After five days Taehyung was transferred to a hospital in Seoul. The doctor was going to further assess his condition before giving him clearance to recuperate at the Wang Estate.
Since Wendy was not going to bother the Wang Family anymore, Wang Guiren with the whole Wang Family decided to move back to the Wang Estate.
And just like that, the days passed peacefully.
Of course that was just on the surface.
Behind the scenes Chaeyoung was very busy realizing all of her plans.
First, she took care of the upcoming launch of her game into the web. Since the Moon Corp was not broadly known, she needed to do a lot of publicity and advertisements for her game.
Although her grandfather offered to help her, Chaeyoung was very adamant about working her way to the top. She couldn't rely on her grandfather every time she encountered a problem.
After making sure that everything had been taken care of, Chaeyoung decided to start the second stage of her plan against the Choi Family.
Previously she has decided to delay this because of two things.
First, she had already taken care of Wendy. Second, Old Man Choi was in a coma since he had been poisoned by his own daughter.
Chaeyoung found Old Man Choi's situation very unfortunate for her plans. She couldn't just take over the Choi Conglomerate without staring straight into Old Man Choi's eyes.
She originally decided to wait for him to wake up. However, Chaeyoung got the news that there was a possibility that the old man would not wake up again.
Therefore Chaeyoung decided to just resolve this matter once and for all. The first thing she needed to do was to have proper talk with Daniel Choi.
"Miss Park, I have never thought that you would be this ambitious." Daniel Choi said the moment he heard Chaeyoung's proposition. "Taking over a company that had already been around for tens of years. I applaud for your courage to do that."
Chaeyoung stifled a laugh while sitting across Daniel. They were currently in Daniel's office. After his father had fallen into a coma he was now running the company alone.
"Mr. Choi, you got this wrong... this is not me being courageous. This is me being kind." She said. Courage meant being ready to endure hardships without showing any fear. And for Chaeyoung what she was doing right now did not involve enduring or fear.
Right now, Chaeyoung was being kind by offering Daniel a proposition without using any other means, neither coercion nor blackmail.
That was her kindness.
"What do you mean by that? Have you considered how crazy this is? How can you even think that I will give you our company after you asked nicely?" Daniel furrowed his brows. He really couldn't understand how Chaeyoung's mind worked.
"I mean... you would rather not see my courageous side again, don't you Mr. Choi?" Chaeyoung asked, her eyes like a crescent and lips curved upwards.
"Miss Park there is no use threatening me like this. I will not let Taehyung become the CEO of my company." He insisted.
"Okay..." Chaeyoung shrugged before giving him a folder. "Here take a look at this."
When Daniel opened the folder, his eyes instantly widened and his mouth gaped open.
"You... You owned the Moon Corp?"
Chaeyoung gave him a smile. She knew he will react this way. "I do. Now let's try again. Mr. Choi... I would like to take over the Choi Conglomerate!."
Chaeyoung's brilliant smile instantly blinded Daniel. Sweat trickled down his back while he was staring at Chaeyoung.
She owned the Moon Corp? She owned more than twenty percent shares of the Choi Conglomerate. Was she... Was she using the same strategy to scare him? Just like what they had done to Old Man Wang?
The conversation ended with Daniel giving Taehyung an opportunity to present at the board of directors, so they could decide if he was suited for the CEO position. Moreover, he agreed to become Taehyung's subordinate in running the company.
Daniel Choi did not know why Chaeyoung was so certain that the board of directors will approve Taehyung being the CEO of the Choi Conglomerate. And to be honest, he did not even want to know anymore. At this point, he already considered Chaeyoung as someone who could do the impossible.
This turn of events was totally unexpected for Daniel. Who would have thought that a time like this will come?
The only good thing about this was that Taehyung's mother was someone from the Choi Family. So, it would not really be that surprising if he worked at the Choi Conglomerate.
Daniel Choi let out a long sigh as he slouched on his chair. He stared at the family photo displayed on his table. On the photo were him, his father, Wendy and his daughter.
Daniel Choi couldn't help but wonder if this was all karma. His father was still in the ICU, his daughter was now in a mental facility and his sister… well he did not have any idea, because Chaeyoung had refused to answer his question.
However, Daniel could already guess what had happened to her.
Chaeyoung hit their family like an unavoidable karma. She was able to topple their family and even take over their company.
Sometimes he looked at his father and wondered what would have happened if they hadn't crossed the Wang family and earned Chaeyoung's ire.
After Chaeyoung finished talking to Daniel, she immediately went home to inform her cousin about this news.
She originally had decided to do this with Taehyung but since he had been shot, he still needed time to recuperate at home.
"Young Miss, we have arrived." She heard Jin's voice.
After the incident, the security around her had been tripled. However, Chaeyoung insisted on being low key as much as possible.
Her driver was still Wang Bolin but Jin was now accompanying them. Right now she did not want to be with someone she didn't trust
After she heard Jin's voice, Chaeyoung instantly closed her laptop and got off the car.
She walked towards the Mansion and noticed two black cars on the driveway, however she just thought it was someone from the Wang Group. This scene was common for Chaeyoung.
After the incident on summit, people in the business world already sensed that there would be big changes in the prestigious families soon. And some really courageous people even started to build relations with her uncle. They would come to visit him at the Wang Estate and talk about nonsense giving shallow flattery to everyone associated with the Wang Family.
It made Chaeyoung hate this kind of interactions. So, she chose to avoid them instead.
And today she was planning to do the same. Avoiding everyone, she would go to Taehyung's room and entertain him with some of her 'funny' jokes. It had become a part of Chaeyoung's routine, since they arrived from the hospital.
"Hey, how come you're here? Grandfather asked all the attendants to tell you to go to his study the moment you arrived." Taehyung said the moment Chaeyoung opened the door of his room.
"Oh... I did not see anyone on my way here." Chaeyoung shrugged before giving Taehyung an envelope. "Here, take it. It's about the Choi Conglomerate."
Her cousin instantly opened the envelope and gave her a smile. "I did not expect you to do this so soon."
"It was easy... so why not?" She answered. "Okay... you better prepare yourself to manage two companies at the same time. I will go to see grandfather for now."
Taehyung just gave his cousin a smile, as he watched Chaeyoung skip her way out of his room.
Chaeyoung did not bother knocking and instantly opened the door to her grandfather's study, but to her surprise, he was not alone.
Her smiling face immediately turned into a scowl when she saw Felix Han, another guy and a woman sitting across her grandfather.
"Little Chae come take a sit." Old Man Wang gestured his granddaughter to sit next to the woman.
Chaeyoung obeyed her grandfather without saying anything. Although she did not know the purpose of this Felix coming here, she would trust her grandfather's judgment. He wouldn't call for her if this was not extremely important.
"This is Mr. Han along with his subordinates Mr. Cheng and Miss Zhang. They work for the international cybercrime organization based abroad." Her grandfather said.
Chaeyoung's ears instantly perked the moment she heard that organizations name. As someone who delved into the black market, she was very familiar with this organization. These people tracked hackers like her mentor. Of course, they had never succeeded. Still, she wondered what would bring these people here.
Chaeyoung knew that they would not be here just because of the virus that she created. Her instincts had already told her that they were here for something... more serious than that.
Seeing Chaeyoung's serious expression, Wang Guiren continued. "They had approached me back when Taehyung was still in the hospital and asked if you could join them. Legally of course, as they need your expertise."
"No." Chaeyoung abruptly answered. Expertise? Were they trying to con her?
"I'm sorry? What did you say?" The woman surnamed Zhang asked with her brows furrowed. Did this woman know what she was saying?
"I said NO. I'm not interested." Chaeyoung repeated. This time her tone was clearer and more composed. This organization had been hunting her mentor day and night. So why would she join them?
"You... do you even know what we do? Having three of us ask you is already an honor..."
"Winter calm down." The man surnamed Cheng interrupted the woman's rant. They were not here to slight Chaeyoung. They were here to convince her. "Miss Park my name is Mark Cheng, but you can call me Mark. We are here to ask for your help with a very special case that we are working on right now. And we would like to ask you to join our department at least for two years. As payment we will send extra protection to your family and train you to defend yourself."
"This conversation is over, you can leave now." Chaeyoung said before getting up.
Security? They could afford it themselves. Training? She could do that. She could do all of that without working for anyone and without staying away from her family.
"Miss Park please consider our proposal. It's only for two years. After that, you can do whatever you want and still have us as your backer. We can help your company." Mark Cheng said. He really wished that their offer would be enough to convince her.
"Not interested." Chaeyoung said before walking towards the exit. However, before she could open the door she heard a name that made her froze.
"Chanyeol"
Chaeyoung turned her head towards Felix who was the one who said that name.
"He is ALIVE." Felix added before giving Chaeyoung a USB drive. "And we need your help to find him."
"I saw him die." Chaeyoung said her gaze straight at Felix. How dare these people use his name in front of her?
"Apparently he survived, and we believe he had been taken captive by some powerful organization for his abilities." Mark Cheng said.
Chaeyoung instantly clenched her jaws the moment she heard this. She saw him die. She watched the video of the explosion over and over again. She was sure he was dead.
However, if he was still alive, it would be reasonable for this people to approach her. Because she would be the only person who can help them find him.
"I will let you know my decision in an hour." Chaeyoung said before accepting the USB from Felix and leaving the room.
If they were right then she could only leave her family to find him. Her best friend, mentor, the only person who taught her everything that she knew now.
Two years? That's not really too long.
Plus she will already be able to see Lisa the moment she came back.

Just the thought of seeing her again was making her heart skip a beat.
She couldn't wait to see her again.

Chaeyoung locked her fingers around the armrest as the plane hit another turbulence. They were about to land an unexpectedly the private plane which she was flying in encountered some turbulence.
She bit her lips as she tried to compose herself.
"Relax." a low, husky voice told her. "We will land in a few minutes."
From his voice alone, Chaeyoung could already tell that it was Felix, so she did not bother answering the man.
How long has it been since she started working with them?
Two years. That's right, she had been away for two years already.
During this two years, Chaeyoung had never liked this Felix Han. That was the reason she avoided this man like a plague.
"Are you excited or nervous?" Felix again tried to find a way to talk with Chaeyoung.
Still, she did not answer him.

She had been away for too long. She missed everyone, her family, friends and... Lisa.

This gave the Moon Corp a mysterious aura. Some people assumed that it should be owned by an old person who was afraid to show himself to everyone, that was why he or she chose two good looking people to represent the company instead.
When Chaeyoung saw this news online, she couldn't help but laugh for a long time... People's ideas were really unexpected sometimes.
"Watch your tongue." she heard Felix scold Winter, his voice was stern and serious. "If you can't say something good then just close your mouth."

However, before Felix can say something, the plane already begun descending, halting their conversation.
The descent of the plane gave Chaeyoung another emotion. Something in between being excited and nervous. Something that she could not explain.
After a few minutes, the plane successfully landed and the latch slowly opened.
Chaeyoung instantly gathered her belongings and walked outside without saying anything to everyone. She was excited and she did not care about what everyone would think of her.
To be honest, she had already decided a long time ago not to attach herself to the people that did not really bring anything good into her life.
However, before she could take a step outside of the plane, her arm was grabbed by someone.
Her face instantly turned into an ugly scowl when she realized it was Winter.
"Now, that you are no longer working for the organization, I trust that you will stay away from Felix." Winter stated. It was not a question but clearly a command.
Chaeyoung stared at the woman who was just an inch shorter than her. This Winter was surely beautiful and maybe... hot? But Winter was clearly insecure.
Her gaze lingered towards Winter's face before it landed to Felix who was just standing behind her, listening to their conversation.
Chaeyoung wondered why this man was just listening instead of putting a leash on Winter. Maybe he wanted to hear Chaeyoung's answer?
Well then, she will give him an unforgettable answer.
"Miss Zhang... since you like Felix so much, why don't you just tell him? Since you've been fucking almost every night why not just ask him to take responsibility and marry you?"
Her words instantly made Felix choke all the words that he wanted to say to her. He wanted to know if Chaeyoung would fight Winter and declare that she couldn't stop her from seeing Felix. However, it seemed like Chaeyoung had such a great way with words that it would make someone cough in embarrassment.
