Soon, the US Navy and EDI joint convoy departed from San Diego with two aircraft carriers, four modern battleships, four cruisers, eight destroyers, four frigates, and two cargo ships where Braedey could watch over the real convoy. After the fleet left the California coast, they then spilt up into two smaller fleets as they followed the plan to evade any attackers that try and steal the secret cargo.
As the real fleet passed by Fiji heading South, everyone on the ships were all keeping an eye out for any attackers. So far, there hasn't been any attempts yet to steal the cargo. Well, when I mean everyone....
Braedey was fast asleep on the cargo ship. After staying awake for over 24 hours to oversee the EDI's deployment, and since there was no attack yet, the robot shapeshifter decided to catch up on some sleep.

As Braedey woke up from his nap, he saw Spike bring two cold drinks out, and hands one to him. "Thanks." Braedey thanked to Spike as he looked out to the fleet and the Pacific Ocean. "I didn't think this was gonna happen, ever, Spike. You and me reunited during a massive fallout between Transformer and the Avengers, who have now turned on us."
"Guess there's some things we can't control." Spike agrees with his brother.
"Yeah." Braedey nodded his head. "I remember when my grandfather was injured, I got so angry that I almost crossed a line I couldn't ever come back from." He then took a breath. "I was given a second chance after I was shot at my friend's graduation ceremony. And I'm not going to waste it."
"A-firm. You chose to continue being a hero, despite everything you've already gone through so far." Spike looked at Braedey. "You're brave, Braedey. Determined to continue the fight, but you also give people protection, hope, freedom and free will. That's what makes you what you are now. That's what makes you the Transformer."
"Thanks, brother." Braedey smiled as he then hugged Spike who hugged back before pulling away. "Besides, when this is all over, what you going to do?"
Spike thought for a few seconds. "Well, guess it'd be time for me to come home. Move back into the house. Become part of the family again. What about you?"
"I'll throw a massive party for starters on the 4th July." Braedey laughed at the thought of throwing a party after the whole civil war nonsense has blown over.
"Definitely." Spike nodded his head in reply as the two brothers go back to looking out.

The Next Day, the EDI/US Navy are only halfway into their journey, which had gone uneventful so far as Jane, who has decided to tag along for the trip goes to see Amber, who was currently relaxing in her temporary accommodation.
Jane knocked on the door. Amber looks up to see who it was. "Hey, Jane."
Jane entered the room. "How you doing, Amber?" She then noticed the British girl has papers and maps surrounding her. "Doing geographical checks?"
"Kind of. I'm locating any entrances to the Hollow Earth. This is what Braedey theorises how he ended up in this universe from his own after he quote unquote 'died'." Amber revealed to Jane as the scientist grabbed one of the maps and inspected it. "He believes that Skull Island is one of the gateways into this world, and not told anyone, not even the Avengers, about it."
"Compromised hiding place?" Jane immediately asked.
"Yeah, how's Braedey?" Amber then turned her attention to the shapeshifter who was asleep when she got up.
"He's heading back outside on guard duty. Apparently, he says he has some kind of soulmate who is like his anchor or something." Jane explained what Braedey has told her. "But he couldn't figure out who."
"Hang on.... but I thought Wanda and Carol both have feelings for Braedey, and they don't know that yet." Amber's eyes widened in surprise, that she didn't see that coming.
"Well, they don't know the ways of the universe or the force." Jane explained. "But Wanda wants to protect Braedey. Both she and Pietro just lost their parents, so Scorcher promised to protect them both, and I guess in some way, Pietro and Wanda promised to protect Braedey as well."
Back outside, Chimera had taken the form of Ultimate Grimlock, just to pass the time and since he hadn't used this ultimate form for a while. He turned to the bridge and was about ask to play some music, when suddenly, the enhanced-Dinobot's enhanced senses go viral which caused the Dinobot to roar out in anger as he slammed his feet down onto the deck, forcing the crew to look at him in complete surprise and confusion.
Meanwhile, Emily and Jane were still chatting to one another when they heard the crash and Transformer roaring out. The two girls looked around in confusion.
"What was that? Did we just did friendly fire on the rookie?" Amber asked.
Jane looked around as she thought back to her analysis on Transformer; if he transformed into a Dinobot and started roaring out in anger, it meant very bad news. "I don't think its friendly fire."
And to support Jane's theory, alarms began to blare, and red lights started to flash. "General quarters! General quarters! Man your battle stations!" The PA system announced as everyone rush to their stations.
Jane goes to check what's going on as Amber was still confused to why everyone was rushing to their battle stations. She wasn't sure if this was another drill. Jane comes back in a rush. "Jane, what's going on?"
Jane looked at the British girl for a few seconds. "It's the Avengers."

And they weren't alone. The battleships began to open fire their main batteries and the destroyers fired their missiles, as Ultimate Grimlock continued to roar out, now shifting into robot mode. He then formed his hands into missile launchers and opened fire.
The missiles hit a row of spikes as it changed its trajectory, now heading for one of the battleship as the unknown hostile rammed straight through the battleship, causing critical damage as it continued to head for the ship Transformer is on.
Two F-35 jets fly in and fired their missiles at the creature, only to anger as it roared while underwater.
"No effect on target. I repeat, no-AAAAHHHH!!" The pilot of one of the F-35s yelled out as he collided with the creature's tail, the fighter jets exploding on contact. The cruisers move in, firing their guns at the monster as it slammed down on the nearest cruisers before submerging, still heading for the cargo ship.
Ultimate Grimlock spotted the incoming threat as the row of spikes were now heading straight for the cargo ship. Transformer turned and lets out a primal roar at the incoming threat; he could hear the threat roaring thanks to his hearing. At once, Ultimate Grimlock broke apart and shifted into Maximus Kong.
The robot shapeshifter watched the spikes disappear below the surface and out of sight as everyone seal the doors, knowing the incoming threat and unaware what was really going on. Maximus Kong looked down before roaring, sensing the presence of a past foe he had fought twice before.
Suddenly, the monster shot straight out of water, causing the whole cargo ship to capsize with Transformer still on it, the robot shapeshifter starting to lose oxygen as Kong is best suited on land.
Back on the surface, the remaining ships continued to fire their respective weapons at the creature, which just so happened to resemble some kind of mutated theropod dinosaur with a squarish head and huge spikes and scutes on its back. This beast was like Titanus' beast mode, only not as impressive.
The monster, who will be designated as Zilla, roared out in pain as it changed target from the fleet to Transformer who was slowly losing air, diving back into the ocean and swimming towards the massive four-armed Titan Predacon, who was struggling to turn the cargo ship back to it's original position. Transformer suddenly got tackled by Zilla as it tried to bite Maximus Kong's head, but the robot shapeshifter grabs both the beast's arms before headbutting it and dropkicked it, buying himself time. Maximus Kong now flipped the cargo ship back the right way as he climbed back on the ship, standing back on his feet.
Maximus Kong now spotted Zilla's spikes re-emerging back onto the surface as Transformer roared as loud as he could while pounding his chest. Maximus Kong's priority now is to help the remaining EDI and US Navy ships drive the monster off before more vessels were lost. Maximus Kong spotted the aircraft carrier which is the only massive ship that can support his weight. The robot shapeshifter ran and jumped onto the destroyer, then onto the aircraft carrier, causing its bow to lift up as Maximus Kong is on the stern.
Zilla now changed direction and headed for the carrier as Maximus Kong roared in intimidation. But unlike the previous two times Transformer and the beast had clashed, the former Avenger was prepared, now changing from Maximus Kong into Titanus.
And just in time, since the Zilla climbed up onto the Aircraft Carrier. Zilla roared into the air, only to be greeted with a heavy right punch from Titanus, causing the Kaiju to be knocked down to the deck. In retaliation, Zilla slapped the Titan Predacon in the face, knocking Transformer back and making him fall onto his back.
Zilla charged in but got greeted by Titanus who fired his tail, which had converted into a rail cannon, the shells penetrating the Kaiju's hide, and making it roar in immense pain, as Titanus got back on his feet. Zilla roared out in anger as he got hit by multiple rocket salvos as Titanus suddenly grabbed the Kaiju and lifted him up with a yell before slamming it down into his knee, breaking Zilla's back, then the latter got kicked in the face, and back into the water, still yelling out in pain.
Titanus watched Trespasser disappear into the depths, then grunted with a snort, and lets out a roar of victory. But that was short lived as Titanus' optics widened as he sensed a new danger and leaped off the Aircraft Carrier as it got ripped apart by a laser beam, causing the carrier to explode.
Transformer swam through the water as he climbed back up onto the cargo ship, now out of beath as he shifted back to human form. Amber and Spike rushed over and helped the brunette onto his feet just as the Avengers Quinjet suddenly bursts out of the water, the cargo now attached to it's stomach after it was knocked off by Zilla.
Captain America, Iron Man, and Black Widow immediately made eye contact with Braedey as he glared at the former heroes with anger and rage in his eyes. No one said a word as the Avengers Quinjet then departs the combat zone.
The Avengers now left only the cargo ship, one battleship, one cruiser, and three destroyers behind as Braedey looked on, now rethinking the situation he was now in.

After what remained of the EDC fleet stopped by Sydney to refuel and rearm, Braedey was greeted by Pietro and Wanda, who both engulfed him in a hug, both relieved their friend was okay after the events from earlier.
"What happened out there?" Pietro asked as he pointed at the shapeshifter's still wet hair.
"We got attacked, that's what happened." Braedey answered. "Also, I'm hungry. I haven't had anything since the attack on the convoy."
Wanda suddenly grabs Braedey's hand. "Come on, I'll buy you some dinner." With that, she started leading him to one of the restaurants. Wanda uses her magic to change her outfit into a dark grey dress with heeled sandals
This got Braedey's attention as he looked at Wanda in awe. "Wow, I didn't you can do that before." He said in awe.
A while later, the two Avengers were eating at one of Sydney's restaurants which served American food, giving Braedey a taste of home after being away for nearly 3 weeks now. The two heroes got to exchange their stories on their lives while on the run.
Wanda was currently telling Braedey about when she and Pietro had to help round up 4,000 cows with dune racing cars on a farm the size of East Anglia.
"So Pietro goes 'He fears Quicksilver more than Scarlet Witch', and started trying to scare the cow, but then the cow started headbutting Pietro's car." Wanda told Braedey who snickers at Pietro underestimating a cow. "So I had to take over and used my magic to round all 4,000 cows."
"4,000? Wanda, what have you been doing since I got you and Pietro to Australia?" Braedey asked, eager to know how Wanda was getting better at her magic.
"Well, like Scorcher said, practice make perfect. So I've been practicing with my magic and getting better at it everyday." Wanda told her friend/crush. "Pietro has gotten much faster. You as Blurr and him should have a race."
"I'll make sure that happens." Braedey nodded as he then switches topics. "We got attacked by not only the Avengers, but some kind of Kaiju. That beast must've kept me distracted while the Avengers retrieved the cargo."
"What was the cargo?" Wanda asks with concern.
"I don't know what was the cargo was, and why the Avengers want it so bad." Braedey thought, trying to determine why the Avengers wanted the cargo and not him. Then, the pieces started to fall into place. "Unless every military base that was attacked was a scientific base containing something the Avengers want. But why?"
"Another MechaGodzilla?" Pietro asked.
"No. They'd need more parts if they were to build another one of those things." Braedey shook his head as he thought about his next move. The war had been going on for two weeks and four days, and Transformer had to end it before hundreds, or even thousands died. He couldn't play defensive forever. "We gotta take the fight to them."
"But we dunno where they could be. Tony has tried to track them." Wanda said.
"Then maybe we'll call them out instead." Braedey took a deep breath. "It's time for the Young Avengers to assemble."
"You sure?" Wanda asked.
Braedey nodded his head as the two continue to eat and talk about other things. Wanda paid the bill as the two Avengers walked back to their hotel rooms with Wanda stealing glances at Braedey.
The robot shapeshifter notices this as he faces her. "You okay?" Braedey asked.
"I'm feeling more than okay." Wanda smiled.
"How you feeling?" Braedey now asked.
"It's better if I showed you." Wanda says as she suddenly connected her lips with Braedey's, the brunette's eyes widening slightly as he kissed back. Wanda hummed as she slowly pulled away with a smile on her face. "Goodnight, Braedey."
The brunette watched Wanda leave, a surprised look still on his face as he started heading to his hotel for the night, finally realising that Wanda had taken him out on a date.
Still, there was still the mystery of his soulmate who is also his anchor of some kind. Braedey didn't know who his soulmate could be, but that would have to wait as he had a war to end. The key to all of this mess now leading to one James Buchanan "Bucky" Barnes.
