"Mrs. Moskowitz thank you so much for letting me stay"
"Of course Freya! Like I told you you're welcomed to stay as long as you want or need, Okay?"
Freya gave her a small smile and nodded.
She smiled "well let me call Eli for him to help you set up-"
Freya's eyes widened "um-no- you don't have to-"
"ELI HON COME HERE!"
Freya sighed "—okay" it was too late.
Hawk groaned, got up from his bed, and walked to the living room "mom I told you I already did the dishes and cleaned the- oh- Freya?"
Freya nodded slowly "the one and only"
"I will leave you two talk," his mom said before leaving.
"Wha-what happened? What are you doing here? Are you okay? Did someone hurt you? Why aren't you answering?"
Freya chuckled "well you're not letting me talk, Eli- I'm sorry hawk"
"Eli"
"What?" Freya asked confused.
"I want you to call me Eli," he said with a grin on his face.
She slowly nodded "all right then and no I'm not okay"
He walked to the nearest couch and sat down and tapped next to him for her to sit there. She hesitated but sat down.
"What happened?"
She turned to look at him and couldn't help but notice his beautiful blue eyes. His red hair wasn't on his usual Mohawk. His pale face. His beautiful kissable lips and his beautiful scar above.
"Freya! Earth to Freya Rose!"
She shook her head and blinked a few times "oh- I'm sorry"
"It's okay Frey. Now tell me what happened or not if you don't want to- if you don't want to it's fine. I mean I'm not gonna force you- I don't want you to feel like I'm pressuring you-"
"Eli! It's alright and yes I'm going to tell you, calm down"
He slowly nodded "okay- I'm sorry. Go ahead"
"So I was at Miguel's place-" she started but got cut off by him "did Miguel hurt you?" He asked with his eyes wide.
"Eli for fucks sakes let me talk and no it wasn't Miguel"
"Yeah I'm sorry I will shut up now" he apologized.
Freya couldn't help but smile and blush a little hoping he wouldn't notice which was too late because he did. But he didn't say anything. It wasn't the time.
"Anyway I drove home and I heard Daniel and Amanda arguing. I stood there confused. I wasn't hiding- I was just standing there shocked. I had never seen them fight- that's why I was shocked"
Eli nodded understanding and for her to continue.
Freya sighed "and I didn't notice they were arguing because of me until I heard my name. Remember that I told you that the LaRussos took me in because I didn't have more family?"
He nodded and she chuckled nervously "well turns out I have an aunt that didn't want me to know about her existence"
His eyes widened and his jaw dropped for a second.
Freya let out a small laugh "yeah- I know anyway when I heard that I ran out and drove away without knowing where I was going. Somehow I ended up here- hopefully, you don't mind- I mean I didn't even ask you"
Eli smiled "it's okay don't worry. you can stay here as long as you want. I don't mind. it's actually perfect- I miss you, princess"
she chuckled "you do?"
"of course I do. anyway so do you wanna talk about..."
Freya shook her head "no- not right now at least. my head and eyes hurt from crying- I just want to sleep right now"
Eli nodded "okay come, you can sleep in my room. you can take my bed and I can take the couch-"
before she could say something he got up and started walking to his room.
"i-i-Eli wait up!" she stood up and catch up to him.
"Eli- you don't have to do that. I can perfectly sleep on the couch- I don't mind"
Eli chuckled "princess, as much as I love that offer I can't take it. I can let the princess sleep on a shitty couch"
"hawk- I mean Eli you do realize I'm not a princess," she said rolling her eyes.
"you should be"
"wow yeah how charming- Eli I look like shit I have been crying for hours and please I don't want you to sleep on the couch- any way you need your beauty sleep"
Eli playfully rolled his eyes "haha very funny, princess. I'm serious-"
"oh really I thought your name was Eli- well serious my name is Freya Rose-come on i don't mind sleeping on the couch"
eli groaned "please freya why cant you just accept the bed-"
"because is not my bed, eli- you know what fine I'll take the bed but with one condition"
he chuckled "and whats that, princess?"
"that you, sleep in it too"
his eyes widened "huh?"
"yeah, you sleep in one side and i sleep on the other. we can put a pillow in the middle like a barrier"
"i-i dont know about that freya-" he said laughing nervously avoiding her gaze.
she snorted "where did the 'princess' go? ah holy shit! are you nervous?"
"wha-what? nervous? n-no I'm not-"
she smirked "you are! oh my god is hawk the baddie nervous of sharing a bed with his ex?" she teased.
he blushed and shook his head "I'm not nervous"
"yeah sure you're not that's why your cheeks are red from blushing" she teased.
he covered his cheeks with his hands "I'm not blushing"
she nodded "yeah sure that's why their the same color as your hair"
"haha so funny, you should be a comedian" he said sarcastically.
"why thank you kind sir, now come on just say yes and you wont have back pain from sleeping in the 'shitty' couch"
he playfully rolled his eyes and sighed "okay okay fine you win but with the pillow barrier thing"
"why? i dont bite" she smirked.
his breath hitched which caused her to laugh "obviously I'm kidding E! i love teasing you. you look very cute nervous"
"you think I'm cute huh?"
she started blushing. he chuckled "now whos blushing"
"i always thought you were cute and not gonna lie you hair without the mohawk makes you look hot but anyway can i borrow some clothes?"
