It's the next morning and Harper has just woken up when a nurse appears at her door
"You have a visitor Mrs.Severide!" The nurse says
"Okay! Send them in!" Harper says rubbing the sleep out of her eyes
Casey then appears at the door and Harper lets out a sigh
"Not the person I was hoping for!" Harper says disappointed
"I know! But I brought coffee and donuts?" Casey says holding up the bag
"How could I say no to coffee?" Harper says as Casey hands her the coffee
"So how was last night?" Casey asks sitting down
"He's not coming is he? Or at least he's not planning on coming?" Harper asks
"No he's not" Casey says looking at the ground
"I've not seen my kids in a week! And by the looks of it Kelly hasn't either!" Harper says looking at her lock screen which is a picture of all 4 of the kids
"There with Benny! Having the time of their lives! You don't need to worry about them Harper!" Casey says smiling as someone appears at the door
"Harper!" Dawson says standing awkwardly at the door
"Dawson! Where've you been?" Harper asks smiling
"I'm sorry!" Dawson says
"Come here!" Harper says holding out her arms before giving Dawson a hug
"How you holding up?" Dawson asks as she pulls away from the hug
"I mean I've been better but I'm doing okay!" Harper says flashing Dawson a forced smile
"He still hasn't showed has he?" Dawson asks
"Nope!" Harper says annoyed
"We'll leave him to me!" Dawson says before walking out
"Oh no" Casey mutters
Dawson jumps in her car and races to Kelly and Harper's house. She swings the door open
"Kelly Severide! Get your ass down here!" Dawson shouts
"What's the problem?" Kelly asks confused
"Your the problem! Why haven't you gone to see Harper! Let alone let the kids see Harper?!" Gabby shouts
"I've been busy!" Kelly shouts
"Don't give me that crap! You haven't showed up for shifts! You haven't been looking after your kids! You been drinking your problems away! Just like what you did when shay died! And look where that got you?!" Gabby shouts as Kelly sees red
"Don't you dare bring shay into this! She has nothing to do with this! Yes I did struggle with shay but I lost her! We lost her! I've not lost Harper!" Kelly shouts
"Yet Kelly! You've not lost her yet!" Gabby shouts as Kelly goes quiet
"Weather she files for a divorce or really does die in a fire! You need to talk to her! Make her know that everything's gonna be okay! She needs her husband to tell her that she's gonna make it! That's she's gonna see her kids have kids!" Gabby says before looking Kelly up and down
"Gabby-" Kelly says but gabby is already on her way out
