𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐋𝐀𝐖𝐘𝐄𝐑「𝐘𝐁」

Brianna stood from the bed she layed on walking towards the gaurd who had called her, she had been in prison only a day and didn't know how Samariah made it through an entire month without shutting down.

She did sometimes during the day found herself regretting turning herself in and giving into Mr. Gaulden's threats but now she couldn't do anything,

"You lawyer is here to see you" The guard said confusing her, Brianna scrunched up her face but quickly nodded her head following him down the hallway

The other inmates called out to her by whistling making her more disgusted than she already was

"Right trough here" The woman mumbled leading her into a familiar room, it had the same features of the room which she would visit Samariah in

"thank you" Brianna mumbled once the female guard had unlocked the cuffs from her hand

She walked into the room seeing a fear white woman sitting at the table looking at some paperwork with a pen in her hand

Brianna took a seat at the silver table making the woman quickly look up at her, once she realized who it was she released a breath giving Brianna a small smile.

"You must be Brianna i'm Mrs. Cole but you can call me Linda" she said extending her hand, Brianna looked down at the ladies hand before shaking it the best she could from the pain In her wrist.

Silence took over the room while Linda continued to flip trough her notes while Brianna kept her attention on the room sometimes glancing at Linda

"Do i know you"? Brianna asked breaking the silence, Linda chuckled shaking her head "no but i was assigned you're case" She mumbled her answer giving Brianna a small smile.

The ladies were once again left in silence, a couple seconds passed before Linda gave Brianna her full attention

"Like i said earlier i'm you're new Lawyer after my boss personally assigned me you're case" She said making Brianna look at her confuse, "who is you're boss"? Brianna questioned, Linda ignored her questioned reaching for the file she had on the table.

"After you gave a full confession i'm not sure of what i can do to help you, i can get you a lesser sentence but that's about it" Linda mumbled, Brianna bit down on her bottom lip "So i can still get out of here"? she asked, Linda looked at her confused before smiling "not get out but i can try my best to get you a smaller sentence, we can try claiming self defence" She suggested

Brianna eyes widen before she slowly nodded "okay" she mumbled

The plates fell from Samariah's hand startling both her and Kentrell "why are you in my house"? she asked suddenly afraid, he didn't response making her eyes widen, without a second though she reached for the knife that had been on the sink pointing it at him.

Once she registered what was happening she looked at Samariah with wide eyes "what are you doing"? She asked holding her hand forward towards her cousin

Samariah moved the knife now pointing it at Bela making her take a small step back "Samariah"? Bela called out softly releasing a breath.

Samariah looked at them seeing her vision become black and blurred "Put down the knife" Bela mumbled trying to walk towards her, Kentrell stood at the entrance of the Kitchen looking at them both confused, he didn't know what to expect if Samariah had an episode so he was lost on everything that had been happening.

"If you take one more step i'm going to kill you" Samariah warned walking around the counter making Kentrell and Bela walk towards the opposite direction

She looked at them one more time before running out the kitchen with the knife still in her hand

Kentrell looked at her before scrunching up his face he walked out the kitchen in the direction of Samariah's room

"Do you want some coffee"? Belas asked unaware that he had left the kitchen

Samariah locked her door passing her hand over her eyes, she felt like a ton of bricks had fell on her head and her vision had happened to get more worst.

She rushed to her bathroom splashing some of the water on her face, she held her head down closing her eyes tightly

She closed her eyes trying to focus on her breathing, everything around her started to get smaller and she suddenly felt like she was losing all the air from her lungs and the voices non her head had became louder and louder making her hold her head.

Before she could open her eyes she felt a hand rest on her back making her scream

Kentrell looked at Samariah who had started to scream before she stepped back tripping over her foot falling head first into her tub making his eyes widen

"Oh shit" he mumbled slowly walking over to her he pressed his hand against her neck feeling her pulse making him release a nervous sigh

"KENTREL, WE GOTTA GET TO WORK"! He heard Bela yell making him roll his eyes

He left Samariah in the tub unconscious walking out her room going into the living room where Bela stood already in her work outfit

"i still gotta get dress, you can leave imma be rite behind you" he told her smiling, Bela nodded before walking over to him

The both of them shared a kiss before she smiled walking out the door "Samariah can give you the spare key before you leave, tell her you're my guess" Bela said waving at him, he smiled before shutting the door

He locked the door before rushing back to Samariah's room he made his way to the bathroom where she was not sitting up rubbing her head

"what the fuck did you do"? She asked making his eyes widen, before she could stand to her feet Kentrell ran out the room going straight to Bela's room locking the door hearing Samariah behind him.

"KENTRELL"! Samariah yelled knocking loudly on the door not getting a response, Kentrell stood on the other side of the door "i'm sorry swea i didn't mean to make you fall" he said making her chuckle

"Don't care Mr. Gaulden i just want you out my house" Samariah said feeling a pain in her head, she ignored it seeing kentrell walk out the room with his suite in his hand

"imma go, Bela said give me the key tho" he said extending his hand towards her

Samariah gave him blank stare before walking away, a couple seconds later he realized she wasn't returning making him smack his lips

"I'M LEAVING"! He yelled before walking out the door slamming the door, Samariah laid in her bed feeling a pain in her head making her close her eyes ignoring the pain feeling sleep take her over.
