"Hoseok."
"Hmm?"
"Can you please shut up for 7 seconds?" you sternly asked as you focused on the target, aiming your bow and arrow to it. As you heard him shut up, you let go of the arrow and made it fly straight to centre, earning 10 points. You lowered down your bow, satisfied with your own doing.
You turned around, facing him who's keeping you company from the side of the field. "You were saying?"
"I was telling you about that dating rumour. Were you not listening?"
"Between who?" you asked as you walked over to the bench.
Your hands reached for another 5 arrows, "Minjun and Kisun," you heard him answer. You were well-aware of the two having an on and off relationship.
"I bet they wouldn't last that long. They'll probably break up after 2 months. Are they still together? Or did they break up again?" you asked.
"I'm not sure, but the last time they broke up was because Minjun forgot to pick Kisun up," Hoseok answered. You sighed, walking over to your previous spot and getting your vow ready. "Either way it's stupis. Who breaks up with someone because he or she forgot to pick the other up? Take a cab or something."
This, you practicing and having Hoseok accompanying you and gossipping together, was a pretty normal activity for the two of you. You were planning on relying on archery to give you a scholarship for college. After figuring that you probably need to practice until late at night, you told him, one of your close friends, and he said yes to accompanying you practice.
You would ask one of your female close friends but you didn't have that much, and it'll be somewhat useless. Hanging out with guys was always more fun, and you have 7 guys to make everything fun. But, being friends with guys would somewhat guarantee your safety, moreover being outside so late at night. You always hated the idea of "girls are weaker and guys are stronger" type of shit, but it wouldn't hurt to be precautious, right?
So, here you are, shooting your last arrow with Hoseok watching from the side.
"Wow! Daebak!!" He cheered as you hit "10" with all five arrows.
"I could've made that one closer to the centre. Shit," you muttered. You then heard him click his tongue, "Stop that, you're doing great."
You sighed, "Okay. Help me gather the arrows, would you?"
So, he did. He walked closer to the target and pulled out the arrows, while you tucked your bow in the case. He hands you the arrows and you took it, tucking it inside, before zipping it up.
You then lift it up by the strap and said, "I think I'm gonna have to go to the locker room to get some stuff. You wanna come?"
And with that, you find yourself walking side by side with him into the building and to the girls locker room. It would be very ambiguous to think about having him in the girls locker room with only you and himself, but you trust him enough not to do anything. So, here you are, in your heart, feeling glad that it's not locked yet.
Your phone is still in your locker, so imagine how miserable you would be without it.
The two of you walked in and closed the door. You walked over to your locker and opened it up, getting some of your stuff out and putting your archery kit in.
"Wow, girls' locker rooms are way nicer than ours," you heard him say as you took out your hoodie and switched on your phone.
"Well. Of course. We're not animals. We keep most things clean. And our eyes to ourselves," you sassily replied.
"Yeah right, I bet-"
His words stopped coming out as you heard the door lock clicks. Both of your eyes widen. "Are we locked in?"
You then walked over and tried opening the door but failed. "Oh shit," you exclaimed.
Hoseok then tried banging the door with his hands alongside yelling "We're doing here! Please open the door." But, it really looks like that person took off right after locking the door.
"Fuck. Should we call someone?" he asked.
"Umm.. Hyungwon is the last on the list, I can say," you replied.
"Let's try Shownu," he said, pulling out his phone.
"I'll try Kihyun," you said, pulling out yours.
The missed calls were thrown out to all the other six, but unfortunately, none of them picked up. You sighed as you sat on the bench. "I guess, we're staying here for the night."
"Yay," you said to him sarcastically.
"Should we just sleep? Or talk? Or play something?" he asked.
"Play what?" you asked back.
He stayed silent, thinking. "Do you somehow keep papers in your locker?"
"I don't know, let me check," you said getting up and walking over to your locker. You opened it up and searched for a piece of paper.Your hands felt a plastic covered cuboid and you figured, "loose leaves!" You cheered as you pulled it out of your locker.
"And so what?" you asked, handing him the loose leaf after closing your locker door.
"Why don't we make paper airplanes, and see which one flies better?" he said as you sat beside him on one of the benches. "The winner gets to pick someone that the loser has to kiss 3 times or at least 30 seconds."
After contemplating, you answered, "okay."
And so the battle begins, the two of you make your airplanes and hold it in your hands. Finally, you threw it together.
The two paper airplanes landed in the same line and so an argument started.
"Mine got 2 millimetres farther than wherever yours is!" you stated.
"No, it didn't!"
"Yours is just longer!" you exclaimed.
"That still makes me the winner! Just accept it, Y/N! You lose! I win!" he said.
You sighed, "Whatever. Who do you want me to kiss?"
"I don't know yet. So, I think I'm saving this," he lied. Of course that was a lie. What kind of guy friend wants their female friend to kiss some random guy? Well, Minhyuk, but still! He'd rather have you kiss him. Oh, how he would love that. He would love you.
If only that doesn't make everything so complicated.
"Ugh, whatever," you said, annoyed, laying on the bench. Hoseok then sat near your legs. He contemplated on asking you to kiss him right now, but his thoughts were stopped as he sears your ringtone. You shot up, now sitting as you pulled out your phone.
"균"
It's Changkyun. You then pressed the green button and put it on speaker.
"Kyun!" you cheered, feeling glad that he called you back.
"What? For fucks sake it's almost one in the morning, Y/N!" he said.
"YAH! We're stuck in the girls locker room. Help us get out!" Hoseok said.
"Just sleep there. Bang or something," he said.
"IM CHANGKYUN! Don't make me fucking kill you tomorrow morning!" you scold him. Regardless of all 7 of them being older than you, then sometimes need a better filter for their words. Especially Minhyuk and Changkyun.
"Ughh.. Fine," he said before hanging up the call.
"He's gonna get to us, right?" Hoseok asked you.
"Yeah.. I'm gonna kill him tomorrow if he doesn't," you said.
You laid back down and stared at the ceiling, not knowing what to do. You'd call your parents if they're not out of town. But they are.
Suddenly, Hoseok called out. "Y/N?"
"Hmm."
He then hesitantly replied, "I think I already know about who you should kiss."
"Before you continue. Please make sure that the person is not disgusting or-"
"Me."
"Huh?" you said, shocked at his request. Did he just ask you to kiss him? Yes.
"It's fine if you don-"
"No, no, I want to do it," you said, sitting up.
"Changkyun's gonna take a while right?" he asked.
"Most likely," you replied. You then slowly scooted closer to him, until he finally closed the distance and pressed his lips to yours. You slid your hand around his neck, pulling him closer. This would probably wreck your friendship, but you could care less right now.
A few moments later, he had you straddling his lap and kissing your jaws gently. You sighed as he kissed your sweet spot. He then stopped exploring and continued there, making a masterpiece on your neck.
You continued to pull him closer and the air was too intense for you to hear the lock was being picked from the outside. The door opens up and thank fuck that it was enough to pull the both of you back to reality.
Changkyun stood there with his eyes wide open, shocked by the sight before him.
"Oh my God, Kyun!" you said as you pulled back.
Hoseok stood up, letting you get to your feet. A huge grin then decorated his face as he got an idea. "I won't tell anyone, if you two buy me spicy fried chicken and tteokbokki tomorrow," he said, black-mailing the two of you.
"Okay! Okay! I'll buy you that. Just, don't say anything, at least not yet!" you said to him.
"Okay deal," he said before letting the two of you out with your things in your hands.
The night ended with Hoseok walking you home. He stopped as he watched you walk to your house. You then stopped, walking over to him.
"We'll talk about this later, okay?" you asked before kissing his cheeks and walking inside. He could only stand there, shocked and happy.
