The forests outside of Coolsville were peaceful and calm. The wind blew softly and calmly through the trees while the birds lightly chirped in response. The sky was a painting of blue and white, with no sign of any planes up in the sky. Everything seems so calm...
Suddenly, a blue/green swirling portal appeared out of nowhere, the faint sound of a rumbling engine could be heard within the vortex of the portal. A moment goes by, then a black Dodge Charger muscle car raced out of the portal as it closed up behind it, the muscle car sliding across the dirt before ending up on a tarmac road and comes to a stop with a screech of its tyres.
The occupants onboard, Braedey, Carol, and Wanda all shook their heads from the feeling of going through the vortex of the Spacebridge. The trio then got out of the car, looking around at the landscape around them.
"Wow. I'm finally home." Braedey smiled, finally being home for the first time in over a decade. Only to discover, it was strangely silent. "Wait, it's never this quiet." He said, adopting a confused and concerned expression on his face. "Wait. Something isn't right..."
Carol and Wanda stepped out of the car as well, both of them looking around at the world they're now in. It felt almost like their old universe, except they could sense the faint of energy in the air. They deduced that it's this Energon that Braedey also has within his veins.
"So, where do we start from here?" Carol asked to Braedey.
"We should head down into the city and see what's going on." Braedey suggested to them. "You two can fly, while I'll take the car. Give you the chance to stretch your arms and legs after the journey."
The two women agreed, and they now began to hover above Braedey and his car as they drove/flew down into the city. But as the trio go along, they took note that people weren't out and about: they all seem to be in hiding inside their homes and buildings. Nobody was going about, let alone any sign of any Autobots or even soldiers about on patrol. Things must have changed...
Braedey now found a newspaper lying on the ground. He picked it up to see what the date is, and to his surprise, he saw it was now the year 2020. "Wait. The year was 2015 when I ended up in your universe from mine... So only FIVE YEARS have passed by?" He said in bewilderment.
"Guess time and space work very differently in other universes." Carol took a guess. She gently patted his shoulder. "I'm sure you'll see your family and friends soon."
Just then, the sound of rumbling engines could be heard, Braedey now having some PTSD since he now thought about incoming Decepticon attack. Quickly, Braedey, Wanda, and Carol immediately made their way into an abandoned warehouse. Once they were hidden, they looked outside to see Cybertronian jets flying overhead, the jets bearing Decepticon insignias on their wings as they crossed the skies above.
"Those jets flying about, that's not a normal thing, right?" Wanda asked to Braedey.
"No. Something is definitely wrong here. Decepticons would never fly in pattern formation unless it's a time of war." Braedey said to the sorceress. He narrowed his eyes at the departing jets, as well as the silence around the city. "Coolsville has never been like this..."
"Hey, what's this?" Carol asked, now pulling off a piece of paper a nearby closed Speedy Slushies. "'Human/Autobot Alliance order Zulu-626: all restaurants and places of public groupings are shut down for security reasons'?"
"The orders don't go that high up the ladder unless it's something very important." Braedey countered next. He cupped his chin in thought. "And no order like that even exists. Someone must've taken control or something..."
It was here, down at a nearby electronics store showed a broadcast of the Malcolm National. However, what confused Braedey was who was doing the broadcast.
"How is Malcolm back in action again?" Braedey asked confused. "Grandpa Jackson and I had shut down his program after his false accusations back in 2014."
"Good Day, planet Earth. William Malcolm of the Malcolm National, Live from Coolsville Park, where member of the accursed Human/Autobot Alliance who is in league with the killer leader Starscream, Jessie Martin will be executed in just 15 minutes." The egotistical human announced to the camera, shocking Braedey and the other two to no limits. "As a reminder, attendance for the humans of Coolsville is mandatory."
William Malcolm is an arrogant man who just loved to be on air. And when Braedey's secret identity was made public, he turned his sights on Braedey, doing everything to make sure the menace was brought to "Justice", even going so far as to make a robot capable of matching majority of his forms at the time. After his exposure on the worldwide media, Malcolm's popularity went downhill. So to save face, he decided to join up with the newest gang of MECH soldiers to turn all Cybertronians on Earth human, unaware their machine was meant to kill them. So Braedey destroyed it, finally exposing Malcolm for the snake he is, and he finally lost his position in the media.
"Did he say he's going to kill your cousin?" Carol asked enraged.
"Did he just say Starscream is the leader?" Wanda next asked in confusion.
"They are assuming the Alliance is in league with the Rebel Decepticons, the Alliance being the faction sworn to protect all sentient life against any and all hostile threats." Braedey clarified to them, his anger rising like a volcanic eruption.
"So, are we going to crash a public event or what?" Carol said with a devious smirk.
"Yes. Let's break some stuff!" Wanda smirked.
Just then, the rumble of a muscle car got the trio's attention, just as they saw a blue/black muscle car race in with screeching tyres. Just seeing the vehicle was enough to make Braedey smile.
"I recognise that muscle car anywhere..." Braedey gave a low chuckle, now walking towards the car as it slid to a stop. The driver's side door opened up, and a familiar figure stepped out. "It's been some time... old friend..." He nodded, as some familiar vehicles drove up next.

About 15 minutes passed. The park was filled with humans, all looking either afraid or infuriated and wanting to speak out. Keeping them in check were an assortment of robots painted like Vehicon troopers. Will Malcolm was to the side, ready for the scoop of the century. Braedey, in the crowd with his hood up, now looked up in annoyance to see those who are now leading this spectacle. The team of four were people Braedey had unfortunately been aquatinted with since his first summer with the Transformatrix, and they were more focused on trying to one-up Braedey, to no avail.
The first person is Kace North, AKA Commando. When he was little, Braedey once loved watching the TV show staring his twin. However, Kace soon became jealous of his twin's success, claiming he invented everything, and turned to a life of crime, using weapons that gave him enhanced jumping abilities.
The second person is Captain Overdrive, another idol of Braedey's turned supervillain who wore a high tech suit of armour. Now, it like a degenerate of Tony Stark's suits. Overdrive's popularity sunk like a rock after Braedey's identity was revealed, so he did everything to bring it up. He set up the kidnapping of actress Jennifer Blake, he released Terrocon robots from the Kaon Void, and tried to save the day again. Eventually, he kidnapped Braedey's now ex-girlfriend Jane and Jennifer, started calling himself Overload, but the name never really stuck.
The third person is Terrence Trillion, next to his robot babysitter Maxima. Terrence was a rich kid who went to school with Braedey in 5th grade. Terrence was jealous of Braedey to the point where he decided to banish him to another Dimension. This backfired and Terrence was sent there instead, and in the process, it prevented Terrence from aging. His attempts to destroy Braedey were more on the lines of making Terrence look good in front of the camera.
And finally, and most shockingly, Jennifer Blake herself, clad in a white MECH soldier's outfit. After the whole thing with Overload, she apparently fell in love with the armour-wearing nut. But that lasted three months after a faked kidnapping of theirs. Something about a bad night in the Bahamas or Costa Rico. No one knew fully, but Jessie wouldn't stop smiling for a month after that.
"This is going to be interesting." Carol admitted, now standing right near Braedey, alongside Wanda,
"You ready?" Wanda asked.
"As ready as I'll ever be." Braedey whispered back.
"Hurry it up, we don't have all day." Terrence said rudely. Several Vehicon robots brought Jessie to the main stage, chained up to the point her hands were behind her back.
"You always were pathetic, Terrence. This just proves it." Jessie said, the redhead clearly exhausted from whatever she's been through.
"Sticks and stones, Jessica." Trillion smirked.
"It's Jessie, you brat." The redhead snapped.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, William Malcolm of the Malcolm National here, reporting live as we witness a great day in the legacy of humanity." Malcolm said into the camera, after moving onto the stage.
"Legacy, my ass! You're nothing but a backstabbing coward!" One member of the crowd shouted out in rage.
"We were better with the other lady in charge." Another agreed.
"Wow, this guy really knows how to rile people up." Carol said harshly.
"Speaking from personal experience, yes." Braedey reminded.
"People, please. We are merely doing what's best for the universe, and to protect our humanity against the enemy of all Earth." Terrence said arrogantly, trying to calm the crowd.
"So what?" Braedey called out, walking over to the stage, his hood still up. "If Starscream is claimed to be so great, why isn't that high-heel so-called Rebel Decepticon coward standing here himself?" Everybody in the crowd gasped in shock.
"How dare you. Who do you think you are, Braedey Martin?" Terrence demanded in infuriation.
Braedey pulled off his hood and smirked back. "Last time I checked, Tiny. Yes, I am."
"It's Terrence, Martin!" Billions bellowed infuriatingly. It was here everyone paused hearing what the rich boy had said.
"Braedey is back?" One man in the crowd said excitedly.
"Who are his friends?" Another asked confused.
"He's back from the dead." A third spoke out.
"No way..." A woman added.
"You, why couldn't you just stay dead?!" Captain Overdrive demanded with a whine.
"You'd think that, but I heard you guys were causing trouble, so I decided to pull my cousin's behind out of the frying pan." Braedey said, clearly a playful jab at his cousin.
"Yep, that's him." Jessie said with a slight chuckle.
"What are you waiting for, get him!" Terrence demanded infuriatingly.
"You want Braedey, you go through us!" Carol spoke out, now tearing off her clothing to reveal her Captain Marvel outfit, she and Wanda now standing alongside Braedey.
"And you losers are?" Terrence demanded in confusion.
"His girlfriends, and the last two humans you want to mess about with." Wanda answered, her eyes and hands glowing red, just as Carol fired a cosmic blast at the stage, sending Terrence and the other enemies flying.
"Let's do this!" Braedey announced, now revealing the blue Autobot shield. "Autobots, attack!"
At once, Rex raced up in his muscle car, the civilians now running off for cover. Wanda conjured some magic power at three Vehicons that got too close to the civilians, sending them flying back.
"Time to go." Jennifer muttered under her breath, ducking away.
Commando lunged at the team. Rex, who absorbed the steel alloy of his car, then elbowed Commando in the stomach. He pivoted, delivering a powerful punch to the man's face, shattering the helmet.
"Thanks, partner." Braedey said with a smile.
"You got my back, we got each other's." Rex nodded. He then noticed Jennifer trying to get away. "I'll get her." Braedey nodded in agreement.
"We are so going to be here a while." Carol said as several Vehicons surrounded them.
"Are you insane-!" Terrence demanded, pulling himself from the rubble.
"Nope." Carol shrugged, now using her cosmic power to blast apart the Vehicons.
"Keep these guys occupied. I'll go for Jessie." Braedey ordered, now running off towards the stage.
"Get him!" Terrence ordered with a rising rage.
"As you wish, master." Maxima said in her usual tone, leaping down, claws extended. Overdrive was right behind her. Before anyone could say anything, Maxima was stopped by Wanda, the latter using her magic to hold her in place.
"If you want Braedey, you go through me!" Wanda declared as she landed in front of Maxima.
"Who are you, his girlfriend?" Maxima quipped.
"Yes, one of two." Wanda said with a smirk. With a quick strike, Maxima was reduced to a pile of scrap.
"Well then, looks like I get to-!" That was all Captain Overdrive got to say, before being frozen up to his neck Braedey using Freezerburn's power.
"That is payback." Braedey smirked back.
"You've all seen it here first people, the greatest menace, Braedey Martin has returned to this planet, with an assortment of freaks." William said into his camera, trying to put on a brave face.
"Oh, shut up." Braedey grunted, throwing a rock at Malcolm. "You miss me, cousin?" Braedey now asked Jessie with a smile.
"Like an itch you can't reach." Jessie said with an equally large smile.
"Don't even try it, Martin!" Terrence threatened, pointing his gun at the brunette.
"Or what?" Braedey asked, showing no fear. Before Billy could react, Captain Overdrive was tossed at Terrence, courtesy of Rex. Terrence then dodged, only to be struck by the shield, Braedey throwing it at the former, the shield coming back to him.
"Hurry it up, we don't have all day." Rex called.
"Alright." Braedey shot back.
"Uh, not to sound ungrateful, but who are they?" Jessie asked as Braedey undid the restraints.
"Well, long story short, I got fixed up and felt better, and I wound up in a dimension of heroes and other such forces." Braedey explained, now cutting off the chains. "Plus, found some new friends and allies."
"What about the AllSpark and the Transformatrix?" Jessie asked, rubbing her sore wrists.
"Long story." Braedey said with a shrug. "So what's up with that?"
"Long story short. NOW!" Jessie shouts this command into an earpiece communicator. A moment later, Autobots raced in and shifted into robot mode, now taking down most of the Vehicons.
"Braedey, hurry up and transform." Carol called eagerly.
"Thought you'd never ask." Braedey laughed, now changing into Beast Hunter Bumblebee. "Light 'em up!" He called, firing rockets and Energon blasters at several incoming Vehicons. Those that weren't taken down raised their hands, firing a several rounds at the. Jessie raised her arms, creating an Energon field around them.
"It is a great pleasure you managed to return when you did, Braedey. Things have not been easy without you." Prowl said with a grateful grin.
"I missed you, too." B.H Bumblebee said, moving his neck above the Energon wall and firing a lightning blast at an oncoming Vehicon army.
"Oh yeah, The Transformer is back." Jessie smiled.
"Time to finish this." B.H Bumblebee jumped up, now firing all weapons at the Vehicons, turning them all into scrap metal.
"So what, Martin?" Terrence shouted infuriated, as a large black ship landed in front of the heroes. "Fortunately, I came up with a backup plan."
"You did not, Starscream did." Commando pointed out, rubbing his sore and bleeding nose.
"Whatever, meet Beast." Terrence said smugly.
Beast then appeared out of a ship, landing right in front of Bumblebee. He looks like a mutated Grimlock with a more humanoid face. Lanky and greasy black metallic 'hair' fell over his eyes. The only form of armour he wore were black armour pants with a tear in the right kneecap.
"Well, looks like he's been busy." Bumblebee pointed out. Beast raised his arms and slammed them into the ground, sending a shockwave at the heroes.
Jessie raised his arms, creating a force field. "Braedey, we could really use Bowler right now!" Jessie said, seeing the damage done.
"Got a better idea." Braedey now detached his arms and legs, which now became Bruticus. "You want to go? Come on, then!" He challenged. Beast snarled and charged. However, Bruticus delivered a right hook and then slammed him into the ground.
"Finally, the Vengers will have Vengeance!" Terrence said lamely. Before he could say anymore horrible one-liners, a metallic feminine hand shot out of nowhere and it dragged Terrence away.
"To whoever did that, thank you." Overdrive said with a smile.
Meanwhile, in a nearby alleyway, Jennifer was running away frightful. Rex jumped overhead, landing in her path. He wasn't alone as Cassie landed next to him.
"Going somewhere?" Rex asked rhetorically, cracking his knuckles.
"Because we may need to have a conversation with you." Cassie added, brandishing an Energon Whip.
"Nice try, but I'm an official soldier." Jennifer said, pulling out her blaster. Cassie whipped Jennifer's hand, causing the blaster to fly into the air. Rex grabbed the blaster, and he crushed it effortlessly.
"Wow, Starscream must be desperate for members." Cassie said darkly, while Jennifer gulped in horror.
Braedey, at this time, threw his shield right at Beast, causing the monstrosity to take several steps back. Jessie leaped overhead, delivering a right kick to Beast's head, knocking him back.
"Beast no lose to you!" The titan declared. However, Wanda quickly reappeared on top of Beast's arm, running up. Jessie fired a series of Energon blasts, aimed at Beast, who tried to swat them away.
"Time to turn up the heat!" Braedey now formed his right hand into Novabot's, his left into Hotrod.
Braedey now melded the flames and nuclear energy together, and he got shot a huge ball of nuclear fire right at Beast. The results amplified both the speed and intensity of the fireball. The attack blew up right on Beast's chest, causing a massive explosion. When the smoke cleared, Beast was unconscious, now laying on top of Commando, Captain Overdrive, and Malcolm's News van.
"Well, that works." Cameron shrugged offhandedly, who jumped out of a military Hummer.
"I just got that thing!" Malcolm cried, dropping to his knees.
"Look who we found." Cassie and Rex walked over, with Jennifer, her hand tied behind her back by the proto-whip.
"Nice job. She'll probably have some answers we could use to assist us in the long run." Braedey said, now arms shifting back to normal.
"I'll tell you anything, Braedey." Jennifer said with a wink and a flirtatious smile.
Carol walked over to Jennifer, pulling her up to her eye level, Wanda also walking up with venom in her eyes. "We will gut you like a fish if you try to hit on our boyfriend." Carol threatened, Wanda giving off a wave of red magic energy.
"Okay." Jennifer whimpered, horrified.
"So, what was the favour you needed?" Rex asked confused.
Braedey then turned and pointed, and everybody laughed at what they saw. The favour as it turned out, was to bring in Elita-One, who was sitting on a bench, spanking Terrence repetitively.
"Ow, ow, ouch, stop it!" Terrence demanded painfully.
"If you keep struggling, I will bring out a bar of soap." Elita said in her usual yet stern voice.
"Alright. We'll head back to base, and we can catch up." Jessie said, after recovering from her laughing fit.
"Great idea." Braedey said.
"Come on Elita, we have to go." Chromia said.
"On it." Elita now got up, inadvertently sending Terrence flying off her legs and down onto the other enemies, all of them either groaning in pain or knocked unconscious.
"Let's go." Jessie called. She then eyed the shield on Braedey's arm. "Where'd you get that?" She asked.
"From an legendary American hero." Braedey nodded back with a smile.

A little later, the others had arrived at an Autobot base just outside of the city, luckily running into Bumblebee, Ratchet, Bulkhead, as well as the others. They soon got introduced to both Carol and Wanda, Braedey explaining about where they came from and what had happened to him after entering the Well of AllSparks, as well as the Transformatrix and AllSpark becoming one and merging with him, much to their surprise and shock. It was something else.
As everyone was now getting settled and relaxed after what happened, Braedey now got a good look at both his cousin and friend. He could see they aged well but not like him, with Jessie in red and black, her hair in a ponytail and bearing a cat belt. Rex also has a black shirt with blue vest, a lock and chain around his neck, an 'X' on his chin, and he has a shotgun strapped to his back.
"Have to say, you two look rather well since I had left." Braedey said to the two, then gave them a hug, the two hugging him back. "Sorry I haven't been there to help."
"It's okay. We've done what we can after you had quote unquote 'died' on Cybertron." Jessie clarified to him. "Though we were rather unprepared for what we had to deal with over the last 5 years."
Just then, Braedey was greeted by two all familiar faces. "Mom, Dad!" Braedey called out while running over and happily hugged his two parental figures.
"Braedey!" Naomi and James Martin called out and they both gladly hugged their son with happiness and tears in their eyes. Grandpa Jackson was also there, and he gave his grandson Braedey a hug.
"I'm glad to see you back, sport." Jackson smiled.
"I'm so happy to see you alive." Naomi said happily.
"I'm happy you're still here." Braedey smiled back.
"That's a nice moment." Carol said, tears in her eyes. Wanda nodded in agreement with her.
"Braedey, where have you been and what have you been doing?" Naomi asked in concern and curiosity.
Braedey finally began his lengthy explanation of what happened during his time in the new universe of heroes, along with the AllSpark and Transformatrix now one and him being melded with both to give him every single power, the many heroes and allies he's met, plus the many fights, battles and struggles, he and both Carol and Wanda dating, plus the war with Thanos and the Infinity Stones, everything. It was all a big surprise and that. Needless to say, when he mentioned his two girlfriends, Naomi went ecstatic.
"They're both so cute." Naomi would comment, and she immediately started squeezing the air out of Wanda.
"Uh, Mrs. Martin..." Wanda began before losing consciousness fast.
"Oh please, call me Naomi." The Martin mother insisted.
"Moving that fast in a relationship already?" Carol asked confused.
"No, Aunt Naomi has always been like that." Jessie admitted to the blonde, who nodded back in some understanding.
Braedey, after he and Carol helped Wanda to her feet, now noticed that something was amiss. He saw that there were a lower amount of Autobots and reformed Decepticons around the base. "Guys? What's happened? Where is everybody?" He asked.
"Braedey, we don't want to disappoint you-" Jessie began but was cut off when Braedey looked at her with a stern expression.
"Where is Optimus Prime?" Braedey asked firmly. He then noticed the others having facial expressions of sorrow and concern, which did get his attention. "What? What happened?"
Grandpa Jackson stepped up. "Braedey, ever since you disappeared, Starscream and the Rebel Decepticons have made landfall on Earth, and they have caused utter chaos. They have constructed their fortress of Darkmount over in Norway. So far, they have not declared war, but with their fusion cannons at the ready, who knows when." He then sighed. "Optimus... he's in medical."
Braedey immediately bolted away for the medical bay, the others chasing on after him, though they took note of how fast he can run and sprint. Braedey barged into the room, and he stopped once he saw it: there was Optimus Prime, lying on the medical table, tubes of Energon and cables of wiring attached to parts across his body. Optimus looked to be in a bad way: many burns and deep cuts across his body. Some of his tyres had melted, parts of his armour had been dented and burnt, around 87% of his paint scheme had been obscured or burnt away by the blast, leaving what could be described as rust, and parts of his helm had been damaged, revealing a few spots of his helm.
"Optimus Prime... What have they done to you?" Braedey muttered softly to himself. Carol and Wanda stood by him, seeing the worry in his eyes, and they gently place a hand on his shoulder to give him comfort.
"It all happened so fast. We were about to go ahead to intercept a shipment of supplies, when Starscream and others ambushed us." Arcee spoke up as she walked in with the other Autobots. "We all fought as hard as we could, but Starscream must've upgraded himself. He was able to take on both Megatron and Optimus at the same time. He left Optimus in this state, holding onto life support." She walked over to the medical table, now looking at the unconscious form of Optimus. "Ultra Magnus and Jackson both took over control of the Alliance until we have an opportunity to strike back."
"Where is Megatron now?" Braedey asked.
"He's in Africa, trying to recover from his wounds." Ratchet answered back. "Megatron has also cut off Comms so we can't contact him."
"Best we leave him to do so." Braedey suggested to them. "Let him come back under his own terms." He turned to both his cousin and grandfather. "Where is Starscream up to at his base of operations?"
"So far, we've been unable to know." Grandpa Jackson answered to him. "They've been able to take down our surveillance drones before we could get a good shot to see what's going on."
"What about those like MECH?" Braedey now asked. "Anything from them?"
"Ultra Magnus and his unit have been following Silas and his forces, but the new weapons MECH has have been proving to be an issue." Smokescreen informed. "These weapons can definitely take down any Cybertronian, even those the size of Bruticus."
"Even after what happened all this time... How goes our British unit?" Braedey next asked. He knew that the Human/Autobot Alliance wasn't just restricted to the United States, and there are branches of the Alliance in the U.K, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia.
"Penelope Carter has been working her rear off with her unit to try and handle MECH convoys, but all their gear is moot." Jessie explained. "They just can't get a headwind on them.
"Right. Anything else?" Braedey asked.
"We've been evacuating Norway without Starscream and his rebel army knowing, though there have been some close calls with bombing runs." Jackson informed next. "Unfortunately, there's been some casualties."
"How many?" Braedey immediately asked.
"Up to about 100. They took down an evacuation plane and blew it out of the sky." Bulkhead replied sadly.
Braedey clenched his fists, his hands now becoming metal as his face became one of anger and frustration, his hands nearly changing into Megatron's. After taking some deep breaths, he looked over to see Soundwave standing nearby, all while being silent. "Soundwave. Begin scans of the region around Norway to see the aerial patterns of the rebel Decepticons." Braedey ordered at once, the Decepticon spymaster nodding one and walking off to the command centre. "Track down every single one of them, and mark them down."
"Braedey, we've been trying to keep a track on most of the rebels, but they've been able to scramble their spark signatures, no doubt from Shockwave." Jackson countered, much to Braedey's disappointment. "We've been trying to locate them."
"I see. We'll just have to try and outthink Starscream." Rex commented with a chuckle. "Shouldn't be too hard."
"Why not ask Megatron?" Carol questioned. "He should know more than anyone about Screamer."
"Not a bad idea." Braedey nodded.
"Braedey. Someone's been waiting for you, and I do not envy being Carol and Wanda over here." Jessie admitted, a bit reluctantly, just as Braedey's ex-girlfriend Jane Parker walked up. As usual, she wore her dark red sweatshirt over a white polo shirt and white skirt. Her short, raven hair was, as always, perfectly straight.
"Braedey." Jane spoke dryly.
"Jane." Braedey said back in the same tone.
"The ex and present in the same room, that's never good." Jessie said dryly.
"What is it?" Braedey asked in a serious tone, though one reserved for villains.
"I thought they ended on good terms?" Carol asked in confusion to Jessie and Rex.
"No, that was actually Elita-One. Braedey and Elita both decided it be best to be friends and colleagues. There was also a misunderstanding at the time. Jane was before Elita, and it did not end well." Rex explained. "Apparently, Jane partially blames Braedey for the all that's ever happened, especially with it affecting their relationship."
"That is a low blow." Wanda said, now not really liking this girl.
"Should we intervene?" Carol asked in concern.
"Let them sort this out. I've had Jane on a short leash over the last five years." Jessie insisted. However, she did look ready to let Braedey's new girlfriends have a chat with his old one.
"I'm surprised you even bothered to show your face, with you abandoning us and having us think you were dead." Jane said rudely.
"That's not what happened and you know it." Braedey shot back.
"Oh right. You decided to be the big hero, and did what you did!" Jane shouted infuriatingly.
"Hey! Not everyone deserves the coward's way out." Braedey snapped coldly. "Starscream, Shockwave, Megatronous, and Thanos... they are an exception." He clenched his left fist for emphasis.
"And yet, you were fine trying to end Rex when he absorbed all that power." Jane reminded him.
"That was different back then. Rex was sick and out of control, his choices weren't his." Braedey pointed out.
"Just say the word, and I will send her flying into orbit." Carol said, holding up a fist.
"I'll let you know in three minutes." Jessie said, agreeing with the plan.
"Face it Martin, you just can't help that ego, can you?" Jane said, rudely.
"At least I'm honest." Braedey said coolly after a moment of silence. "Not with you going behind my back and cheating on me."
"Say the word, and I will give her nightmares." Wanda admitted with a sadistic smile.
"Enough!" Naomi stopped the ex-couple, stepping in between them, but Jane just pushed her aside.
"Stay out of this, you old hag-!" Jane was abruptly cut off when she was suddenly sent flying backwards into a wall. She looked to see Braedey with his left arm formed into Gravitread's, his right arm transforming into Energon, a long sword forming from his arm.
"Don't you DARE speak to my mother like that!" Braedey snapped angrily. "You don't speak to anyone of my family like that!" He slowly stalked towards her, his gravitational powers keeping Jane pinned against the wall. He then aimed his sword at her. "I did not end up in another universe, fighting against evil demigods, Titans, evil apocalypse robots, backstabbing cowards, shapeshifting aliens, and a universe-destroying mad Titan alongside Earth's Mightiest Heroes for the last 12 years, only to have someone like my ex-girlfriend come in and ruin my happy family reunion!" He then dropped Jane to her hands and knees, Braedey changing his arms back to normal. "As tempting as it would be for me to take out my anger on you, I've got bigger fish to fry. You're not welcome at Autobot Alliance HQ, Jane. Get out of here and don't come back, before I change my mind of sparing your life." He threatened.
Jane didn't need any more persuasion. She was tempted to kick Braedey where it hurts, but when she saw the glares from both Carol and Wanda as they walked up alongside Braedey, the red-jacket brunette left the headquarters with a huff.
"Sorry you two had to see that." Braedey apologised.
"No need, sweetheart." Carol reassured, the trio walking back over to the rest of the group. "Now, what's the plan?" She asked.
"If it involves anything going boom, I'm your man." Rex said to Braedey.
Braedey nodded back. "We'll need to learn more about what Starscream and his rebels intend to do. But if we're going to do that, we'll need some inside help..." He then smirked darkly. "...as well as the know-how from the gladiator himself..."
