We jump in Bob's car and race back to Krusty's studio. On the way, Mr. Teeny, who is strapped in, in the back seat, starts making random monkey squeaks.
"Oh, she's my girlfriend." Bob answers, poking my shoulder. I look around the car.
"Huh? Who are you talking to? The monkey?"
"He doesn't like it when you call him that."
"You can understand him?"
"I told you, we've known each other for a while. We were both on Krusty's show."
"O...kay..."
That's weird... But still, it's not as weird as him calling me his girlfriend. Is that what he thinks? Or could he just not come up with another word? Then again, he didn't even hesitate when saying it.
"Did you mean that?"
"What?"
"That I'm your..." I feel myself blush. "...girlfriend?"
"Yes, definitely. That's what you are to me."
"Oh..."
"If you don't like the term..."
"What? No! It's fine."
I can't help smiling. I'm his girlfriend.
Case closed. I'm not going worried about it anymore.
"So, does that make you my boyfriend?"
"Well obviously, (y/n)."
"Don't be mean!" I laugh lightly, rolling my eyes.
Mr. Teeny squeaks again.
"Yes, I know. She does have a pretty laugh." He says pinching my red, smiling cheek.
