Being home from Trinidad is ok. I wish my family was together though. Safaree is always off doing his own thing. He comes home around two o'clock in the morning and leaves at seven in the morning, he's never with me and when I try to call him, it goes straight to voicemail. Princess, she's always in her room and when I try to talk to her she gives me short responses or doesn't respond at all. I think she's mad at me. I'm just really stressed.
" Hey " Safaree said walking in. I smiled. This is literally the first time I seen him in two weeks.
" Hey babe " I got off the bed and I gave him a hug and a kiss on the cheek. " Where have your been lately "
" Doing stuff. " He didn't look me in my eyes.
" Faree your lying to me. What were you doing babe? "
" Stuff. I went out with the guys and I went to go see about some stuff. Where's my daughter? " Now he is changing the subject. I know he's lying.
" She is at tutoring now but she had to meet with her home school teacher to turn in her assignments and get her report card I think. "

" Can we talk? " I sat down at the edge of the bed watching his every move. He has this nonchalant attitude since recently and I don't like it.
" About what. "
" Us " he kept moving around looking for something. " Babe. " I grabbed his hand and he looked at me.

" Can we talk for a minute please? "
" Ok " he sat down with me.
" I just wanted to know where we stand so I know how to move forward in our relationship. "

I looked down. He was right, I would leave him.

" NO YOU FUCKING DONT ONIKA. LOOK AT THIS SHIT! " He started to throw bags at me and then went into the closet. I bent down and started to pick them up. I knew these all too well.
Marijuana, Cocaine, and the needles.

" Everyday I've been drinking four, five bottles of this shit and been overdosing on drugs just to forget all this shit Onika. For three weeks straight I've been doing this and I'm tired Onika I'm tired. I just want to be happy. "
" Okay. Then let's be happy together. Baby let me fix it. So that way we can be happy, please! "

I looked up and could see the tears in his eyes. Only one time I seen Safaree cry, and this was it.
" What? " I said through my tears.
" That you fucked him with that ring on ya finger " I looked down and noticed I had my engagement ring on.
" Safaree I'm sorry okay I'm sorry. Just please let me fix it please. "
" Onika it's .."
" SAFAREE PLEASE! Baby please, just let me fix it." I begged
He looked away. I grabbed his face so he could look at me.
" Just one more chance. Please? "
He sighed.
" Alright " I kissed him and we hugged.
