The drive back to Jimin's house was the complete opposite of Jungkook's. The car was radio silent, the only sound in it being the resounding tap tap tap of his father's fingers on the dashboard.
"So.. Father, I-"
"Shh. I'm trying to focus." he snapped. A few specks of spit flew out of his mouth and hit the windscreen.
He was in one of his moods again.
"Okay. Sorry."
"Shh!"
Jimin silenced, words catching in his throat as he curled into himself just so.
He sighed internally when his father finally stopped giving him a furious side eye.
Back to real life.

Jungkook's phone buzzed once, twice, three times before he picked it up.
-3 new texts from Pretty Princess 👑✨-
"Already?" he grinned. "It's only been 3 hours. Did he miss me that much?"
The phone buzzed again.
"Well I guess he did.."
Jungkook unlocked his phone, opening up the new texts.
Jungkook took a deep breath, smirk transforming into a frown faster than you could say "whipped".
He watched as Jimin typed away slowly, senses getting more and more clouded with worry with every second that went by.
Jungkook's heart began pounding faster, beats per minute increasing the longer he looked at the message. He typed in a response as fast as he could, not wanting to keep Jimin waiting.
Jungkook's blood ran cold. He wasn't sure if it was anger, fear, rage, or disgust that he was feeling. It was probably a mix of all four.
He could almost sense the fear in every word that Jimin typed.
He wanted to scream, to rage, to hurt. Just when Jimin had begun opening up and coming out of his shell, his asshole of a father just had to lock him up. Scare him out of ever talking to him again.
And now Jimin wasn't fucking responding.
Jungkook inhaled deeply, trying to calm himself down, and awaited Jimin's response.
