Sapnap is dogboy
He age regresses (also this chapter has age regression 🧚♀️)
AND IT'S CALLED PUPPYSPACE INSTEAD OF LITTLESPACE
I KNOW THERE'S AN ACTUAL THING WHERE PEOPLE REGRESS INTO THE HEADSPACE OF ANIMALS INSTEAD OF BEING YOUNGER BUT I WANTED TO MAKE IT DOGBOY SAPNAP
Sapnap nibbled on the ends of his shirt as he kneeled in front Dream's door, waiting for him to notice that he was there.
As if he had a secret sense for when Sapnap was puppy.
Sapnap was super deep into his headspace, as in he couldn't talk, he could only communicate with little whimpers and whines.
It wasn't usual that he would slip so deep, but he supposes that this is what he deserves from putting himself under all that stress.
George was streaming, which was really no big deal, but since Dream had accompanied him... he quite literally had no one to blabber to.
His fluffy ears perked up at the sound of Dream's voice from inside the room but slowly flattened against his head when he realized that he wasn't coming towards the door.
His only real option was going to Dream for some help, he couldn't go to George because he had his facecam on, and as much as he trusts his fandom... he doesn't exactly wanna expose that he uses being a dog for a coping mechanism.
Dreamie...
Sapnap whined internally, he had the perfect expression for it. Pouty face, flat ears, still tail but yet the words couldn't leave him... all he could do was whine.
It was nice really... being this far into his headspace that he had no other problems.. but he would prefer it immensely if he had someone to share the experience with.
His head made two small thumps on the door as he resigned back to his place on the floor, he missed the touch of his two loving husbands, the intoxicating feeling of them cooing over him and petting his ears and tail.
"Hm? Oh! One sec chat... I think good ol' patches is at the door..."
Sapnap's tail wiggled innocently as he heard the implication that he might be let in, his ears perked up and his eyes were filled with some hope.

Dream hummed a tune as he muted himself, pulling off his headphones lazily as he walked towards the mahogany door.
He wasn't actually expecting Patches obviously.
She just barges in like the queen she is, but he knew that the two thumps were made by a special someone.
A special husband.
His fingers wrapped around the doorknob as he opened it, facial features softening when he was met with the loving sight of Sapnap being his best puppy self.
"Hey there puppy..."
Dream murmured, stooping down and pulling Sapnap closer to him by the waist and petting him idly as he waited for a response.
When no response came he looked down at the smaller man confused, he didn't even make a whimper or a sound of any sort.
"Can you talk puppy? Can you talk for master?"
Dream prodded, he honestly didn't mind if today was one of those days where Sapnap was non-verbal, he just wanted to know if it was because he wanted to be non-verbal or if it was because something happened and now's he non-verbal.
Sapnap whined while he shook his head, his headspace convinced him that Dream was mad that he was being so quiet, so he tried to force himself to speak.
"....y.e...s,"
His throat burned as little tears pricked at the corners of his eyes as he tried to comfort himself by thinking about how 'proud' Dream would be that he talked.
"Aww puppy... it's okay to not talk to master, I don't mind at all ok? Come here puppy,"
Dream opened his arms and allowed Sapnap to find comfort in them instead of his own thoughts.
Sapnap's hand slowly reached up to Dream's shirt, soft fingertips rubbing at the fabric in a soothing manner.
"Look at me puppy,"
Dream whispered it in such a way that it wasn't exactly demanding, more so comfortingly steady, it encouraged Sapnap to lean onto Dream whenever he had problems because he knew that he would keep him steady.
Sapnap's coffee eyes lazily trailed to Dream's face, as if he was in a slight daze.
"I'm so proud of you for coming to me when you had your puppy problems, master's so so so proud of puppy,"
Dream dotted little kisses all over Sapnap's face as he saw the way that Sapnap's lips started to quiver, but he knew this time it wasn't out of sadness.
"How about this puppy, I send Georgie a message about how you're our cute little puppy right now and we go to the living room to do small puppy things,"
Dream offered, smiling when he felt Sapnap nod against his shirt. He kissed Sapnap's head before carefully rearranging them so it would be easier to move.
"Upsie Daisy puppy!"
Dream cooed, slipping his arms under Sapnap's armpits and picking him up, waiting until Sapnap's thighs engulfed his hips to walk.
Dream placed Sapnap down on his gaming chair, making sure that he was comfy through excessive questions that Sapnap loved so much.
The amount of care and attention to detail made Sapnap slip more into his headspace, feeling the familiar warm tingly feeling surround him.

say i had to go make an errand for my mom or smth
Dream smiled as he sent the message, leaving the voice call and turning his full attention to the puppy boy in his chair.
"I say... we go get some squeaky toys hm?"
Sapnap shot up and his tail immediately started to hit the sides of the chair at the implications that he may be able to play with his beloved squeaky toys.
"Does that make my puppy happy?"
Dream teased, making Sapnap shoot up to grab Dream's forearms and shake him violently in pure happiness.
Dream giggled and cupped Sapnap's cheeks to try and keep his childish innocence at bay, it thankfully didn't work while Sapnap's tail showed his excitement instead of simply his actions.
"Ok! Ok! I'll get them puppy, stay here and be good,"
Dream tickled Sapnap's sides as he walked off, leaving the puppy boy sat in his chair unmoving, determined to be good.

"Where has Dream gone?! It's been like a whole ten minutes!"
George pouted, making Chat fill with comments about how 'cute he was' and 'what a bad boyfriend Dream was'
Poor things didn't know they were married... sad
"Hm? Oh! Now he sends a message about where the hell has he gone!"
George paused the game and opened up discord, carefully hiding his emotions as he opened it, in case something happened.. he didn't need the people assuming the situation based off of his face.
"Ohhhh... Dream's being a simp for his dear mother and went to go fetch her something on a courageous errand that she sent him on!"
George mocked the message in a posh British accent, making dramatic hand movements while talking to really sell the bit.
George rolled his eyes and threw the camera a glare that could only be described as: 'this motherfucker-'
"Welp, guess we're going to have to go on without him. I think I'll probably end stream in about five-ish minutes,"
George murmured as he logged back into Minecraft, playing the game regularly as he danced around the world, boredom apparent in his features.
His leg bounced up and down in slight anxiousness as he imagined what Sapnap and Dream were doing, he knew that Dream was more equipped to take care of Sapnap but he always wanted to educate himself on his husband's coping mechanisms.
Four minutes and Thirty Seconds later...
"Alrighty guys! That's it for this stream! Don't die! And make sure to subscribe with prime to me and my friends.... Gogy out!"
George sighed and took off his headphones as he turned off stream, smiling as he felt an unconscious weight be lifted off of his shoulders.
Time to check on Sapnap and Dream!
George's lips curled into a sweet smile as he remembered that Sapnap was their puppy now, he had already been head over heels for the man with his boldness but... with him being so sweet and innocent he was surely a goner.
He got out of his chair and walked towards the door, it just slipping open into surprisingly quiet house.
"Squeak!"
The noise filled the once quiet atmosphere, along with little thumps and giggles.
It came from downstairs, which is where the living room was.
George's head turned to the stairs, shoulders slumped and a dopey smile on his face as he imagined what fun things they could be doing.
As he stepped down the stairs, he began to get slightly anxious.
What if he messed up?
What if he said the wrong thing or played the role of Sapnap's 'master' wrong?
Calm down George, he's literally your husband
George huffed as he brought his head out from the negative headspace, finally calming himself as he walked out into the living room.

Dream teased Sapnap by booping the rubber dog toy on his nose, caressing his ears carefully.
Dream was sat on the couch, legs spread slightly to give Sapnap some space to crawl between.
Speaking of Sapnap, he was kneeling on the ground in front of Dream, happily playing some fetch with his master.
(They made sure to put on some knee pads before playing, they were the soft pillowy ones instead of the hard plastic ones)
Dream suddenly stopped playing with Sapnap, though the soft expression on his face never disappeared, hearing some familiar taps of his other husband's feet.
"I think we have a special someone coming over!"
Dream cheered, making Sapnap look up at him with obvious excitement with a slight tint of confusion.
"I think Georgie's here!"
Dream gasped when he felt Sapnap instantly crawl onto his lap, using his stomach as support as he looked around the living room from a higher point of view.

George smiled as he gazed upon the sight of Sapnap eagerly looking around the living room, awkward palm reaching up to make a small wave.
"Georgieeeee!"
Dream smiled as he saw the way that George blushed at the attention, walking over and sitting down on the couch next to Dream.
His soft palm reached up to slowly but thoughtfully scratch at Sapnap's ear, making sure to pride himself on the way that Sapnap let out a pleased hum everytime he passed his nail over a certain spot behind his ear.
His tail began to hit Dream's knee at how fast it was going, a little peek of his tongue slipping out of his mouth.
"You're doing great,"
Dream whispered to George, soothing the slight anxiety which gnawed at his stomach.
George wasn't exactly the most confident when it came to caring for Sapnap, he didn't know him as long as Dream and he was always the more so closed off person... so caring for someone, no matter who they are is always a challenge.
George's pets were cut short when suddenly Sapnap was readjusting himself to lay his body onto both of their laps.
Sapnap's head was comforted by one of the couch's pillows, while his torso was on George's lap and his bottom half on Dream's lap.
Sapnap pouted when he didn't feel the familiar soothing pets resume as soon as he laid down, so he forcefully grabbed George's hand by the wrist and plopped it down on his head, hoping he would get the hint.
"He's looking for some headpats..."
Dream whispered, leaning over into George's ear and then placing a reassuring arm around his shoulder.
George nodded and kissed Sapnap on the cheek before petting him again, this time more controlled and not as unsure as he was before.
Sapnap hummed happily as he fully let his weight drop onto both of their laps, fully content with his day.
