"No." He says, skeptically.
'What is she talking about?' His voice whispers into my ear as I realize his lips aren't moving.
"Um, never mind." I add, turning back into his chest to hide my freaked out expression.
"Are you alright y/n? You seem very on edge lately." He says, expressing his concern.
"Yeah, just a bit stressed and a little anxious about school ending. Don't worry about it." I brush it off, hoping he does too. Eventually, his body warms mine completely, comforting me so deeply that I fall asleep in his arms.

The next day, I wake up in my bed, tucked in as if I had never left. Hermione and I had to wake up extra early today so that we could pack our bags. I peer out the window beside my bed, observing the blazing orange sun barely peeking over the horizon of the black lake.
"Hermione, it's six o'clock. Time to get up." I whisper. She is sprawled out across the bed, her blanket on the ground, with her feet pressed against the headboard. She replies 'huh', with her eyes closed, obviously her subconscious speaking. "Come on Mione, we can't be late." I say, nudging her unconscious body.
"Okay, okay. I'm up." She croaks, rolling over the edge of her bed with a loud thump, taking her sheets with her. She pops up over the side, with an annoyed expression as I laugh uncontrollably holding my stomach. "It's not funny y/n! Stop laughing!" She shouts, standing up. It was then that I realized that her hair is standing straight up, probably from static electricity as a result of falling on the ground but even at that, it was the best sight I've seen all day.
She groans and walks into the bathroom. I chuckle under my breath, walking over to my dresser and pulling its drawers wide open, revealing the rows of neatly rolled clothes. I pile them all into my trunk in no time, clasping it shut as soon as Hermione walks out of the bathroom, hair dripping wet, and filling the room with the scent of her floral shampoo.
"Oh, that was fast." She mentions in surprise, ringing her hair out while she observes my stuffed trunk.
"Hermione, you've been in the shower for a half-hour." I inform her with a slight snicker.
She makes a face. "Oh...well, that explains it." She mutters, walking over to her vanity, picking up her purple hairbrush, and starting to brush her messy hair. "You should probably hop in the shower now. We haven't got much time."
"We have two and a half hours." I reply, picking up a towel. She turns around abruptly, her hair only halfway brushed through.
"Exactly!" She shouts, urging me in the direction of the bathroom. Hermione is someone who always likes to be on time and is always in a hurry even if we have plenty of it. I roll my eyes and amble into the bathroom, locking it behind me.
While in the shower, all I could think about was the next few months. All the fun I would have spending time with my friends, especially Fred.
While doing my makeup, I decided to do a short wing of black eyeliner. "Ooo. Getting fancy for today?" Hermione asks, admiring my makeup. I look at her oddly.
"No, just looking forward to seeing Mr. and Mrs. Weasley again...why?" I chuckle under my breath awkwardly.
"I don't know." She hesitates, making a face at herself. She shakes her head, forgetting the unknown thought. "You just look good." She compliments, sending me an uplifting grin.
"Thanks, Mione. You too! Oh, and purple is definitely your color." I add, causing her to widen her grin into a smile. I continue my makeup, adding a red water tint to my lips, mascara, and a bit of highlighter on my inner corner and nose.
I end up wearing a periwinkle cropped knitted sweater, black skinny jeans, and my matching periwinkle converse high tops with my hair weaved tightly into two french braids. I snatch my trunk from the corner of the room after stuffing it with the rest of my belongings in the dorm. "You ready Mione?"
She nods her head excitedly as we prance out of the door, excited for what the summer holds.
We meet the boys in the common room, Fred's eyes immediately being attracted to me. I hurry over to his side, placing my luggage on the ground next to us before wrapping my arms around him. He huffs from the unexpected embrace. "Good morning darling. You seem like you're in a good mood." He says, I can just hear the smile in his voice.
"Just excited." I respond with a bright smile as I pull away.
"Good morning darling." George mimics in an annoying voice. I kick his ankle playfully. "Ah." He mutters, placing his hand over the place I kicked. Fred and I snicker, quickly realizing the others had been waiting for us at the door.
"Let's go." He whispers to me, interlocking his hand with mine, and picking up my trunk with the other. We start towards the door with George trailing behind us.
----------
We all board the Hogwarts express, along with the rest of the school. I take a seat in a car with Hermione, Ron, and Harry. "What do you think we will do this summer?" Hermione asks, snatching a bite from Ron's chocolate frog.
"uh- excuse me..." He says sassily, his mouth wide open with a scrunch in his brows. We all snicker at his tone. He gasps dramatically. "I'm hurt. That was hurtful." He says sternly, glaring at us. We burst out in laughter, including him. "Shut up." He manages to get out in between all of our giggles.
"Anyone want to play a few rounds with every flavor beans? I bought a box while getting on." Harry mentions.
"Yeah, sure. Also, I am kindy announcing that I think Ron will lose again." Hermione adds.
"Will not!" He retorts.
"We'll see." She shrugs her shoulders.
"Y/n, since these two won't stop bickering, you go first." Harry suggests.
"Alright." I respond. 'Please, not dirt. Please not dirt.' I think to myself as I reach for a jelly bean in the little box, but before I could pick one up, the train comes to a violent halt. I launch forward, leading to my vision flooding with darkness.
