"Hey, guys ready to hear me sing?" Freya said walking past the two boys.
"Hopefully you can actually sing" Demetri whispered to Enzo which in return he nodded.
"I can trust me now come on, Enzo lead the way"
Enzo nodded "yeah come on. My mom owns her own auditorium. It's huge!"
Before Freya can say something Enzo stopped walking. "Why are we stopping?"
"We are here"
"Wow," both Freya and Demetri said.
"Come on. Do you have a song in mind?" Enzo asked opening the door and walking in. Freya and Demetri following.
"Yes I have a list-" Freya started but stopped once she walked on stage.
"Holy shit. I think I might cry- it's a dream come true" Freya said in a low voice almost like a whisper.
"You once told me that your mom's dream was broadway right?" Demetri asked.
Freya nodded and smiled "yes and hopefully I will get to do that"
Enzo smiled and side hug his best friend "of course you will! Now Demetri and I will be sitting right there-" he said pointing to two seats.
Freya nodded "okay"
"Here's your mic, my mom came early to check the sound and shit so just turn on the mic. Tell the band what song you're singing"
"Band? What band-" she turns around and saw the band' she was shocked.
"Oh I didn't even notice them"
Enzo snorted "well whenever you're ready- god I feel like Mr. Shue- just sing" He walked away and sat next to Demetri.
Freya breathes in and out. "Calm down you can do it"
She walked over to the band "hey guys, here's the sheet music"
They nodded. She walked to the center of the stage.
"My name is Freya Rose and I'll be singing New York State Of Mind by Billy Joel"
That song and the one she was going to sing at her real audition were her mother's favorites. She was really little but she remembered her and her mom singing those songs in the car.
She nodded to the band and they started playing.

Once the song ended she noticed her two best friends were standing up clapping.
She laughed and smiled "was that good?"
The two boys ran up to her and hug her "not good. Brilliant!"
"God, you are so in! If my mom doesn't let you in I will" Enzo said.
"You sing so beautiful Freya," Demetri said.
"Aw thank you, Demetri! God, I was so nervous but then it just faded away!"

After what happened she drove to the house. She needed to practice on her own the song she was singing Monday morning.
"Freya! Hey, how did it go?" Amanda asked her.
"Great! My audition is on Monday so I have time to practice the song"
She nodded and walked closer to Freya. "So Robby is staying here- I don't know how many time I just thought you should know"
"Oh okay- that's fine. I will go lay down a little I'm pretty tired."
Amanda nodded "okay sweetheart let me know if you need anything"
Freya nodded and make her way to her room. Her phone started ringing once she saw who it was she responded "hey Miggy"
"Hey, so we are going to the beach tomorrow wanna come?"
"Sure! Whos going?"
"Um well Demetri, Eli, and a few more cobras"
"Oh okay see you tomorrow, Miggy"
She was about to end the call when she heard him call her name "yes?"
"I talked to Eli about what happened"
"I don't want to know- I don't care- I do care but I'm scared of what he said"
"Okay but he still loves you- I can tell you why whenever you want"
"No, if I want to know I want him to tell me"
Miguel sighed "true"
"And if he loves me he wouldn't have kissed moon"
"You know they're not together right?"
"Really?"
"Yeah I thought you should know"
"Thank you, Miggy"
"Of course! I care about you, you are my best friend"
"Love you too Miggy have a goodnight!"

She ended the call and breathe in and out.
"Hey did you hear that Robby is staying here?"
She turned around to see Sam and nodded "yes I know that Willy Wonka is staying here. Why though?"
Sam sighed "well her mom is MIA, his dad doesn't give a flying shit about him. He was living without electricity- he barely had food. That's why he was so rude in the morning"
When Freya heard her say about Robby's dad which is Johnny she stayed silent. She nodded "that's terrible!"
Sam nodded "yeah well I just wanted to let you know and tell you to have a goodnight"
Freya nodded "have a good night too!"
Sam nodded and as she was leaving "Sam wait!"
"Yes?"
"Do you like Robby?"
"Like how?"
"Like like him"
"Im not sure..."
