Sunday is the day people go to church and pray to a God that everyone believes is so powerful. Everyone believes that living by God's rules will send you to heaven when you die.

But that's the thing, nobody is as perfect as God is. Everyone makes mistakes, so it doesn't matter if you follow his rules or not, truth is we never win.

You follow his rules, make a mistake and you don't get a heaven. You don't follow his rules, you don't belong in heaven.

Nobody ever truly wins.

But I am not saying I don't believe in him, I do. But I really need a sign letting me know he's here.

With me.

Sometimes it feels like he put a curse on me, one where I can't be happy ever since my father's death. Maybe I'm not meant to have a future?

It's seven in the afternoon and I'm scrolling through my feed when I get a message from Chase.

'Hey, I'm outside your house, wanna ride with me?'

My eyes widen at the fact that he's outside my house. I sit up and text back.

'I'll be out in a second, do not knock .'

I stand up put on some biker shorts. Heading downstairs, I open the door and see a motorcycle next to Chase, who was wearing a black leather jacket under a white V-neck shirt, boots, and black jeans.

He's smirking at me while I head his way. His dark, messy hair is loose with small strands of hair on his forehead.

"Hop on," he says, throwing me helmet- which I'm quick to catch- I scoff rolling my eyes.

"I am not riding in this." I sternly point at the motorcycle.

Chase turns to me with a pouty face, his hand on his heart. "Is the princess scared of a little bike?"

There is nothing more I hate than mocking, exactly what he is doing to me. I let out a frustrated breath and place the helmet over my head.

Gone through worst and I'm still here.

I hear Chase chuckle behind me. He eventually jumps on and I wrap my arms around his waist, his body tenses for a second but it suddenly relaxed.

He speeds off. I have to admit, I was afraid of riding a motorcycle again ever since my dad passed away.

We used to ride out of town sometimes, but Chase is good at this. I wonder what else is he good at.

He suddenly stops in an empty street. No cars. No houses, no buildings.

"What are we doing here?" I unwrap my arms around him.

He jumps off, I do the same, taking off my helmet and taking a look at my surroundings.

I face Chase, narrowing my eyes at him. He chuckles while also taking his helmet off. "Follow me."

He walks towards an... abandoned park?

As soon as we pass by the park he keeps walking.

Where is he even going?

We walk around a lot of trees. Looking around I spot a small river, a beautiful river, I stop walking to take a better look. Birds fly around while the sun is hitting the water making it shine.

"Beautiful, isn't it?" Chase whispered in my ear, a small gasp escapes my lips from how close he is.

I turn my head to see his face practically on my shoulder. Our eyes meet and we stare at each other deeply. Something in my stomach flips twisting. Not a bad one, a good feeling. I can hardly breathe. Why am I feeling this way now?

He makes me feel things I haven't felt in a long time ago. I didn't even realize that I was observing the river for that long.

This weird feeling has to stop.

I slightly nod at his words. Stepping aside, away from him. It may feel good, but I can't let myself like it. I wouldn't have anyone to talk about it with.

The only person I could it's dead, and Jacob would go mad. I'm pretty sure he would beat the guy.

He clears his throat and continues walking as I follow behind him. He begins to walk faster, leaving me behind. I start to speed my walking trying to reach for him, but he suddenly stopped walking.

I reach his side with a frown on my face. I turn at whatever he is looking at only to find the most beautiful place in this town.

My breath stuck in my throat. There is no way to describe how peaceful this place looks.

The only words I could manage to say right now are; "Wow,"
