Nikkis POV 2 weeks later February 5
Today's the day I get to leave jail c: ok it wasn't that bad but like I just didn't want to be there anymore. I took my time to get better and I'm kinda there I would like to say. I've found different ways to cope and I'm feeling much better. My scars are almost fully gone it's just the ones on my arms that show and are still there.
Through out my time here my parents visited everytime they could. I talked to my sisters over the phone. I've started fitting into a good eating pattern which is good. I'm not eating a lot but at least I am. He food here is shit hospital food. Girls here are nice except people were coming and leaving a lot.
I like to journal and write things in my journal. I've made some questionable drawings to get my answer out. I shredded crayons and crayons and carved words into it. Not my brightest moment but I've had worse
We made a plan for me after when I get out. I'm going to go to therapy everyday for the first few times. I'm taking pills. Antidepressants and sleeping pills to help me sleep because I don't sleep if I don't take the pills. That's basically it and my family are gonna help me get good eating habits and stuff
I packed up all my things said bye to everyone. I wait for my parents to come pick me up. I think charli and Dixie are coming too which I'm happy about because I haven't seen them in so long. I've talked to them but for only a short Amount of time but it was nice to hear from them. Not excited about getting back into everything though and having to deal with the drama
"Your ready to go Nikki your parents are waiting for you in the waiting room your discharged you can leave when you get there. Remember all you have learned I wish you the best Nicole" mrs ash says
"Bye thank you" I wave and I walk to the waiting room with my stuff. I see my mom and dad in the waiting room. I walk over to them and give them a big hug. I haven't had a hug since I got to this place
"Nikki come on let's go we're surprising your sisters" my dad says pulling away from the hug. We walk outside to the car. So the plan is that their at the house and I'm just gonna surprise them
Surprising them back at the house
I'm finally back at the house. Haven't been here in so long it feels like but it was only 2 weeks. The dogs come and greet me and start barking which signals charli and Dixie to come downstairs because the dogs were barking. Once they see me their eyes light up. They run over to me and give me a big hug and I almost falling over
"NIKKI" both my sisters scream and I think my mom was recording it
"Missed you guys" I laugh
"Missed you too nikkkii" they both laugh and my parents stop recording and they join in on the hug. It was a pretty long hug but it felt good. After like not getting a hug in two weeks
After we pull away we sit down at the dinner table. I'm not that hungry but it is night time or evening. Tomorrow I have to drive to therapy at like 3:00 because yeah and I'm driving myself because I want to. I'm gonna bring up the idea of me getting a dog in a few days.
I do want a dog my own dog it could like make me more responsible because I actually am forced to get outta bed. I want it to be like a small dog I know what breed of dog I want. I want a Bichon poodle which are small and cute. They don't shed which is good and their like a emotional support dog kinda
Anyways I hardly ate but at least I did. Food tasted really really good I loved it. After I take my pills then fall asleep on my bed but before I did I was hanging out with charli and Dixie
