Chapter 35 - Enjoying the good times whilst they last

Harper wants to do something special for her little girl. She has decided to throw a gender reveal as one last celebration. She has spent a whole 2 hours getting everything together
"Okay! Sit your asses down!" Harper says as Boden shoots her a look
"With all due respect" Harper corrects herself
"Better" Boden says as they all sit down
"My appointment went great!" Harper says lying
"That's great!" Dawson adds
"Now Dr.Manning accidentally told me the gender and is throwing a gender reveal right here right now!" Harper says enthusiastically
Harper leads them all outside where everything is set up in pink and blue things. There's food and drink and everyone is having a great time talking amongst them selfs. Harper gets her phone out and makes a video
"Boy or girl?" She asks everyone
"Boy" Casey says
"Girl" Dawson adds
"Hmm boy" Capp says smiling
"Boy!" Tony replies
"I've gotta say boy" Hermann says as he smiles
"I'm with Herrmann on this one" Boden adds
"And what does the dad think it is?" Harper asks as she wanders over to Kelly
"I've gotta say a boy but as long as it's healthy and happy" Kelly adds as Harper can feel her heart shatter into a million pieces
Harper ends the recording
"Right I want Casey,Kelly, Chief and Herrmann up here!" Harper shouts as they all walk up
"Now I'm gonna throw balls towards you all one at a time and your going to kick them. In each of the balls is either blue or pink and you have to add them up. What ever colour appears more is the gender! Got it?" Harper asks as they all nod
Harper throws the first ball to Casey and it's blue
"1 for boy!" Dawson shouts
Harper throws the second ball to Boden and it's also blue
"2 for boy!" Amelia shouts
Harper the throws the third ball to Herrmann and it's pink
"1 for girl!" Harper shouts as she smiles
"This must be the decider then!" Kelly says as he gets ready
Harper throws the forth and final ball to Kelly and it's pink
"Huh?" Casey says
"It's a tie?" Boden adds
"You guys didn't think I'd let you find out that easy!" Harper says as she laughs
"So what's the gender?" Dawson asks
"If you can turn your attention up to the sky, in 3,2,1!" Harper says as they all look up
They look up to see pink painted in the sky by one of those planes. Kelly runs over and picks Harper up
"It's a girl!!" Kelly says enthusiastically as he spins Harper
Harper is trying to hold back her tears
"I think we should pick out her name early this time" Harper suggests
"No problem at all" Kelly says as he plants a kiss on her forehead
It's a week later and Harper is still pregnant. The waiting game is killing her. Her and Kelly have managed to pick out a name for their little girl and are on their way to tell the firehouse....
