Least expectancy and importance
When it comes to society
Even completely insignificant
Yet from my random rant, you
Chose to drop notes, for a journey
One that took you a while too
And probably you went in completely
Unaware of the ropes
Yet you chose to show me the same ropes
Ones you had had to find
It had me freeze for a moment
I was walking in alone and blind
Yet someone selflessly made the choice
To walk me through a path
Down which I doubted my every step
Something I was sure I was about
To completely give up on, merely
Trying only when I had nothing to do
Perseverance is a virtue
As is your heart of gold - priceless
At times when I lose hope in people
Seeing how things go on all around
It's teeny presents like this
That bring a definite smile
I hope you're smiling too
Because people like you are ones
That the YoUniverse truly needs
Now I hope you go get some sleep
Before I end up tucking you in myself
