karl immediately felt her body tense up. he was scared he messed up. what if she doesn't want to move in with him? what if she thinks they are moving too fast.
"i- i mean you already stay at my house more than your apartment," he murmured, "a-and i talked to ethan and bailey and t- they're fine with you moving in."
river just laid there, not saying anything. this scared karl even more. hed rather her say no than not say anything at all.
"i get it, you can say no. you want to stay with sk-" he started.
"yes" she interrupted.
he looked at her and said "w- what?"
"yes, ill move in with you karl."
she smiled as he wrapped his arms around her.
"oh thank god. i was really really scared you were gonna say no," he said while nervously giggling
"of course i would say yes silly. I love you"
that was the first time one of them said the 𝘓 word to the other. it felt normal to them so they didn't make it a big deal. though inside they both were screaming.
"I love you too. now c'mon let's go home."
