valentine's day was never something [m/n] really considered, or viewed as something important.

the boy was obsessed with getting good grades. friends? never heard of them, much less of getting crushes. he barely paid any attention to any of his classmates, and he blended in well enough; well enough to not be bullied, that is.

might the boy also be the only one that's attracted to boys in his grade, then his love life was utterly fucked.

and to say that he's one of the top students in his year. fuck love, that's out of the question- at least, maybe until he's graduated.

so it wasn't a surprise that the boy absolutely despised the day- what was the point in all of it? pink, red decor all over the hallways, valentine's themed lessons and lectures; fuck em all, those were boring. [maybe he was a little salty that he has only ever received one valentine's gift from someone, a box of chocolates that were surprisingly good- it was probably a prank, by the way- but as they say, it is what it is, and [m/n] could only learn to accept it.]

so much for not having friends. his social anxiety said no though, so did he really have a choice?
