaan come here" I called him. Jeevika let him to go.
"Resh" saying this he runned towards me with his every small feet. He is just going to be 3 year old.
"What you want for today" I asked him, once I scooped him in my arms. He grabbed my face in his small palm.
"Dairy milk" he said in my ears as if he is saying a secret.
"Done" I said to him. He kissed my cheeks. And I kissed his forehead.
Then I left him down. He runned towards his mom.
"Anna, breakfast" she again asked me. I nodded my head as no.
She just sighed and gone inside the room. I then gone out of the house and took my bullet bike. I can use the department vehicle, but I opt for my own.
After 30 mins, I reached my work place. Everyone, saluted for me while am entering into my cabin.
Many case files were pending, I started to do my work. In between, I met every inspector who is working under me and asked about their work and the case details. I don't give shits to anyone. I want everything to be perfect in my work.
I had my lunch, from nearby restaurant. Around 9 'O clock I windup my work. As for today there is no much of work.
I reached my home and gone to my room straightly.
I don't do friendship, I don't speak normally with anyone. Because of the continuous betrayal.
And most I hate woman.
I hate them.
All I faced is betrayal with them. Nothing else.
I don't want to think about anything. I just slept in my bed after having dinner. For dinner, I usually have it in my bedroom which is prepared by jeevika. That's it.
I don't know whether my life will be like this for ever. But it never will be a problem to me.
This loneliness is all I love.
Illankodi pov:
I wokeup from my bed, and seen that gayathiri is sleeping all over me.
"Gayathiri leave me" I groogily said at her.
"Akka, please don't leave me. I want my cushion please. Please 5 more mins" she said in her sleepy voice.
I nodded my head as no at her. I smiled at her actions and words. As now she wrapped her legs over me tightly.
She is something.
I started to ruffle her hair. Her hair is very long unlike me. She Is very beautiful girl with very beautiful heart.
After half an hour she left me. That too she didn't levae me by herself. It was mom who scolded her for sleeping like a log at 6.30. Then we both wokeup immediately. Once I finished my daily routine, including exercises, yes I will do. Then I entered into kitchen to help mom. Who is preparing the breakfast.
"Don't forget to prepare oats for you" she said at me. I just nodded my head at her.
Its always like this.
And I stopped eating whatever I likes a way back. As I started to eat according to their command.
Now a days I was behaving like a pre programmed system. I just heaved a sigh.
Gayathiri too came and helped me to prepare the breakfast. Today is leave for everyone as its Sunday.
After breakfast, me and gayathiri entered into our room. Chaaru like always taunted me during the breakfast.
When I will be free from everyone's mocking.
"Akka today what is the plan" Gayathiri asked me.
"At evenging friends meetup" I said to her boringly. As I don't have any loyal friend to me. They all my college mates.
"I too will accompany you. Is that okay to you" she asked me. I brightly smiled at her.
"Yes" I said at her.
Then I prepared lunch for everyone, and mom insisted me to prepare chapathi for me for lunch.
I too obliged at her and prepared it for me.
At lunch, we all started to have our lunch.
"She is eating like chapathi, oats. But why she didn't get reduce her weight. I fedup with her appa and amma. I don't hope so, that she will get married anytime soon." chaaru started to speak looking at me. That's it I lost my appetite.
Gayathiri squeezed my left hand, as she sat beside me.
" Akka eat "I heard my lil sis voice. I know what chaaru said is right. But am trying to reduce my weight. But couldn't, how will it. When all am doing is having stress. Heavy stress.
" Chaaru, she will reduce her weight eventually " appa said.
" Yes now eat "amma said.
I started to stood up. But mom scolded me for wasting the food. So I sat and ate the two chapathi.
Around 3, me and gayu started to get ready for meetup. And am glad that she is a companying me
Once we both get ready, we started to mive toward the bus stop. We have one scooty, which chaaru took already out. So we both opted for bus.
"Akka when the bus will come" gayathiri asked me.
"How do I know" I shrugged at her.
After 5 mins, we both got the bus and hoped on it. Luckily the bus is not having much rush. We both even got the seats. Gayathiri took the window seat, and me took the seat beside her.
"Akka, it's been 2 month right. Like we both gone out" She asked me. I nodded my head at her.
"Yes gayathiri" I said
Once we reached the destination, we both get down from the bus and walked to the restaurant which my friends planned for meetup.
We both entered into it and started to search for my friends. There kavya is sitting in the corner seat.
I gone towards the seat and sat in front of her.
"Hii Kavya, how are you" I asked he as soon as I sat before her.
"Hey illankodi, how are you girl." she asked me. I smiled at her.
"Am fine" I made gayathiri to sat beside me.
"Where are others" I asked her.
"They are on the way" saying this she started to use her phone.
I just awkwardly sat, but gayathiri helped me in giving me company. After 10 mins, everyone came.
"How are you all" I asked them. Overall 5 members excluding me and gayathiri.
"Fine" vaishali said. I nodded my head. They all started to speak among themselves. I hate this. They always like this. I don't know why they were calling me if they don't want me to involve in their activities
"Hy illankodi, can you please take care of my Pavya" saying this Srimathi asked me.
Its her 3 year old daughter.
She immediately came towards me. I made her to sit above my lap. Gayathiri and me started to play with her. She kept on playing with my saree.
"Hy illankodi, when you are planning to get married" asked kaavya.
I don't know what to say.
"Mam order" we all heard water voice. Thank god. Gayathiri squeezed my hand.
They all gave their orders. And here comes my order.
"Illankodi, say yours. Am sure you will opt for salad and lemon juice right" Srimathi asked me.
"Offcourse, how she will eat foods
As she itself waiting to get married. We all know she has to reduce her fat or else no one will marry her" said krithiga.
"Yeah" I slowly said and gave the small smile at them. They all laughed at me. My heart felt heavy.
Gayathiri tried to speak, I just grabbed her hand and nodded my head as no.
I don't know why am like this. I want to stand up for myself. But couldn't able to. Because, because they all right here. Am fat, so no one will marry me. Who will marry the whale, when there are plenty of beautiful girls.
Once the waiter gone, everyone started to chit chat. I just kept thinking about my fucked up life.
I heaved a sigh.
Everyone who Is around me is married and some where having a children too. They all are very beautiful girls. And me still unmarried and fat.
Once the order arrived, everyone started to devour their snacks. I helped Pavya to eat her icecream.
And I started to eat my salad. Which I hate it along with my life. Without any choice I started to eat it.
"Hy kaavya, I put some weight right" krithi asked at kaavya. Ahh, here comes their drama. She is lean and beautiful. Then what the fuck is her problem.
" No krithi. You look same no worries krithi. We all are looking same except ilankodi, she is put some weight." kaavya said

Gayathiri grabbed my left hand and turned me towards her and showed me a scoop of ice cream.

She scooped some more ice cream in spoon and feed me.
"I think you all are educated right" gayathiri asked them all by placing the unfinished ice cream on the table.

"Because just to confirm am asking. That you guys are educated, that too did your graduation In teacher field. Am I right." she asked them.
"Because you know, according to science, 7000+ calories needed to increase 1 kg weight in daily basis. And I hope noone can eat that much in normal basis. So eating a small piece of ice cream won't make her heavy. And coming to other points. Are you paying for my sister bills. No right. And what you asked, that regarding marriage right. Actually, she will get married whenever she wants. Don't you feel ashamed to even call yourself as her friends. Here some of them were a mother. I feel bad for your children. Having devil as mother figure, is bad you know "saying this gayathiri just took Pavya from my lap. Then gave her to mother. Then she took my hand, and put some money on the table.
" Fucking goodbyes " she shouted at them.
Then she took me out of the restaurant.
" Gayathiri what you did is wrong." I said at her.

Then we both gone to our home. When we reached, there marriage broker were sitting and talking with appa. Ahh not again.
"If alone she reduce some weight, she can get matches for her." I heard his voice.
"We are trying it. Can you search again." Mom said. Gayathri just grabbed me inside to our room.
"Sit here" saying this she gone out. But I too followed her, as I know she will start to shout at that broker. So in fear I too followed her.
"Uncle, can you stand up and touch your feet" gayathiri asked.
"What why" that broker asked.
"Gayathiri go inside" dad shouted at her.
"Appa please stay silent" gayu shouted.
"Gaythiri" I too called her feebly. Why because for me everyone is fighting.
"Stop akka. Just stand up for yourself akka. Who the fuck he is, why he is preaching to you reduce your weight. Who is he first of all. Do your job Mr. Whoever. Don't try to preach your words to others." she shouted at him.
Mom just grabbed her inside to our room and I too followed them. She closed the room. And slapped her. All happened in split second. I kept seeing what is happening around me.
We both shockingly looked at mom. She have beaten us many times, but not after we all grownup.

Gayathiri just moved from her and sat on the bed.
"Mom why did you slapped her" I shouted at her.
"Then what I have to do. She is speaking in higher tone, like if she is elder than him. Whatever he saying is true right. You are fat, if you not reduce your weight, then no one will marry you. Every problem is because of you. Only because of you" she shouted at me.
She is right.
"Am sorry" I slowly muttered. As the tears were again started to form in my eyes.
"Keep your sorry with you. And try to reduce your weight." saying this she gone out of the room.
"Gayu am sorry. Because of me mom slapped you right" I slowly asked at her. She just nodded her head as no.
"No akka, it's not like that. It's just because I questioned. Its just because I talked back to that broker. We all know right how we are preached not to talk back. Not to ask questions. That's it akka. These are nothing akka
Don't take mom words." she said and slept in her side. I sat beside her for few mins and kept ruffling her hair. Once she slept, I gone inside the bathroom along with the clothes.
Once I locked the door, I opened the shower and sat under it.
" Why god why. Why I can't reduce my fat. I look ugly. I know it. But don't I deserve to be married. I hate the word marriage. Atleast take my life god please" I cried.
After some time, I removed my water dripping clothes from my body. And looked into the mirror. Indeed I look very ugly. Very......
My double chinned face.
My thick arms.
My small neck where the ornaments(necklace) will also get hided because of my fat.
My big breast.
My fat stomach, where am having the enormous stretch marks.
My thick thighs with cellulite.
I hate everything.
"Indeed very ugly Ilankodi" I slowly said.
"No one will marry you" I again uttered.

"Because you are ugly. An world ugliest girl." I said and laughed at my state.
After that, I bathed and came out after changing into good clothes.
There gayu is sleeping.
I then gone out of the room. My eyes were itching because of crying. Ahh. Then I gone to the kitchen to help mom. But I stopped as I heard a voice.
"What did he said mumma" I heard a chaaru voice.
"What he will say. Like always asking her to reduce the weight. That's all" Mom replied.
"Mom it's right. Better can we join her in gym." she asked mom.
"I too thinking about the same. I can't make it more late. I want her to get married, so that I can able to be relief that I made settled atleast one daughter. As you know right, it won't be difficult to make you both getting marry. You both were very beautiful unlike your elder sister. I don't know why she alone is ugly. "Mom said by nodding her head as no.
I just kept digesting the words which my mom uttered.
'It's true ilankodi' I thought. I cleared my eyes and went inside to help mom.
As chaaru won't help mom. So it will be difficult for mom to do everything single handedly.
"Amma, what I need to do for dinner" I alsed her slowly.
"Just reduce your unwanted fat" saying this charru smirked at me.
"Prepare pongal for everyone. And for you prepare Oats" saying this mom gone out. Behind her chaaru too followed. Once they both gone out. My tears were kept falling.
After preparing everything, I arranged everything on the floor. Then I gone to my and gayu room.
To Call her for dinner. But she insisted me to take her food to the bedroom itself. I too take mine and hers.
She took my hand and made her to sit beside her.
"Akka comeon, its been more than a month that we both alone ate together" she said. I nodded my head at her.
I don't know what I will do If I don't have gayu. She is my world.
She tried to feed me the pongal. But I said that I don't have mood.
"Akka we both will share our foods. Comeon" saying this she started to feed me the pongal as well as oats.
We both even cracked some jokes and spend a good time. After our continuous bickering and speaking. She slept in my lap.
She is like my child.
Then I made her to lie properly on the bed and covered her properly with the quilt.
Then I gone to the balcony of this room. And leaned over the barrister and kept looking at the moon.
"I don't know what the future holds for me. I just hope, atleast there I will be happy. But I know reality of my life" I sadly uttered.
"Is there anyone to love me for me" I again asked. Like a desperate girl for a love.
"I know no one is there" I said again. And smiled sadly.
Reyansh pov:
"Am there" I said.
"Rea... Rely" ishaan said.
"Yes my ishaan. Am there for you. Don't cry, and we both will go out this next weekend okay" I asked him. He started to jump in arms. I don't know whether he understood my whole sentence. We both were standing in the balcony of my bedroom. He is pestering me to took him out.
His smile is all I needed. I know how it will be feeled to left alone. That I don't want to think. I don't want ishaan to feel that he don't have anyone to take care of him and to fulfill his wish.
He slept over my shoulder itself. Then I made him to sleep in my bed beside me. He wrapped his hand over my neck.
